Trump Indictment To Teach MAGAts A Lesson

The tweet above is not about the Trump Indictment yesterday. That tweet is from the early days of Impeachment 1.0. Donald Trump may have come down an escalator, but the rest of us have been on a roller coaster ride. One of those super fast, loop the loop roller coasters and the ride has been eight years, so far, not two minutes. I get that many Americans are exhausted by Trump and all the mishegas that comes with him. I am exhausted, also, but by the corruption displayed on an almost hourly basis by the Democrat Media Industrial Complex. I get it. There are days I want to give up the politics stuff and sit and watch my dog dig and my vegetables grow. But, I can’t. This isn’t about Donald Trump, and if we get rid of Trump, they are going to go after DeathSantis or whoever even harder. They will because we have shown our weakness. Trust. The Trump Indictment isn’t about Trump at all, it’s about us MAGAts.

This morning I was watching Newsmax (Awful with a Capital Off) because my Congressman Tim Burchett was going to be on with former Senator Rick Santorum. Santorum actually said that the Trump Indictment is because Trump brings it on himself. Yeah, that’ll “learn” him from running! The victim blaming was shameful.

The people who are meant to learn from this is the peasants who don’t bend the knee. We are the MAGAts. If you voted for Trump, even holding your nose and crossing your fingers and toes, you are a MAGAt. StayHipp has some helpful words:

The Brief: A MAGAT is someone who strongly believes in extremely conservative political beliefs that tend to be affiliated with bigotry.

DEEP DIVE
Coined from Donald Trump’s infamous political slogan MAGA (Make America Great Again), a MAGAT is a socially-derogatory term towards a devoted Trump supporter that is totally consumed by the ideas that represent their counterpart’s bigotry. It’s typically used to make fun of die-hard Trump stans.

“Stans”, hardly, most of us are not 14 to 19 years of age. If you are a Conservative, you are a MAGAt. Sorry, you cannot cleanse yourself of the fragrance by voting for Asa Hutchinson. Just kidding. No one is going to vote for Asa Hutchinson.

If for some benighted reason, you still think the Trump Indictment is about Trump and not about you, behold:

You EXTREME MAGA, you. Jordan Boyd over at The Federalist says it’s about eliminating WRONGTHINK, and she is absolutely correct:

If muddled questions of personal or campaign payments were truly criminal matters, campaign finance offenders like failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama would have faced some punishment. Instead, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, encouraged by corporate media and Democrats who fear a second Trump term, revived a case that several DOJ officials previously declined to pursue.
If rallying rioters on Twitter was really an indictable offense, Vice President Kamala Harris should have faced punishment for raising bail money for vandals and rioters during the 2020 summer of rage. Instead, Smith is expected to come up with a crime to punish Trump for his constitutionally protected speech on January 6, 2021.
If taking documents home from the White House is a crime, then the DOJ would have launched a criminal probe into Biden and his classified documents the moment they were discovered. Instead, the DOJ concocted a reason to launch an unprecedented raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, followed by an unprecedented legal case.

She’s just talking about the recent excrement. Remember the “Peepee Tape“? The Steel Dossier. Fine people on both sides. None of it was true. Impeachment 1.0 and Impeachment 2.0? They were Banana Republic stunts. January 6 Fedesurrection? I could keep going.

More from Jordan:

To put it simply, the cases against Trump are rigged to look successful for the left. In reality, they are actually quite weak. But that doesn’t mean they won’t bite. That’s because the real reason for the indictment frenzy isn’t about holding politicians accountable. It’s not even just about Trump. It’s about his voters and what they believe.
Under the auspices of taking out their number one enemy, the deep state has set its sights on dissenters like you and it’s not backing down.

Every time Democrats’ and their cronies hand down an impeachment or indictment of Trump, they are really indicting you. It sounds provocative, but it’s true.
Preventing Trump from taking the White House was always the left’s top priority. As evidenced by the Democrats’ prosecutions over the last year, this goal has not changed. Unfortunately, the left’s persecution won’t stop with Trump.
How do we know? Because Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who just announced his Republican presidential campaign last month, faces coordinated smears from corporate media, attacks from the White House podium, and potentially even “criminal charges” from partisan officials.
DeSantis’ presidential run may have only been possible because of the populist brand Trump harnessed in 2016 but he’s made it clear that he’s not Trump. So why would “get Trump” Democrats and their allies in the corporate media complex feel so threatened by him that they have already begun to act?

Five minutes after Trump is gone from the race, the Democrats will be going after “DeathSantis” the same exact way. But, you say, Ron DeSantis isn’t guilty of anything as Trump is. Pfffft. Neither was Trump. Remove your head from the sand, sugars. DeSantis and then Pence. Poor Pence, he won’t see it coming. He thinks his devout Christianity will protect him. Bah. He likes babies to live. The Democrat Media Industrial Complex can do a lot with that.

A retired Navy Chief has been indicted, according to the NY Post:

Former President Donald Trump said Friday that one of his personal aides had also been indicted in special counsel Jack Smith’s classified documents probe — hours after Trump’s now-former attorney claimed a prosecutor “extorted” one of the aide’s lawyers.
“I have just learned that the ‘Thugs’ from the Department of Injustice will be Indicting a wonderful man, Walt Nauta, a member of the U.S. Navy, who served proudly with me in the White House, retired as Senior Chief, and then transitioned into private life as a personal aide,” Trump, 76, wrote on Truth Social. “He has done a fantastic job! They are trying to destroy his life, like the lives of so many others, hoping that he will say bad things about ‘Trump.’ He is strong, brave, and a Great Patriot. The FBI and DOJ are CORRUPT!”
In a CNN interview Thursday night, James Trusty claimed prosecutor Jay Bratt had threatened to sink Nauta attorney Stanley Woodward’s application for a federal judgeship.

Speaking of James Trusty, he and John Rowley will no longer be Trump’s attorneys in this Trump Indictment:

The lawyers, James Trusty and John Rowley, left Mr. Trump’s legal team a day after he was indicted on seven federal counts related to his handling of government documents at his Florida home and resort, Mar-a-Lago.
“For purposes of fighting the Greatest Witch Hunt of all time, now moving to the Florida Courts, I will be represented by Todd Blanche, Esq., and a firm to be named later,” Mr. Trump wrote in the post. “I want to thank Jim Trusty and John Rowley for their work, but they were up against a very dishonest, corrupt, evil, and “sick” group of people, the likes of which has not been seen before. We will be announcing additional lawyers in the coming days.”
In a joint statement put out shortly after Mr. Trump’s announcement, the two lawyers wrote that they had tendered their resignations. “It has been an honor to have spent the last year defending him, and we know he will be vindicated,” they wrote.

I know that our toffee-nosed Republicans are grossed out by Trump. I get it. I truly do. I think we need a vulgar pugilist now. Once Trump has drained the swamp, the Good Lord willing, we can have a nice clean, gentleman for President. We have to get to that place first.

Remember, you MAGAt Monsters, they are not after Trump. They are after YOU.

They won’t stop until they are beaten so thoroughly that they are made into pariahs in this nation.

  • John C. says:

Trump actually did say, “…[Y]ou had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides.” What was universally omitted by the mainstream media was him saying shortly afterwards, “And you had people — and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists — because they should be condemned totally.” Trump was lied about both by lies of commission and lies of omission. But then, we all know that.

All we were looking for was a list of names.

    Thanks for making this easy.
