Obama’s been busy the last 10 days.  He enjoyed some down time in Palm Springs, celebrated Valentines Day without his wife, and played a few rounds of golf.

Once he returned to DC, Obama teed off a summit geared towards dealing with all the chatter about Islamic extremism. During this summit that we discover that terrorists have grievances, a jobs program will really really stop youngsters from joining terrorist organizations, we haven’t run profiles on violent extremist’s, and the GOP rhetoric against radical islam is one of the root causes of all our troubles. Time’s Michael Scherer reports on Obama’s newest tactic:

Those who identify the black-clad extremists with their religious roots, the commander-in-chief argued repeatedly, are peddling a “lie” that will drive recruitment by the nation’s enemies and ultimately hurt U.S. interests. “These terrorists are desperate for legitimacy. And all of us have a responsibility to refute the notion that groups like ISIL somehow represent Islam, because that is a falsehood that embraces the terrorists’ narrative,” he said, using the U.S. government’s preferred acronym for ISIS, which is also known as the Islamic State.

But he did not stop there. A day after talking about the “debate in the press and among pundits” over terminology, he accused others in the public sphere Thursday of aiding the terrorist cause by highlighting the connection between Islamic teachings and Islamic State’s tactics, which include rape, beheadings, crucifixions and slavery. “That narrative sometimes extends far beyond terrorist organizations,” he continued. “That narrative becomes the foundation upon which terrorists build their ideology and by which they try to justify their violence, and that hurts all of us, including Islam and especially Muslims who are the ones most likely to be killed.”

According to our Mulligan President’s logic, we’re all wrong for the name-calling we’re doing. We are supposed to change our tone and quit being so mean and divisive. We’re supposed to regard those ISIS terrorists as misguided children rather than the evil they are. I’ve a suggestion for the Duffer-In-Chief, why don’t you start first? Why don’t you call a spade a spade? As we’ve painfully discovered, Obama will bend himself into a pretzel to avoid using words like terrorism. You see, he wants us all to be NICE to them.  Yet, he has NO problem with creating division elsewhere.

Case in point. As of yesterday, we now have 3 new National Monuments. Sounds great right? Then what’s wrong with this tweet from the White House?

It’s a fabulous photo isn’t it? Too bad it is accompanied with a jab at class warfare. I’m seriously trying to wrap my head around Obama’s assertion that our ability to hike, bike, walk, and drive through our national parks has been hampered by the rich. Here’s a reality check for you. The only times people haven’t been able to get into national parks has been due to weather, adverse events such as the Mount St. Helens or Yellowstone fires, and a certain sequestration that took place 2 years ago. But you see, Obama can’t be bothered with piddly little details like that. Nope! Instead he decides to brag about his latest accomplishment.

Here we have a President who can’t and won’t accept the reality of terrorism; yet he is the very first in line to tell Americans that our National Monument/Parks problem is because its rich vs poor. Huh??

Meanwhile, former NY Mayor Rudy Giuliani has no problem with plain speaking. At a private group dinner, Giuliani outlined his concerns about Obama’s foreign policy and his two-stepping around the topic of terrorism. According to Politico’s Darren Samuelsohn, Guiliani stated:

“I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America,” Giuliani said during the dinner at the 21 Club, a former Prohibition-era speakeasy in midtown Manhattan. “He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country.”

Guiliani expanded on those remarks while talking with Fox News Megyn Kelly last night:

You know what? I have to agree. We have a President who wants us to embark on national and international community policing, run a rehab program for terrorists, and most of all..stop pretending that many aspects of Islam and terrorism aren’t one and the same.

Sorry bud, whether you like it or not, the West IS at war with Islam. You know why?  Because Islam has been at war with us since we were just starting as the newly formed 13 colonies. I accept the reality of what we face – even if I don’t like it. Thus, I stand up for this country and will stand against terrorism in any way I can, as have many before us.

We need experienced Patriots and leaders who love these United States. We need a leader who would do everything possible to fulfill the oath to preserve and defend this exceptional Republic. We need a leader and Patriot who will stand up for this country and stand up for Americans. We need a leader who will tell us the war with Islam ISN’T a lie and will lead us into the fight with force and unrelenting courage.  Our golfer in residence, President Vanity, is not the leader you are looking for.
