John Podesta tried his very best on CBS’s Face The Nation to make the Mueller indictments about President Trump. So much so that he broke out the ole Trump is a Draft Dodger schtick. You see, Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election cycle is Trump’s fault!

Keep in mind, this is the same John Podesta who managed Hillary Clinton’s failure of a Presidential campaign. This is the same John Podesta who knew all along about Hillary’s multiple email accounts and her bathroom server. He’s the guy who wanted the San Bernardino terrorist to be white instead of Muslim as it would’ve helped Hillary somehow.

In other words, John Podesta is as swampy as it gets.

Which is all the more ironic when he calls out President Trump for not stopping Russia from meddling in US affairs!

“He clearly, I think, has failed in carrying out his duty as president of the United States, which is to protect our democracy,” Podesta said during an interview on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

He added: “If this is information warfare, then I think he’s the first draft dodger in the war.”

Pretty rich coming from a guy whose former boss, some dude named Bill Clinton, worked very hard to ensure he didn’t have to serve during the Vietnam War. Podesta himself graduated high school in 1967, but never served. I wonder how he managed that?

The entire interview with Face the Nation’s Nancy Cordes is quite fascinating.

The interesting thing about this interview is that Podesta trips all over himself regarding Trump and Russia, even to the point of inferring that the US is currently involved in an ‘information war’ with Russia.

Oh ouch! It gets even worse. Podesta claims that it’s all Trump’s fault for not stopping the Russians from meddling in US affairs. Oh? Keep in mind the Mueller indictment specifically states that the Russians targeted the purple states AND were conducting a disinformation campaign AGAINST Hillary during the 2016 election cycle.

“How is it that these Russian operatives knew to focus on purple states like Michigan and Wisconsin and your campaign didn’t?” Nancy Cordes, the host of “Face the Nation,” asked Podesta.

“Of course we spent a lot of time and energy and effort in all those states,” Podesta insisted.

“Hillary Clinton did not spend much time,” Cordes interjected.

“We had [Vice Presidential nominee] Tim Kaine was there, Barack Obama, and she spent enormous time in Pennsylvania and Michigan,” said Podesta.

“We spent a lot of effort, we had staff in Wisconsin that even President Obama had in 2012.”

Wow. He really scrambled there didn’t he? Yet supposedly it is all Trump’s fault and by not addressing the issue then, when he was only candidate Trump, nor now as President Trump.

According to Podesta, it’s Russia’s fault that Hillary didn’t visit Wisconsin once during her campaign!

It’s funny that Podesta says @POTUS hasn’t done anything regarding Russia’s meddling in our election but fails to mention the Obama admin knew about it and did nothing.

It’s Trump and Russia’s fault that Hillary didn’t put enough resources into Michigan, leaving state volunteers to raise $300,000 themselves in order to campaign for her.

It’s Trump and Russia’s fault that Hillary couldn’t swing Pennsylvania in her favor.

Those are the conclusions that Podesta is pushing. Of course, he’s also echoing his old boss, given that she herself has stated that ‘What Happened’ is because Trump is a big ole meanie and the Russians shouldn’t have leaked those darned emails!

Oh. Ok. So the Russians did it and Trump is now a ‘draft dodger’ because of their meddling. Yet, John Podesta was Hillary’s campaign manager. Is he now going to claim it was Russia’s fault that he didn’t have his boss campaign in Wisconsin or build a better ground game in Pennsylvania and Michigan?

I guess so. Evidently, it’s easier for John to blame everyone else rather than accept responsibility for his role in Hillary’s epic loss. Sounds like someone else we know doesn’t it?
