The long-awaited appearance of Tucker Carlson on Twitter happened last night and the media is claiming he’s gone full tinfoil hat mode.
“Tucker on Twitter” launched last night with a report on the blown Kakhovka dam in southern Ukraine, which got the heads spinning:
Many people assumed it was President Vladimir Putin who ordered the dam be blown up. Oh, but that is where you are wrong, Mr. and Mrs. Cable News Consumer.”-Tucker Carlson
Oh, boy. Here we go:
The far-right former Fox News anchor opened the next act of his career with a pro-Kremlin rant claiming that it was “obvious” Ukrainian forces were responsible for the destruction of the Kakhovka dam on Tuesday.”-Io Dodds, The Independent
Translation: the term, “far-right” is anybody who does not follow the story as spoon-fed to viewers by CNN, MSNBC, et al. I don’t believe anything the mainstream media throws out there. Does this mean I’m a far-right, “nazi” (hate that word), too? Or am I just “right”? Nah. In their eyes, “far right” and “right” are one and the same. Anyone who opposes flaunting abortion as birth control and doesn’t believe in trans-ing Kindergarteners is part of the vast, right-wing conspiracy. Being a Christian these days makes you “far-right”. Not putting your pronouns on your signature line because to most, it is obvious what gender you belong to, is “far-right”. Thinking our current guy and some of our democrats in government office are inept is “far-right” thinking. All of these things, in progressive, liberal Disneyland makes me (and you, for that matter) “far right”. We’re bigots. Racists. Fascists. Throw in a few more hateful adjectives here. Those in “far-right” land are the deplorable, despicable people who deserve to be taken to the gallows and wiped off the face of this planet Earth.
Moving on to Tucker Carlson’s raving reviews from The Independent‘s Io Dodds:
He referred to Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky as ‘sweaty and rat-like’, ‘a persecutor of Christians’, and in bed with American investment bankers.”-Io Dodds
(GASP!) I mean, in bed with investment bankers? He may not be wrong here. How much did Santa Biden slip Zelensky before he slipped down the stairs? And, c’mon, man, we can all follow the Biden money train.
Tucker was not done. He went on to trash George W. Bush likening Zelensky to Winston Churchill. (Not even close.) He mentioned Lindsay Graham and Nikki Haley for being seemingly unable to articulate why the U.S. should back Ukraine.
Tucker also talked UFOs and conspiracy theories.
There were no guests or produced segments — only a monologue from Mr. Carlson, in which he hit some familiar themes. He expressed sympathy for President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia and mocked President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine. He accused the mainstream media of lying. He wrapped up by declaring that U.F.O.s and extraterrestrial life are ‘actually real.'”-Katie Robertson and Jeremy W. Peters, The New York Times
The New York Times, is also hurt. Tucker accused the media of lying. (Pass the Kleenex…)
What’s happened to the hundreds of billions of US dollars we’ve sent to Ukraine? No clue. Who organised those Black Lives Matter riots three years ago? No one’s gotten to the bottom of that.
So if you are wondering why our country seems so dysfunctional, this is a big part of the reason. Nobody knows what’s happening.
A small group of people control access to all relevant information, and the rest of us don’t know.'”-Tucker Carlson
Well, being in the dark on alien life forms may not exactly be why our country seems so dysfunctional. Surely, the liberals will spin Tucker’s UFO theories back on tinfoil conspiracy (even though they’re the party of “science” and believe there are lifeforms far more intelligent than we are “out there”). They will say he is not in “reality” and will say his far-right mind is completely out of control but, clearly, have you looked at some of our messaging from the mainstream media? The same mainstream outlets who are telling families that damaging hormones and surgeries are to the benefit of pre-pubescent children? The same mainstream outlets who told us we were going to kill a bunch of people if we went to work, kept our businesses open, and sent our kids to school but encouraged us to “protest” in the streets? The same mainstream outlets that tell us our President is “full of vitality“? I would argue that our country is dysfunctional because of the one-sided news we do hear and the multitude of misinformed individuals who buy what they are selling.
New day, same old dailybeast drivel

We are the ones who live in ignorance now,” Carlson said. “Secrecy is a powerful tool of control.”
Amen.
As of today we have come to Twitter, which we hope will be the short wave radio under the blankets. We’re told there are no gatekeepers here. If that turns out to be false, we’ll leave. But in the meantime, we’re grateful to be here.”-Tucker Carlson
That Tucker video is bleak. It’s jarring how his schtick just does not work without the Fox bells-and-whistles. He was maybe the most powerful man in rw media; now he’s just another streamer with half-baked opinions peddling conspiracy theories. He’s Alex Jones in jacket and tie.

Millions disagree, Matt. Time will tell but the response to Carlson’s short, inaugural Twitter broadcast was quite favorable with viewers. Ummm…what did AOC say about the successes of de-platforming, again? Her predictions are about as good as her economics smarts.

I love this so much!!
Carlson has always been a big fan of Putin and for strange reasons many paleocons are too. Come to think of it Donald Trump was praising him (Putin) back in 2016.
