Tim Walz: China Has “Moral Authority” To Negotiate Peace Between Iran And Israel

Tim Walz comes gliding in with the hottest of hot takes about Israel and Iran. You see, according to him, the country best equipped to negotiate peace between the two, because of it’s vaunted moral authority, is… China.

While our readers work on picking their jaws up off the floor, let me point out a few things. Iran, since the 1970’s, has been very clear. Israel is their enemy and must be obliterated. The U.S. is viewed in the very same light, and Iran made that VERY clear when they held Americans hostage for 444 days.

Iran has made it even clearer in the decades since by funding terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah and Hamas. Furthermore, since at least the Obama Administration, Iran has kept the IAEA from monitoring their nuclear facilities.

The International Atomic Energy Agency declared on Thursday that Iran was not complying with its nuclear nonproliferation obligations, the first time the U.N. watchdog has passed a resolution against the country in 20 years.

Iran condemned the vote, calling it political in a joint statement from its foreign ministry and national atomic energy agency. The resolution “completely called into question the credibility and prestige” of the nuclear watchdog, they said.

The statement added that Iran will “launch a new enrichment center in a secure location and replace the first-generation machines” at another site with more modern equipment.

I tell you what, those pallets of cash, and the additional billions to Iran since October 7, have sure come in handy. Ben Rhodes, one of the architects of THAT deal is aghast that Israel has set Rising Lion in motion.

I think he clutched his pearls so hard, they got ground into dust. He’s in the same boat as The Squad, who is shrilly insisting that Israel needs to stand down before the U.S. is dragged into war. Then again, what they are parroting is exactly what the Ayatollah wants to hear. He WANTS the Iran apologists out there working hard on the terror regime’s behalf. He WANTS them to turn even more against Israel, which subsequently means shelving peace in favor of terrorism.

Keep in mind, Israel’s Rising Lion move didn’t come out of the blue. Just as with the exploding pagers, sneaking in to Iran and building an entire drone facility is straight out of a combination of James Bond and Mission Impossible. Using those drones to make narrowly targeted attacks that have taken multiple key actors out of the equation is a thing of brilliance.

Yet here comes Tim Walz stating that CHINA has the “moral authority” to negotiate peace between Israel and Iran.

Folks, count your blessings that that man is NOWHERE near the White House. Today he’s now on record stating that communist China would be the best at arbitrating peace. Yes, he’s serious.

Let’s look at what Israel had accomplished by this morning.

Israel killed three of Iran’s top generals: Hossein Salami, Mohammad Bagheri, and Gholamali Rashid, as well as top nuclear scientists in Tehran and at stealth nuclear facilities.

There were multiple strikes at Iran’s main enrichment facility in Natanz.

Israel hit a nuclear research facility in Tabriz, and two adjacent military bases.

It hit heavy water reactors in Arak and Khondab, where Iran produced plutonium.

Israel targeted defense and industrial compounds in Kermanshah and Isfahan, and radar facilities in Piranshahr.

Israel destroyed an oil refinery in Tabriz.

Iran launched over 100 drones at Israel, which the IDF were working to shoot down.

At this time, Israel is defending itself from counter-attacks from Iran, even as they are launching more drone and missile strikes against key Iranian terrorists.

Yet here’s Tim, bashing the United States and Israel, while claiming that China should take the lead in peace negotiations.

“It might be the Chinese,” Walz suggested to ex-Biden White House official Neera Tanden during an event at the Center for American Progress (CAP). “And that goes against everything they say they’re trying to do in terms of the balance of power.”

Earlier, Walz had asked: “Who is the voice in the world that can negotiate some type of agreement in this? Who holds the moral authority, who holds the ability to do that? Because we are not seen as a neutral actor and we maybe never were.”

China’s record of human rights abuses against its Uyghur Muslim population has been well-documented by government watchdogs, in congressional inquiries and through the work of other international aid and advocacy organizations.

Timmy is once again going all in for his pals in China. Maybe he and Gwen need a second honeymoon there? A permanent one?

Iran has been flouting all governance and treaties regarding the building of nuclear weapons for over TWENTY YEARS. After the IAEA report, they thumbed their noses in the world’s face and announced the building of a NEW nuclear site. Is it any wonder that Israel with the U.S. back channel support went after all the military and scientific architects of the nuclear program and obliterated them?

Tim Walz evidently doesn’t think that has any relevance at all. Again, we are so damned lucky he’s nowhere near the White House right now.

China has zero moral authority and should be kept far far away from any peace negotiations.

So is Tampon Tim bought and paid for by commie China, or is he a True Believer? And which is worse?

He has an idyllic vision in his head about China’s system of government. To him, the human rights abuses are justified with “they aren’t that bad” or “we’re soooo much worse.”

Thought for the day, from Marcus Tullius Cicero:

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear”
