Trump vs. The Deep State, Obstruction of Justice

This morning, before 8:00 a.m. EDT, President Donald J. Trump sent out a tweet regarding the latest charge against him as spread by D.C. Deep State rumor mill. As reported by Reuters.com and ABC News, Special Counsel Robert Mueller is investigating President Trump for Obstruction of Justice.

In response to:

Oof, right?

Let’s go to the videotape:

From the Reuters article:

The obstruction of justice investigation into Trump began days after Comey was fired on May 9, according to people familiar with the matter, the Washington Post said.

Dan Coats, the director of national intelligence, Mike Rogers, the head of the National Security Agency, and Richard Ledgett, the former deputy director at the NSA, had agreed to be interviewed by Mueller’s investigators as early as this week, the Post said. It cited five people briefed on the requests who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Okay so, Trump obstructed justice, allegedly, by firing James Comey to stop the investigation into Trump colluding with Russia or Russian interfering in the 2016 Presidential Election, right? No, um, that cannot be right. The wheels of the machinery of the FBI keep turning no matter who is Director. The acting FBI Director Andrew G. McCabe testified to this on May 11, 2017. The Intercept reported:

Contrary to reporting in the New York Times and Washington Post that Comey’s firing had followed a request from him for more resources to work on the Russia investigation, McCabe said that the FBI had what it needed, and that its work would continue unimpeded. He did not say specifically whether or not the FBI had asked for more prosecutors.

The FBI had “what it needed” and “its work would continue unimpeded”. That’s pretty clear.

Now, I do not own a tin foil hat. I have not seen black helicopters fly around my house (Lifestar, yes). I do not believe in conspiracies. I do, however, believe in entrenched interests protecting their own.

I love the modern conveniences that big corporations bring to our lives and I believe in our Republican form of government. But, you want to talk about collusion? The EPA shakes down corporations to fund left wing environmentalist groups. The Department of Justice has a slush fund for left wing groups.. While he was Secretary of State, John Kerry’s daughter’s group was bankrolled by contracts.

The levers of power have given these people access to contacts and money. Senators, representatives and those who work for various agencies direct contracts and funds to their friends and family. These are the entrenched interests or the Deep State or the Swamp. Those who have the power both Democrats and Republicans will not let go easily. Clinton Global Initiative, anyone?

The people at the levers of power didn’t know that we, the people, had figured it all out. We know. It’s not the wealthy keeping people down. It’s the ruling class. By the way, the book “The Ruling Class” by Angelo Codevilla is an excellent book and quick read.

No matter whether you call it the Swamp, The Deep State, Entrenched Interests or the Ruling Class, those at the levers of power are determined to take down Donald Trump. Collusion, Russian Interference or Obstruction of Justice, any charge will do. The Deep State Strikes Back.

Yeah, as a close friend to Comey, Mueller was a very poor choice to run this. Just like the BS lawsuit filed by the dims ( including the ones from here in Colorado) None of this has anything to do with justice, or the Constitution, it’s all about de-legitimizing President Trump (leading to things like yesterdays shooting?) and holding up his agenda to drain the swamp.. Voters should take note of every clown that signed that lawsuit, and send them packing next election cycle!

Yes its the Establishment, TPTB & MSM.
I have wrote the President a few times requesting that he go to the people us directly and identify for all of us who in the Republican Party is working against him. The fact that the Rep Party has repeatedly either not acted/defended him or deliberately sandbagged policy points of Trump (see healthcare, the border wall) means that in the Rep party is Establishment people (Deep State) or idiots with higher political aspirations than they currently have (ex. possibly Ryan).
We (conservatives for lack of a better term) are in a very real state of trouble. The Libs/MSM/TPTB have succeeded in radicalizing many of their people. Radicalizing leads to events such as the shooting. We have seen the violence of the radicalization of the libs in damage to property, people attacked at Trump events and so on. This is the new norm? This is what we just have to get use to?
How real is the fact of bad behavior by libs? I’m afraid to put a Trump bumper sticker and Limbaugh magnet on my car.
