Evidently acceptable journalism means NOT reporting facts that the liberals at Twitter don’t like. The NY Post found that out once again yesterday.
It was great while it lasted.
Twitter once again locked out The Post on Thursday in a stunning replay of the epic blunder the social media giant admittedly made over the revelation of Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop.
The company’s Kafkaesque move came after The Post tweeted out a story about Twitter’s deletion of more than 5,000 tweets about a planned “Trans Day of Vengeance” protest in front of the US Supreme Court on Saturday.
It prevented The Post from posting any tweets to its main account, which has 2.8 million followers.
The suppression of The Post came even as multiple other news outlets have reported on Twitter’s decision to scrub tweets and retweets that featured an image promoting Saturday’s event.
Wow. Bold move by Twitter even as the scrutiny of the same has a very VERY big spotlight shining on it! What was so problematic? Why just the NY Post reporting that Twitter is scrubbing tweets about a planned protest named the Trans Day Of Vengeance.
Twitter has removed thousands of tweets about a “Trans Day of Vengeance” protest set for Saturday outside the US Supreme Court, drawing outrage from conservatives who have also been sharing the event poster to condemn the demonstration.
Ella Irwin, Twitter’s head of trust and safety, said in a tweet Wednesday that the company automatically removed upwards of 5,000 tweets and retweets of a poster promoting the event.
“We do not support tweets that incite violence irrespective of who posts them. ‘Vengeance’ does not imply peaceful protest. Organizing or support for peaceful protests is ok,” Irwin wrote.
Yet because those organizers were insistent that the protests, which are still planned for Saturday are only going to be ‘vehemently peaceful’ liberals at Twitter dove into full, protect the transgender agenda mode.
Except the NY Post, and many others including Luke Rosiak of The Daily Wire and Sean Davis at The Federalist were only REPORTING about this planned protest. Are members of the media only allowed to report that which fits the chosen narrative and agenda? Evidently so. Oh wait, it’s ok if the LIBERAL media reports about this, but any media such as The Daily Wire, The Federalist, or the NY Post is a problem.
This is the second time in nearly three years that Twitter has arbitrarily locked the NY Post out of their social media account. As they wrote and we reported on multiple times, the NY Post was locked out of Twitter for daring to publish sourced and credible reports regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop. That ban happened just mere weeks before the election. Twitter suppressed and throttled, with the help of Facebook, reports about the Hunter Biden laptop and the data within.
But suddenly, last summer, other major media organizations reported that ‘hey! the laptop and data on it were real!’ It’s ok when THEY report it, just not the rest of us.
The same is true now. It’s ok when our media is pandering to the transgender agenda and treating THEM as the victims of the Covenant school tragedy instead of putting the blame where it belongs. On the shooter who made the choice for whatever reason to shoot up a school. Instead, reporting on a planned protest gets one banned.
I had high hopes for Twitter under Elon Musk’s watch. After all, how could the tech giant get any worse after banning the New York Post, which was founded by Alexander Hamilton himself, for the crime of reporting on possible corruption of the family of a leading presidential candidate in the middle of a close election?
We now have an answer: by banning conservative Christians for reporting on the horrific mass shooting perpetrated by an apparent “trans” person who hated conservative Christians so much she stormed a Christian school in Nashville, opened fire, and murdered three 9-year-old children and three adult staff.
The Trans Day Of Vengeance protest planned for tomorrow IS news no matter who reports it. It was THAT organization that chose to use those specific words as their ‘theme’ for the event. That’s on them and should not have anyone let alone the media get banned for mentioning or reporting on it.
Furthermore, if we do report on this and point out that people who are or are possibly identifying as transgender have committed these crimes, we are vilified as right-wingers who want to incite further violence against transgenders themselves.
Marginalized? Trans are featured in TV commercials, movies, and are the faces of women's products. They are in fact far overrepresented.

Oh yea, SO marginalized that fake Barbie Dylan Mulvaney now has a boatload of endorsements so he can keep spinning and twirling with his fake woman crap.

As I noted yesterday afternoon, the Democrat media complex wants to have the transgender community be the victims in all of this. Except that we don’t know that the Covenant school shooter really was transgender.
That hasn’t stopped the liberals at Twitter from still policing narratives that they don’t like. Which led to the NY Post being locked out again, and then restored several hours later.
Seriously Twitter?

Locking out the NY Post?

Elon, exactly WHO is in charge over there?

Given the control Google has over searches on the Internet, much of what we can find on Internet cannot be trusted. That will only change if Conservative stop using Internet tools and social media controlled by Liberal Democrat Marxists, and we must stop before our government eliminates other options.
OK, I will play devil’s advocate here. I wonder if the tweet had obscured the graphic so many people are passing around, if it might have made a difference? Would blurring the date or location make a difference to them? I could see an argument that by reproducing the graphic in full (which is what Twitter banned that account for, it seems) you’re actually promoting the event instead of simply speaking against it or reporting on it.
It’s not a really good argument, but I could see the point in it.
In several ways, Elon is between the proverbial rock and hard place. He has to provide some way to report genuinely problematic tweets, but I can’t think of a single way to do that so the process can’t be manipulated for censorship.
Twitter almost certainly still has elements of the old pro-Stalinist regime still embedded.
The banning of the Post here is likely done by some of those.
The difference here vs. the last time? (And listed in the NY Post article on this?) The Post’s account was restored at 8PM the same day.
There are definitely problems still at Twitter, but this lockout was nothing compared to the pre-2020 election lockout.
