Cartoonist Manipulates Memorial Day To Drag Conservatives

I am so mad I could chew up nails and spit out a bob war fence, y’all probably say “barbed wire”. Washington Post cartoonist Ann Telnaes has manipulated our war dead and late veterans to drag Conservatives. Not, you understand, Extreme Ultra MAGAs, Country Club Republicans or Trad Cons, ALL Conservatives. It is certainly a volley in the battle for the 2024 Presidential Race. So you adorable big-eyed ostrich Republicans who think if we just elect some nice, reasonable Republican and dump Donald Trump, get your head out of the sand and smell the hatred. The Left hates YOU. They are not going to be kind to whoever our candidate will be.

Our Nina was on to cartoonist Telnaes when she portrayed Ted Cruz’s two young daughters as trained monkeys:

Giving hugs of encouragement to their dad prior and after a major GOP Debate is a GOOD THING (channeling Martha Stewart). However, having your daughters help you read a Christmas story is a BAD THING! At least according to WaPo cartoonist Ann Telnaes. She wrote this after the Ted Cruz Ad that aired during SNL last weekend:
In commentary accompanying the cartoon, Telnaes explained why she thought this was an exception to what she described as “an unspoken rule in editorial cartooning that a politician’s children are off-limits.”
“But when a politician uses his children as political props, as Ted Cruz recently did in his Christmas parody video in which his eldest daughter read (with her father’s dramatic flourish) a passage of an edited Christmas classic, then I figure they are fair game,” Telnaes wrote.

Yes, that excuse just screams “I am immature and cannot control myself and will say whatever I have to say to justify my behavior to two young girls.” Of course, being an immature, Lefty cartoonist means never having to modify your behavior. This year, Miss Telnaes has given up this:

The thought bubble over the grave of the sacred patriot reads, “Book bans, anti-science, authoritarianism, sexism, loss of bodily autonomy… I though we already fought a war against fascism.”

Knee-slapping funny? No, let me see. Makes an insightful point that skewers inviolable beliefs of a group. Hale no. Easy and cheap. Those are the hallmarks of a Lefty cartoonist. The Right doesn’t want to ban any books. Just keep your niche porno out of the kiddie section, perve. Anti-science is laughable. Anti-science would be the people who want to give hormone-blockers to children and hack off body parts. Authoritarianism? Take my gas stove from my cold dead hands. Sexism? Huh? Define a woman and then we’ll talk, sweetie. Finally, loss of bodily autonomy? I assume Miss Telnaes means the High Holy Sacrament of the Left: Abortion. That’s not your body.

If that cartoonist thinks that our Patriots fought for the last 250 years for abortion and sexualizing children, she is DISTURBED.

Here is Ann on political cartooning. She is just as you expect her to be:

Ann hates people like President Trump and Senator Ted Cruz, but here she also sees Governors Ron DeSantis and Gregg Abbott as Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee:

And, just in case you haven’t gotten it yet:

Once again, I am Lean Trump, but I love our Republic too much and value my freedom waaaaay too much to back anyone other than the Republican nominee whoever it may be I will not denigrate any of our candidates. Well, I will dog Asa Hutchison because he deserves it, but all the rest of them Trump, Haley, DeSantis, Ramaswamy, Tim Scott deserve, especially at this point our open-minds. I will not gainsay them yet. Republicans who do are giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the Republic. I shouldn’t get mad at these people. I wish they were clever instead of putting their thoughts on the dead.

Let the Democrats and other Lefties “other” us. That is all they have. I just wish they would leave the our patriots in the cemeteries alone. On this Memorial Day weekend, I think of my fellow military moms. Those of you who are Gold Star Moms have our gratitude.

Ms. Telnaes is certainly an awful person, but But to be fair, I look at a completely opposite set of facts and come to the same conclusion. Rioters in the streets, the whole country on house arrest, Federal agents i harassing parents who go to school board meetings, a “Kill whitey” enshrined in university curricula, transing the kids in middle schools open corruption among government officials with no consequences, the list goes on. I would not have made the point in such a crude, disrespectful fashion, but this is not the same country that I took up arms to defend in 1972.

I grew up in South Texas, and I recall puzzling over references to “bob war.” I eventually decided it had to mean barbed wire, but I wasn’t sure for a good while.

This is exactly why it’s referred to as the ‘Washington Compost’. She’s trash, though sadly, it isn’t the useful type of compost that feeds plants.
