Evidently, in order to make tonight’s Radio City Music Hall fundraiser a success, Biden needed former Presidents Obama and Clinton to bring in the money. This is how NBC News frames it.

The phrase “active retirements” is just hysterical when you pull back and look at the context. The Biden Campaign is pretty desperate if they are bringing in the younger and much more popular former presidents to headline a major fundraiser. The New York Times piled on as well. 

Biden, Fighting for Credit and Raising Cash, Gets Help From Clinton and Obama

A fund-raiser on Thursday intends to raise $25 million to help re-elect the president, who has amassed a roster of achievements, but whose approval ratings are the lowest of the three.

Biden’s polling is consistently in the 30% range, and has been for well over a year now for a multitude of reasons. Which includes the issues surrounding illegal immigration, our cratering foreign policy, the lack of support for Israel and not enough (according to the rabid leftists) support for Hamas and Gaza, along with persistent inflation continuing to plague the economy that Joe insists is great! Would his campaign have raked in a cool $25 million if they HADN’T brought Obama and Clinton in?

I doubt it. 

Manhattan is going to be a mess today and through this evening. Meanwhile, those who paid anywhere from $250 to $250,000 – yes, you read that number correctly, will be treated to food, drink, and a plethora of celebrities. 

In addition to Obama and Clinton, Biden has recruited some star power to give oomph to his faltering campaign — including “The Late Show” host Stephen Colbert, who will guide the trio’s “armchair conversation.”

Queen Latifah, Lizzo, Ben Platt, Cynthia Erivo and Lea Michele are also slated to perform.

Big-ticket attendees will also have their picture taken with the three presidents by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Evidently there are also accommodations for those who can’t afford to attend in person. If you want to watch the show, you’ll need to shell out $25 for the online version. 

Keep in mind, this event with the big ticket Democrats at the helm is taking place in…MARCH. That is MONTHS ahead of when former presidents are usually brought onto the stage to energize the base and get the fence straddling voters to commit. 

Obama was barely involved in Joe’s 2020 basement campaign. But now, he’s actively working behind the scenes and publicly to drag Joe over the finish line in November. This from a few days ago attempting to celebrate the Obamacare anniversary was a painful train wreck.

Every person involved in the making of that video knows full well that Joe is incompetent, but Obama and now Clinton will persist. 

This level of engagement illustrates Mr. Obama’s support for Mr. Biden, but also what one of his senior aides characterized as Mr. Obama’s grave concern that Mr. Biden could lose to former President Donald J. Trump. The aide, who was not authorized to speak publicly, said that Mr. Obama has “always” been worried about a Biden loss. And so, the aide added, he is prepared to “eke it out” alongside his former vice president in an election that could come down to slim margins in a handful of states.

Obama and Clinton are going to “eke it out” at a glitzy fundraiser tonight that will also include an ‘armchair chat fest’ between the three. How many lies can Joe pack into his allotted discussion time? Will he get to blather on about trains and bridges?

Yes, Joe really went there in claiming that the Key Bridge was a major train route for his commute to and from Delaware. 

At about 1:30, a container ship struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which I’ve been over many, many times commuting from the state of Delaware either on a train or by car. I’ve been to Baltimore Harbor many times. And the bridge collapsed, sending several people and vehicles into the water — into the river.

And the press just nodded along whilst knowing that the Francis Scott Key Bridge, built nearly 50 years ago, never had train tracks on it and wasn’t ever part of Joe’s route. 

And yet the Democrats wonder why Joe’s poll numbers are so bad.

Yes, those poll numbers are big red flags. However, the crowd that will fete Obama and Clinton tonight are those same voters who have as their priorities, Preserving Democracy, Climate Change, and Gun Control. Abortion is in there somewhere as well even if the topic wasn’t raised during the poll.  

This is why the Biden Campaign is bringing in the big guns so early. Literally everything that Joe does or says is an abject failure. They built this and now they’ll have to try to drag him over the finish line once again. 

Two final thoughts on this. One, will this move garner any actual VOTES? Secondly, it’s a bit laughable to see that the big draws are Barak Obama and BILL Clinton. Not Hillary.
