Who decided that it would be a good idea to have Joe Biden fly to South Carolina and give a speech marking *checks notes* the anniversary of his primary win in 2020?
Seriously? Who celebrates winning a primary six years ago, after actually being president, when (theoretically) there could be other “wins” to celebrate? Or is this an admission that the Biden presidency wasn’t actually about Joe Biden? His administration was more of a regency run by his Politburo. This seems rather sad, and more like an excuse for Jill to get him out of the house.
Also, whose idea was it to put old Joe on a commercial flight? Isn’t he fighting advanced cancer? Where is his Secret Service detail?
Oh look… they rolled Joe Biden out for a publicity stunt.
He hasn’t flown commercial in years, so it’s safe to assume this was all staged.
Also, weren’t we told he had advanced cancer last year?

And then there was the actual speech. If you’re interested in watching it, it can be seen here.
In his very old man folksy weird way, Biden started off his speech by reminding everyone of the death of his first wife, and his infant daughter. How on earth, exactly, was this supposed to relate back to South Carolina? Joe then explained that former South Carolina Senator Fritz Hollings encouraged him to stay in the Senate. That would be the same Hollings that Biden eulogized back in 2019, who was a segregationist. And then Joe gave a shout-out to Jim Clyburn for handing him South Carolina back in 2020 during the primary. Again, why was he brought out for this speech, again? Just because he loves South Carolina?
The gathering on a rainy night hosted by the state Democratic Party was intended to commemorate the sixth anniversary of Biden’s pivotal primary win in the state. Biden’s bid for the presidential nomination was faltering until the victory catapulted him to the front of the field.
Biden has referred to South Carolina as a second home state after his native Delaware. He has long vacationed with his family on Kiawah Island, near Charleston. He also spent time there after his son Beau died of cancer.
“Folks, when it mattered, you were there for me,” Biden said Friday. “You believed in me … and I believed in you, too.”
Biden then listed off his accomplishments. Putting Ketanji Brown Jackson on the Supreme Court – or, as he called her in the speech, “a black woman.” Picking Kamala Harris as vice president – or, as he put it, “a woman.” Wow. Those were the first two he came up with. And then he went on to tout all the things he did for the black community.
And then he moved on to complain about Donald Trump, because what else does Joe have to talk about?
Former President @JoeBiden: "Did you see Trump give the State of the Union…? Is he still talking? It's unbelievable, the guy talks almost two hours but never mentions the anniversary of Putin invading Ukraine. Never once." pic.twitter.com/YNJP1Nvu0w

Uh, last I checked, Putin invaded Ukraine on Biden’s watch. Why would Biden want to bring this up? And Trump did mention Ukraine during the State of the Union.
And we’re working very hard to end the ninth war, the killing and slaughter between Russia and Ukraine, where 25,000 soldiers are dying each and every month — think of that, 25,000 soldiers are dying a month. A war which would have never happened if I were president. Would have never happened.
And why is Biden bringing up the length of Trump’s speech? That is actually quite a contrast to old Joe, even if he doesn’t realize it. Trump has the stamina of an Energizer Bunny, and he feeds off an audience.
This is why the “actually Trump is old and frail” talking points effort failed
Dude’s gonna riff for another two hours if you let him

But then Joe really stretched.
FORMER PRESIDENT BIDEN: “The day I left office, border crossings in the United States were lower than the day that I entered an office inherited from Trump. He is — I won't say it. That's just a fact.”
“On the day I left office, I handed Trump the strongest economy in the world.… pic.twitter.com/ZfB0eKkrEF
— Fox News (@FoxNews) February 28, 2026
The border crossings in January 2021, when Biden took office, numbered 75,316 (per USAFacts). The high peak of the Biden administration was in December 2023, which saw 249,740 crossings. The crossing numbers were always higher than the January 2021 numbers until Biden was no longer running for re-election. In June 2024, border crossings were at 83,532. Biden dropped out of the race in July. In August, the number dropped to 58,009, and has fallen ever since. So yes, Joe is technically correct – because Donald Trump was running on closing the border to illegal immigration. When Trump was inaugurated in January 2025, the number had dropped to 29,105. By the next month, the numbers had plummeted to 8,349. Biden trying to claim credit for a decrease in illegal immigration is offensive in the extreme, especially after exacerbating the problem and claiming he couldn’t fix it without Congress passing more laws.
And as for Biden’s claims about the economy… well, yeah. The United States was the strongest economy in the world in 2025, and is projected to continue to be so in 2026. In fact, the United States has had the strongest economy by GDP since 1980. That’s hardly something that Biden can claim credit for, or brag about. Notice he didn’t bring up the inflation numbers during his administration?
But of course, Joe had to go for the doom and gloom.
Biden also said the U.S. is in the midst of “dark days,” facing threats that are “amplified in the ways we have never seen before.”
“Our children are watching and I’m worried about what they are hearing so we have to be unapologetic for fighting for our country,” he said.
Well, I hope that Joe feels better after getting that all out of his system. And he got to take a trip to South Carolina and have people applaud for him. Wasn’t that fun?
