The media does not want us to pounce, seize, nor jump on the Covid lab news. You see, even as the media and “experts” admit that masks didn’t do a damned thing, and that Covid DID happen because of a lab leak, that’s not news we need to be concerned about.
Why doesn’t the media want us to discuss the Covid lab leak? Simply this. The media was utterly complicit in suppressing ANY questions about the true origin of where the Covid virus came from. People were banned from social media platforms, driven from their jobs, and had reporting plus any questions about where this virus came from throttled and erased. That wasn’t the “right” narrative you see. We weren’t supposed to piss off Xi with our questions. Protect China and the “experts” such as that loathsome little troll, Anthony Fauci.

Well now, as the Wall Street Journal reported this weekend, we were right and all the media plus their favorite “experts” were totally wrong. In an update to a document first publicized in 2021, we find out the following:
The Energy Department now joins the Federal Bureau of Investigation in saying the virus likely spread via a mishap at a Chinese laboratory. Four other agencies, along with a national intelligence panel, still judge that it was likely the result of a natural transmission, and two are undecided.
The Energy Department’s conclusion is the result of new intelligence and is significant because the agency has considerable scientific expertise and oversees a network of U.S. national laboratories, some of which conduct advanced biological research.
The Energy Department made its judgment with “low confidence,” according to people who have read the classified report.
The FBI previously came to the conclusion that the pandemic was likely the result of a lab leak in 2021 with “moderate confidence” and still holds to this view.
Of course, let’s not “jump” to conclusions here, and whatever you do, quit with the seizing!
Republicans are seizing on a new Energy Department conclusion pointing to a “lab leak” as causing the COVID-19 outbreak to call for swift action against the Chinese government, which has refused to cooperate with global probes into the pandemic’s origin.
If you notice, in the linked report from The Hill, the words lab leak is in quotes. Lovely bit of journalistic spin that. In fact, now the story isn’t about the fact that yes, multiple agencies are starting to agree that it WAS a lab leak. Nope, the story is about OUR reaction to the news. Since we are pouncing, seizing, and now jumping on the news, we are doing it wrong…again, according to our media betters.
As Powerline’s Scott Johnson reminds us here, any reporting about the lab leak theory was treated with kid gloves. We weren’t supposed to use objective common sense reasoning in regards to tracking any and all information from China regarding the Wuhan labs.
Furthermore, the OTHER media spin since the WSJ story was published is as follows: ‘Our censorship was totally fine because of what we didn’t want you to know at that time!’

In other words, since the “experts” wanted credible information censored as it didn’t fit their chosen narrative, censorship then was acceptable and still is!!

And yet, the platforms we use to communicate banned any debating or questioning of government decrees of Truth – until the govt. admitted it didn't know.

Academics joined this chorus in marginalizing anyone raising the theory. One study cited the theory as an example of “anti-Chinese racism” and “toxic white masculinity.”
As late as May 2021, the New York Times’ Science and Health reporter Apoorva Mandavilli was calling any mention of the lab theory “racist.”
She embodies the model of the new “advocacy journalism” at the Times. Reporters who remained wedded to the dated view of objective journalism were purged from the ranks of the Times long ago.
Mandavilli and others made clear that reporters covering the theory were COVID’s little Bull Connors. She tweeted wistfully “someday we will stop talking about the lab leak theory and maybe even admit its racist roots. But alas, that day is not yet here.”
Except that the media and experts, including Jake Sullivan at the State Department don’t want that debate.
Well, that’s too damned bad. We are now told that masks don’t work and never did. Anytime from March 2020 until just two weeks ago that someone QUESTIONED mask wearing, the knives came out and censorship happened. The same with questioning the origin of this virus. It was perfectly fine to assume that bats did it, but leaking from the lab? BAN THEM!
No matter the media spin, the fact that China is now ticked off and is accusing the U.S. of smearing the Chinese government tells me one thing, the lab leak DID happen and China is big mad that this knowledge is being shared with the masses.

Jimbo Madison says: What’s the next domino to fall? That the “vaccines” and endless boosters aren’t effective? That they cause serious side effects including sudden death of young people? That Pfizer and the FDA and CDC lied for hundreds of billions of dollars? That the disease itself was never that deadly? They will not let up on the vaccines. Consider the current avian flu epidemic.
Why not vaccinate the chickens? Because they have found that mass chicken flu vaccinations spread the virus faster. This hasn’t stopped the industry from using the govenemrnt to mandate it to military and hospital workers yearly.
There are some pretty obvious problems with the covid vaccine (three doctors I know so far have shared they got heart arrhythmias from the vaccine). But it will be decades, Fauci long dead, before the full information comes out. Unfortunately that leads to a lot of inaccuracies (live blood slide analysis, for example, is a little less accurate than osteomancy).

When the drug company conducts itself like fast Eddie (“less discriminating people think rust on a car, and that rattling sound, is a bad thing…”) credibility is lost. That opens the door for a lot of inaccuracies people believe, because it seems no less credible than claims from the “experts”.

We knew since January 2021 that the WuFlu was not a rerun of the 1918 flu pandemic, from the experience of the cruise ship Diamond Princess, as reported by Sarah Hoyt on her blog and on Instapundit. That ship was an isolated Petrie dish of younger crew and passengers from 65 to 85. Without effective treatment, deaths were less than 3%.
This did not fit with what China needed, which was relief from Trumps’ tarriffs, and for the rest of the worlds’ economies to suffer as China was suffering with its’ huge and concentrated population. Chinas continuing international air travel, especially out of Wuhan, spread the disease worldwide.
Recall that Pelosi argued against Trumps’ shutdown of air travel from China, and delayed filing her second “impeachment documents” until the WuFlu had time to spread here.
It amazes me that the general populace will see proof that this government is staffed with proven liars, but they will still believe the .gov on anything and everything else.
