Not Socialist enough says AOC! The down ticket Democrat races didn’t win because of that and their lack of competence.

“The real problem, said Ocasio-Cortez, was that the party lacked “core competencies” to run campaigns.

“There’s a reason Barack Obama built an entire national campaign apparatus outside of the Democratic National Committee,” she told the Times’ Astead Herndon. “And there’s a reason that when he didn’t activate or continue that, we lost House majorities. Because the party – in and of itself – does not have the core competencies, and no amount of money is going to fix that.”

Ocasio-Cortez, who defeated a longtime Democratic politician in 2018 and who won re-election in her Bronx district by more than 50 points, endorsed the Vermont senator, Bernie Sanders, over Joe Biden in the Democratic presidential primary.”

Well, that’ll certainly win her friends in the House and Senate! 

Two things before I dissect her assertions. 

1. As any sentient being knows, AOC’s district is so heavily Democrat she’d win without campaigning AT ALL.
2. Several of the others who she points out as examples of competency – ALSO had nearly zero challenge to deal with, including her fellow Squad members. 

Those facts aren’t relevant according to AOC. The Democrats who’ve been in their districts for one or more terms, who couldn’t pull out a win, should’ve followed her socialist agenda and life among those down ticket Dems would be hunky dory. 

Yes, I suffered through that, and managed to not break things, barely. AOC has declared herself as the one that knows all when it comes to how political races should be run. She’s set herself up as the lecturing know it all newly hired employee who tells the boss with thirty years experience that…’you’re doing it all wrong.’ 

Why? Because as she tells Jake Tapper, those down ticket races who lost should’ve been MOAR socialist in stance and pushed harder for defunding the police.

Never mind that Abigail Spanberger in VA nearly (and should’ve) lost her race to Nick Freitas because socialism and defunding the police was bad, and never mind that seats were flipped all the way down ticket in large part BECAUSE voters recognized that both were detrimental to us all… Oh NO! AOC is here to tell Democrat rubes how to run and win races. 

So the whole “progressivism is bad” argument just doesn’t have any compelling evidence that I’ve seen.

When it comes to “Defund” & “Socialism” attacks, people need to realize these are racial resentment attacks. You’re not gonna make that go away. You can make it less effective.

And on this hand-wringing about slight POC increases for GOP in some areas – this is also an area w answers.

But honestly when it comes to Latinos the party’s just never seriously made an effort. Mexicans, Central Am, Caribbean, Chicanos – Cubans are not the only impt community

SLIGHT increases for GOP among POC in some areas??!! There are three major counties in Texas, significantly Hispanic, that went full Republican after decades of Democrat votes. There are cases of that all across the country, but AOC is spinning that as …minor. How insulting that is for her to assume that this swing was just a minor blip. It truly shows how embedded she is on her Progressive socialist agenda that she ignores the forest and the trees of reality.

But HEY! The reason Democrats didn’t perform well is because they rejected Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “help.” 

“In one of the most surprising portions of the interview, an evidently exasperated Ocasio-Cortez revealed that most swing state Democrats rejected her offer of help in their campaigns. “I offered to help every single swing district Democrat with their operation. And every single one of them, but five, refused my help,” she said. “And all five of the vulnerable or swing district people that I helped secured victory or are on a path to secure victory. And every single one that rejected my help is losing. And now they’re blaming us for their loss.””

Keep in mind, these interviews that AOC has conducted within the last few days show something that many are overlooking. Because of real vote performance among minorities for Republicans, Democrats are worried about the future and realize a socialist agenda is hurting more than it is helping. 

Connor Lamb, whom she called out by name, pushed back. He’s not a fan and likely never will be.

Therefore AOC knows all, and is here to tell down ticket Democrats, that it’s YOUR FAULT you didn’t let me help! We already know she’s all about making lists of Trump supporters, and the Biden campaign is too chicken to disavow her for it. Furthermore, she is now stepping up to the plate and lecturing the Biden Campaign on who should and shouldn’t be be in the possible Administration. 

Rahm Emanuel does NOT make the cut according to AOC’s rules.

So if Rahm isn’t good enough, then his brother Zeke ’75 is the best time to die’ Emanuel shouldn’t be good enough either. 

Amazingly, National Review’s Kyle Smith tells us that this election essentially means Progressivism is dead.

“The country will have chosen to remove President Trump while asking that America otherwise continue on its present course, steady as she goes: no rethink of the energy industry, of health care, of capitalism, no vast new scheme to combat inequality, no federal bailout of the fiscally profligate blue states. The Democrats will have been given the presidency and warned not to do anything much with it.”

No Kyle, it isn’t anywhere near dead. It has moved to just below the surface, and is still bubbling and brewing its toxicity, just waiting for that right time and place for it’s fearless leader AOC to shove Biden into socialism for all she’s worth.
