Target: The Progressive Alliances Run Deep

Target: The Progressive Alliances Run Deep

Target has always been a liberal-leaning company but it seems as of late, the store has put not only liberal positioning but liberal insanity on display for us all.

Target has aligned themselves with the big ideological machine. All we have to do is look at which organizations they support as a corporation. More on this in a skosh.

Confession: as a mom with a young kiddo years back, I cherished my Target runs where my mom friends and I would gather after school drop-off at the Starbucks and shop for a few home necessities and cute housewares. My husband tried for years to break my Target addiction. He agonized over the amount of my fun money spent at Target. I ignored him, happily dropping my hard-earned dough on textiles and candles and holiday decor. The big Disney disco ball in the toy section didn’t phase me. The partnership with Internet bully (and all-around ugly and foul human being) Chrissy Teigen didn’t move me. But between the tucking swimsuits and satanic t-shirts, I can not, in good conscience, spend another dime in a Target store.

Perhaps you have felt the same way. Perhaps you are still trying to go cold-turkey off the Target run. This may do the trick. Who does Target support? Let’s take a look at one organization Target throws money at, shall we?

The organization GLSEN—formally known as the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network— has been promoted by Target for nearly ten years, paying the group over $2 million.

GLSEN works nationwide to inject the progressive ideology into classrooms which work to push the LGBTQ agenda onto children with pamphlets on gender transitioning without the knowledge of parents.”-Sarah Arnold, TownHall

According to the organization’s website, GLSEN “works to ensure that LGBTQ students are able to learn and grow in a school environment free from bullying and harassment. Together we can transform our nation’s schools into the safe and affirming environment all youth deserve.” They are also selling merchandise in honor of Pride Month (which has bled into Pride Year, I would argue). On this website is where “educators” can purchase a lovely tote that says, “I pledge to advocate for safe learning environments free from the violence of racism, transphobia, homophobia, sexism, ableism, and all forms of systemic oppression”.

Phew. I know you are…but what am I? You know what’s funny? Ironically, this organization also supports a “No Name Calling Week”. HAH!

GLSEN argues that “educators play a key role in affirming LGBTQ+ youth.” Because math is sexist and racist, GLSEN advocates for lesson plans that reword the dreaded word problem of days of old to incorporate “they/them” pronouns. Don’t worry about actually teaching these kids to actually do math. That’s not in there pedagogy. (Have I mentioned how much I hate that word?)

This organization is one organization that Target supports. But even in Target’s support of the Trans-Pride Mafia Flag by stocking their stores with trans-baby onesies, chest binders and bikini bottoms equipped with an extra pocket to tuck some junk, GLSEN wants more:

When it comes to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion, there is no such thing as neutrality. We’re calling on Target to release a public statement in the next 24 hours reaffirming their commitment to the LGBTQ+ community, put Pride merchandise back on the sales floor and online in full, and ensure safety of team members who are on the front lines.

Organizations calling on Target, and all businesses to stand up against anti-LGBTQ2S+ extremism:

Family Equality

GLAAD

GLSEN

The Human Rights Campaign

National Center For Lesbian Rights

National LGBTQ Task Force

National Black Justice Coalition”-GLSEN

Read: Too much is never enough for this crowd. The mob is still not satisfied. Nor, will they ever be.

Interestingly enough, the link to Abprallen for Target is no longer available on the Target website. You might remember, Abprallen is the gay-trans designer who sells the “Satan respects pronouns” line. But, have no fear, Target has a whole section dedicated to Pride (50 pages worth) to include those baby onesies, kids’ apparel (modeled by androgynous-looking children), undergarments to include the chest binders, candles, books (to include those for children and titles like The GAY B Cs, Cinderelliot, “I’m Not A Girl”, and a “Quick and Easy Guide to Consent”), to name a few. They also have their usual unique tablecloths, dinner plates, pet toys, pajamas, party decorations…all of the LGBTQ theme. You name it, they have it (and that was only 22 pages in).

And while Target is selling all of this stuff for those willing to shell out the cash, they are supporting organizations that advocate for the transitioning of children without the parents’ knowledge. Target is aligning themselves with school counselors who give young girls secret chest binders (perhaps bought at one of their stores) and local and state governments who are in support of disallowing parental intervention on dangerous youth-transitioning procedures to include puberty-blockers and surgeries. They support this.

It was a fun Target run for some time but that time has come to an end. I will not enter their Threshold (see what I did there?) and drool over new textiles. This marketing strategy was far from a Bullseye (that poor terrier). As for me and my house, we have waved bye-bye to the Target-Disney-Cyberbullying-Sexual Grooming-Satanic machine. Enough is enough.

Expect more from Target; we will not pay less. We will pay nothing to keep their lights on. How’s that $10 billion loss working out for you all?

UPDATE: As Target backs down on some of its visibility, the woke mob goes in, with bomb threats. Don’t expect the Associate Press to cover this one.

Amen! I was a huge Target shopper, as well as Ulta shopper. But like with Ulta, I will leave Target as well!! I vow never to step foot in another store. Just like I did with Ulta. Nor shop online with them.

    Target. Apt name.

  • Cameron says:

Worked at Target to help pay for life as a student long before Al Gayeda poisoned the place. The worst I ever had to deal with was attempted bullying to give to the United Way and I stopped that cold.

They’re pretty much dead to me. I wish them well and hope that the LGBTOMGWTFBBQ community makes up for the multi billion dollar loss on the stock market.
