According to North Carolina Democrat Shelly Headen, “decency is on the ballot.” Well, as we are finding out, Shelly’s definition of “decency” involves wanting MAGA supporters killed, or put into the ovens at Dachau.

Shelly Headed is running for a state House seat in North Carolina’s 62nd District. Her campaign mantra includes the word “fairness.”

Thus, in the name of fairness and decency, we find out that Shelly has a long history of being virulently vocal against MAGA supporters and conservatives on her social media pages. In 2024 once Kamala was crowned the front-runner against Trump, this was Shelly’s response. 

“I’m so excited!! Ready for the MAGA’s to die off!”

That was just two years ago. She sure seems nice, doesn’t she? Now she’s running for a state house seat. One Republicans have been keeping a close eye on.

A Democrat running in a competitive state legislative race has a history of inflammatory social posts, including some calling for violence against supporters of President Donald Trump.

Within hours of an Assembly inquiry to state party leaders, a spokesman for the House Democratic caucus said the group will no longer support Shelly Headen, an accountant from Oak Ridge looking to unseat Republican state Rep. John Blust of Guilford County.

Headen said in an interview that she recalls writing several anti-Trump posts, but not the specific language she used. “I can’t remember what I’ve posted,” she said. “I’ve been very vocal against MAGA.”

She said she paid $30,000 for a consulting firm to comb through her social media accounts for possible concerns.

I do have to laugh at the notion that she doesn’t remember any of her anti-MAGA screeds she’s posted on social media. The problem with that assertion is that I can guarantee she was watching her posts and getting a kick out of reading all the comments while hoping her ‘likes’ numbers climb.

Whomever the consulting firm was that she paid $30,000 to did as bad a vetting job as the one hired to vet Graham Platner. They either scrolled right on by, not thinking any of her posts were concerning, or … wanting MAGA supporters to die off or be placed in the ovens at Dachau is something THEY agreed with as well.

North Carolina Democrat state legislative candidate Shelly Headen posted a Facebook story from a vacation showing her in front of ovens in a German concentration camp memorial, saying, “Visiting Dauchau [sic] Concentration Camp in Germany… This is where Trump supporters belong.”

Posting that while standing in front of ovens where Nazis murdered nearly 50,000 people is definitely not decency. It is cruel. It is evil.

This is Shelly Headen, Democrat running for NC House District 62.

She toured Dachau, a Nazi death camp, smiled in front of the ovens, and posted:

“This is where Trump supporters belong.”

Keep in mind, this was a FB post of hers from over a year ago. She left it up, and people got screen shots of it. Which tells me she was totally comfortable with vomiting up that evil desire.

Well, once her posts became VERY public, the Democrats who supported her are running for the hills, with Roy Cooper in the lead.

On September 10, the one-year anniversary of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, Democrat Senate candidate Roy Cooper wrote on X, “Political violence has absolutely no place in our country. Full stop. On the anniversary of Charlie Kirk’s murder, we remember the importance of civil debate and reject the unconscionable violence that has become far too common in our society.”

Following a media inquiry from Breitbart News, a Cooper campaign spokesperson said of the Headen news:

“These remarks are reprehensible — Roy strongly condemns them and all forms of political violence and he believes it’s up to all of us to speak responsibly.”

The North Carolina Democrat party is now scrambling to cover their ass on this.

The Guilford County Democratic Party is withdrawing its support for a statehouse candidate after inflammatory social media posts she made resurfaced.

In a statement, party officials said they “unequivocally reject and condemn” posts by Shelly Headen, the Democratic nominee for North Carolina House District 62.

The posts include comments about an attack on some conservative states and suggest violence could be more effective than peaceful protest.

The party said the comments “violate everything our party represents.”

I’d bet money that there were some in the NC Democrat party apparatus who knew of her comments and posts, and decided that was the kind of decency and fairness they wanted.

For Shelly Headen, decency and fairness includes wishing death on MAGA and hoping to get anyone supporting President Trump shipped off to Dachau to be put in the ovens. That’s not decency nor fairness by any stretch of the definition.

By doing so, Shelly Headen is belittling and demeaning the atrocities of the Nazi-run concentration camps. Furthermore, her rhetoric is encouraging violence. Yet, according to Shelly, SHE is the victim in all of this now that the Democrats are running away from her campaign.

“I’ve sacrificed myself just like Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross, and Martin Luther King and Abraham Lincoln and all the people that put themselves out there to sacrifice for our country,” she said. “If a few angry moments on social media are the end, then so be it. MAGA will keep winning if we continue with not standing up for what’s right.”

Oh there’s more than a few angry moments to be found.

Democrat Shelly Headen who is “Running to Restore Human Decency” just posted that she wants an attack on US soil.

It is unclear whether Shelly would prefer ISIS or China to attack the United States, but it’s clear she wants an attack.

The kicker is this. Because of the timing, Shelly’s name is still on the ballot for that House race. The NC Democrat party brought this upon themselves. They need to own it. And Shelly needs to lose that race.
