As we awaken on Independence Day, thanking God for our lives, our families, our freedoms and our coffee, there is a group of the Woke Moms Club who is stewing and even more miserable than usual.

Take this example from Libs of TikTok. This woke mama is canceling the Fourth of July for her kids. Why? Because her right to abort any further children has been stripped away!

She told her husband. I can see it unfolding in this woke mama’s household now: “Don’t you dare go to that fireworks stand and buy little sparklers for junior. If I see you or him outside engaging in any of the sort with our neighbors, I’ll go on a sex strike.”

I mean, the post is almost a parody but one can be 100% certain if it is or not. Why? Because the clan of woke has become a parody unto itself.

Now, could this be someone trolling or making fun of the left? Sure. If this is a satire post, and the line is blurry when discussing liberals and their politics, then it’s a good one. The scenario here might be fake, but it is very much a real one with the left regarding this case, July 4th, and how they all react to bad news. The entertaining quality here is that they’re a joke. They’ve become a punchline—and they don’t even know it. You know there are liberal families who hate this holiday and are using Dobbs to be glum. Amazon workers wanted a work stoppage over the ruling.”-Matt Vespa, Town Hall

To be completely honest, I do not think this is a troll. Living in a very blue state, I can attest to seeing a renouncement of the Red, White and Blue and anything having to do with patriotism. I mean, heck, Google has even chosen their banner for the day: Red, white and blue with the colors of the transgender flag running behind cute little BBQs and dancing fireworks. Try it yourself. They’re not even being subtle anymore. That dancing popsicle ain’t gonna lick itself.

Not gonna happen. I know Canadians who are here in the States who will continue to whine about how this country has gone to hell in a hand basket while lamenting on their motherland but…have they gone back yet? (I think you know the answer to this question).

I love seeing activist parents behaving like this. They're all but ensuring that their kids are going to rebel against them & leave them behind as soon as they discover people that enjoy life.

We can only hope. I remember, a few years back, when I lived next to a “Karen” who did not allow her kids to participate in summer water-gun fights because “no guns”. They would be sitting in the house while the rest of the neighborhood kids were in my driveway drenching one another with super soakers. If that does not scar a child, I do not know what else will. She also, after the event, claimed one of the kids “dinged” her car. (It was a parking lot dent.) I mean, it is completely exhausting living next to people like this. It must be completely soul-sucking to be married to them. I honestly wonder what they think when they look in the mirror. I gleefully held more water gun fights in my driveway for the rest of that summer. She moved the following year, thank God.

The tragedy is that these woke parents actually believe they are doing what is best for their children. Imagine telling your child that you are not celebrating Fourth of July because you somehow think being American has something to do with having the right to murder an innocent baby. Seriously, what a miserable existence for that family.

Let’s not even mention the life lesson this “birthing person” is teaching her children. The “I’m going to sit around and whine about something until I get my way” mentality will fare her children well as adults. It’s no wonder we have socially awkward, whiny brats in the workplace. They get it from their parents.

My guess is this woman is a suburban white chick. My guess is that she doesn’t feel the same way about bodily autonomy when the subject of COVID vaccinations surfaces. She’s probably triple, quadruple vaxxed and ran her kids out to get the jab as soon as it was available to them because “she follows the science like a good and smart and compliant comrade”. She probably has one of those stupid “we believe therefore, we are better than you” signs in her yard. Seriously, I hope one of her neighbors has a runaway firecracker that torches that thing. (Is it wrong to hope the nice keeps her up all night?)

Independence Day is also a great day to celebrate the reality that so many children will now be free to pursue life, liberty and happiness because a decision has been overturned that would have continued to take their lives away when they could not and even beg for mercy.

Nope. The woke mamas of the United States of America will sit and sulk. So many innocent children will not be killed. They’ll give the stink-eyes from their front porches as they mix up their blue hair-coloring and sip their White Claws between their mask breaks.

The cries of the unborn are louder this Independence Day. Let them snivel. I, for one, will be celebrating this victory. Happy wife, happy life. Hashtag, Blessed.
