According to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Iran wants a new revised, but same deal, only this one is a new reimagined deal.

Iran’s foreign minister said Thursday that Tehran had proposed to Washington a seven-day plan to cease hostilities, reopen the Strait of Hormuz and then begin comprehensive talks on his country’s nuclear program.

Abbas Araghchi, the foreign minister, told reporters at a press briefing at the United Nations General Assembly that the proposal closely mirrored the commitments laid out in a so-called memorandum of understanding that was struck between the United States and Iran in June but quickly unraveled.

He said Iran was ready to begin putting the plan into effect as soon as Washington agreed to it.

“We have introduced a plan to the United States through the intermediators that if certain conditions are met, the Strait of Hormuz would be open on the end of the seventh day and talks would restart,” Mr. Araghchi said.

He said “it would be better,” if a deal was reached before the U.S. midterm elections.

Well, isn’t that interesting? Pezeshkian told the UN in his address on Wednesday that they are just totally misunderstood. That they’ve always wanted peace, and don’t want to deal with bullies… meaning the United States.

Hamas and Hezbollah have already conducted individual attacks, one of which has gravely injured the son of Israel’s ambassador to the U.S., Yechiel Leiter.

As the world knows, Hamas is fully funded by Iran. Where does Hamas reside? Gaza. You connect the dots.

So for Iran to come sliming in like Gollum and asking for a new deal, great. Let’s give it to them…as long as WE hold all the cards.

Which leads me to Iran’s nuclear aspirations. According to President Pezeshkian, anything regarding their nuclear program should be regarded as “peaceful.” 

Pezeshkian on Thursday said the country has a right to develop “peaceful nuclear technologies” and repeated Tehran’s long-standing claim that it would not seek nuclear weapons.

It is unclear whether the Iranian proposal will meet current U.S. demands to end the war. Araghchi said it was similar to the memorandum of understanding the sides agreed upon in June. But Tehran interpreted that deal as giving Iran control over the strait, the chokepoint through which one-fifth to a quarter of the world’s oil ordinarily flows, a condition the United States and its allies in the region have rejected.

Uh huh… pull the other leg Bucko and see what that gets you. It’s well known that Iran’s nuke program has anything but peaceful aspirations. Th0se that believe Iran are Democrats, Code Pink, most of the people at the UN, and all the terrorists that Iran funds. What’s even more laughable is that Iran claims they are open to inspections of their nuke program.

Asked point-blank during an exclusive interview on Fox News’ “Special Report,” “Do you want a nuclear bomb or not?” Pezeshkian firmly rejected the premise.

“Not at all. Not at all. Our martyred, esteemed supreme leader had announced several times that from a religious decree, it is unholy. It is illegal,” he told Brett Baier, referencing religious edicts issued against weapons of mass destruction.

Which makes one wonder, if it was such a peaceful nuke program in the past, why all the secrecy? Why not let inspectors in then? The late Ayatollah was in on the ‘hide the evidence game’ from the beginning.

As for his son, Mojtaba, evidently he’s alive and kicking. Sort of. Maybe.

Iran’s response totally brings me back to the Biden Administration. He’s fine. He’s totally fine. That cardboard cutout is the real person, why can’t you see and understand that??!!

If you read the captions closely, you’ll see that President Pezeshkian runs circles around the question and we are left with nothing but hot air. Very political of him. Which also tells me that Mojtaba is either dead or totally incapacitated.

For Iran to bang their shoe on the podium, but then come hat in hand asking for essentially the same deal as they had in June… The country is in a bind. One of their own making.

While they are hoping that the midterms end badly for Trump, it seems they are also realizing the results of their own arrogance.

In fact, their hubris also led Iran’s President to claim that THEY are the ones who are victims of terrorism.

So which is it? Does Iran want a deal, or is this another layer of the game they are playing? The President of Iran is claiming that his country wants the new/old deal. He claims that Mojtaba is fully functional.

That’s the billion dollar question. Who is actually in charge in Iran? I’d say that question needs to be answered in writing and in person before any deal is considered.
