Student protests have escalated into widespread riots in France with schools set on fire and teachers beaten and doused in petrol.

This is my shocked face that the Left, when it doesn’t get what it wants, resorts to violence. Even Macron’s anemic government who hasn’t seen patriotic Frenchman they couldn’t smear as “far-right”, suddenly has found out that the Left may be the problem here.

French intelligence agencies told a government crisis meeting Thursday that the protest movement had been initiated by politicians from the hard-left France Unbowed Party, known as LFI, Reuters reported Friday.

The Euro Left has been behind the mass migration of non-Western interlopers for years while claiming “assimilation” is racist and there’s no such thing as “white culture.”

Indeed, France has been relentless in its coddling of migrants hostile to Western norms.

A Muslim teenager who took part in the religiously motivated gang rape of a 12-year-old Jewish girl has had his sentence reduced.

The rapist, 13 at the time, was one of two teenage boys who committed the crime in Courbevoie on June 15 last year.

But last week, the Versailles Court of Appeal lowered the sentence from nine years to seven, citing the need to prepare the youth for “reintegration” into society.

Yet the real worry of these riots is that it strengthens Trump’s case.

(T)his week’s high school protests, with fires set at schools across the country and social media videos showing a female police officer chased down by youths and kicked on the ground, a gray-haired professor beaten for trying to stop acts of arson and a woman burned in the face with an impromptu flamethrower do not make for a good look.

At a time that an indignant Europe has pushed back against warnings from President Donald Trump that the continent faces “civilizational erasure” because of mass immigration and unsupportable welfare states, the images from a country aspiring to European leadership do not make a strong case for the defense.

The riots have again brought immigration to the fore of the debate with many students of African and Arab origin among the protesters. But there are plenty of white French students protesting too. As French birth rates have fallen, there are simply a higher proportion of students of immigrant origin.

See? Don’t notice that replacing the French population with Africans and Arabs might be a problem. Erasing native French is of no concern and certainly not a conspiracy.
