Musk Blasts Disney: Promises To Protect “Discriminated” Employees

Elon Musk is sending Disney and its subsidiaries into the stratosphere on Space X, so it seems.

I know, if we could only be so lucky. Actually, Musk is offering to assist discriminated employees. But not the “discriminated” employees Disney thinks are discriminated against.

Earlier yesterday, Elon Musk pledged to cover the legal expenses of Disney employees “discriminated against” by the studio’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, calling those standards “mandatory, institutionalized racism and sexism”. He tweeted this out on X:

Musk is referring to a document released in 2020; stating Disney’s guidelines of hiring and promoting “unrepresented groups” in areas of talent, production, support staff and contractors. This initiative put forth by Disney includes four “Standards”-On-Screen Representation, Creative Leadership, Below the Line and Industry Access and Career Development.

Okay, groomer. Who could forget Disney’s Karey “Generation Z is Queerer and The Company Must Get With It” Burke’s endorsement of this lunacy? Yay for Karey. She’s part of the cool kids club, toting her trans and pansexual kids around like her new Gucci bag.

Disney’s kid productions MUST include OVER 50% of “underrepresented” transgender/pansexual children. Yes, this is crazy town for sure.

And Musk believes this is crazy town, too. The tech mogul has agreed to finance the legal representation of actor and former MMA fighter, Gina Carano, who was axed from The Mandalorian series in 2021. How dare she refuse to use her pronouns and capitulate to the woke army of fans who asked her to add her pronouns to her profile! (Side note: NBC News said she was mocking the transgender population by adding “beep/bop/boop” to her profile but it is kind of hard to mock something that is already ridiculous, don’t you think?)

A short time ago in a galaxy not so far away, Defendants made it clear that only one orthodoxy in thought, speech, or action was acceptable in their empire, and that those who dared to question or failed to fully comply would not be tolerated. And so it was with Carano.

The rule of law still reigns over the Defendants’ empire … and Carano has returned to demand that they be held accountable for their bullying, discriminatory, and retaliatory actions — actions that inflicted not only substantial emotional harm, but millions of dollars in lost income.” GINA CARONO v. THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY, ) LUCASFILM LTD. LLC, and ) HUCKLEBERRY INDUSTRIES (US) )INC.

Ha! Back to this “over 50 percent queerer” thing. Here are the last words on this guidance from Disney if you want a laugh:

Context is critical when evaluating if a group is ‘underrepresented.’
Anyone involved in hiring decisions is prohibited from asking candidates and talent about their actual or perceived race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, military or veteran status, age, disability, or any other legally protected categories.”-Disney, Imagine Tomorrow

Context? What in the Shaun King is this? So, let me get this straight (yep, I said straight, Ms. Burke). A white guy can not be asked about his ethnic background, sexual orientation, age or other “legally protected category” but if he waltzes into his Disney interview and identifies as a gay, disabled, Hindu woman, he is hired? How the hell does the Disney Corporation distinguish who is “underrepresented”? Unless you walk into an interview and say “I’m underrepresented, I’m marginalized“, they are technically not allowed to ask, according to this. And, if they are hiring by sight alone (color of skin, accent or just noting that someone “looks” like a member of the LGBTQ+ community), isn’t that practice indicative of a bias? Of sexism? Of racism?

In fact, Disney’s “underrepresented” is just another form of Doublespeak in the Dystopian Magic Kingdom. Hey There, Hi There, Ho There…you’re as welcome as can be (as long as you are “underrepresented”). Forever let us hold our (LGBTQ+) banner High, High, High.

In truth, Disney could be in real trouble. Their numbers over the years indicate that some don’t quite like what they are selling-in fact, revenues and profits have been “adversely impacted“. Elon Musk’s decision to support Gina Carano may be just the tip of this iceberg ahead. Hopefully, more stories like this get out there:

A judge on Friday certified a class action lawsuit that alleges that Disney paid 9,000 women less than their male counterparts.

The suit is the largest ever certified under California’s Equal Pay Act, which makes it illegal for workers to be paid less for substantially similar work based on their gender.”-Gene Maddaus, Variety

They shoula identified as gender-queer women, apparently.

Disney has become very much like many giants in their diversity hiring initiatives. People are not hired, promoted or retained based on merit alone. They have to be deemed “underrepresented” to get ahead. These criteria have nothing to do with drive, work ethic or sheer talent. I’ve got the popcorn popping and am ready for this sh#tshow. Let Disney hire all of the “underrepresented friends” (can’t say “ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls” anymore) they want and continue to suicide themselves. Eventually, us rational folks who see this as the pure racism it is will be the “underrepresented” ones (if we aren’t already). And Disney may have to someday come out and say what they really mean by “underrepresented” if Elon Musk keeps his promise to provide legal counsel to those dumped by the company.

This is more entertaining than any woke Disney re-make. Stay tuned for Peter Pansexual and Dylan Mulvaney’s version of “Someday, My Prince Will Come (and I can be impregnated with his love child)”.

Troll on, Elon, troll on.

There is a chance that Gina’s case will be settled out of court. Personally, I hope not because discovery is going to be a lot of fun to read about.

I hope Elon is keeping his money in Krugerrands in a vault somewhere, because he is pissing off all the right people, and they will come for him even harder.

What’s going to be even more fun will be watching Al Gayeda go after her for blasphemy.
