A man is accused of threatening to chop up U.S. Sen. Rand Paul and his family with an ax.

The man has been arrested. He allegedly called in the threats to Paul’s Bowling Green office.

Paul mentioned the attack publicly at an event in Litchfield, Kentucky, on Monday.

“Capitol Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man who threatened to kill me and chop up my family with an axe,” Paul said. “It’s just horrendous that we have to deal with things like this.”

The worst part is, though they’ve always had a penchant for violence, this has become standard operating procedure on the Left ever since Donald Trump upset She Who Would Be Queen in 2016. And they have never gotten over it, while their Failed Sovereign, hand-in-hand with Comrade Hope N. Change, leads the “resistance” against every one of us who prevented her coronation.

Notice the sign in the middle that references “artillery.” That’s what Rep. Priscilla Giddings (no relation to this writer) was referencing as she attempted to educate them on the differences between civilian ammunition and military-grade artillery. Also note that Rep. Giddings currently serves as a major in the Air Force Reserves, served nine years active duty including three combat deployments, accumulated 1,000 combat flight hours, and was awarded “Top Gun” as an A-10 fighter pilot. But don’t let the facts get in the way…stone her to death in the public square and set her on fire like the heartless heathen she is.

I continually hear the words, “Someone is going to be harmed, or worse” in response to the hypersonic rhetoric emanating from the Left. Well, Steve Scalise—who nearly died last year when a man angry with Republicans opened fire on his team as they practiced for their annual congressional baseball game—begs to differ. Yet, rather than tamping down their dangerous rhetoric, some members of Congress, their sycophants in the liberal media, and their collection of Hollywood minions, have instead ramped up their hyperbole ten-fold:

Meanwhile, this transpired in Portland, Oregon Sunday as a pro-freedom group know as Patriot Prayer had its scheduled march disrupted by the ever-present—and perpetually tolerated by the city’s Powers That Be—Antifa. Or as I prefer to call them: the domestic terrorist arm of the DNC.

For the record, I’m a political refugee from Blue Oregon, and I can tell you first-hand that diversity of thought is not welcome in that city. Violence like that seen in the above video has transpired, mostly unabated, for years. Like I said: Antifa is the domestic terrorist wing of the Democrat Party.

Conveniently, some like to forget it was this guy who fanned the flames of social divide for eight years, because to “fundamentally transform America,” one must first divide:

Somewhere that same man is grinning from ear-to-ear as we snipe at one another, rather than hold unaccountable those who’ve created many of society’s ills.

While I place the responsibility for these assaults squarely on the shoulders of the perpetrators, the fact that the Left embraces the message that violence is an acceptable answer to perceived wrongs cannot be ignored. As a result—and as President Trump continues delivering on his promises, confounding them into further hysteria—we will see more and more of these threats, and some of them may prove successful. So it’s far past time people like Mad Maxine Waters, Cryin’ Cory Booker, and anyone else who’s helped fuel the flames of domestic terrorism (I’m looking at you, CNN), step down from their positions in shame and, if warranted, prosecuted for inciting violence. Anyone on the Right would have been relieved of their duties long ago. And rightfully so. So let’s hold the Left to the same standard. And whatever you do, don’t reward their violent, anti-American behavior in November.
