Jake Tapper heroically jumped into the fray last night. The little troll named Fauci needed defending and Jake was ON IT.

Before you see Jake’s defense, a little back story here. As Toni wrote the other day, Lara Logan gave an interview on Fox News. What got Fauci’s shorts in a knot is that Lara informed viewers that many people have told her that THEY’VE been comparing Fauci to Joseph Mengele. 

‘In that moment, what you see on Dr. Fauci, what people say to me, is that he doesn’t represent science to them.

‘He represents Josef Mengele – the Nazi doctor who did experiments on Jews during the second world war and in the concentration camps.’

Logan added: ‘I’m talking about people all across the world who are saying this.’

‘The response from COVID,’ she continued, ‘what it has done to countries everywhere, what it has done to civil liberties, the suicide rates, the poverty – it has obliterated economies.

‘The level of suffering that has been created because of this disease is now being seen in the cold light of day, i.e. the truth – and people see that there is no justification for what is being done.’

But of course, while leaping to Fauci’s defense, the media once again ignored what Logan actually said and have been claiming ever since that SHE is the one who is promoting the Fauci/Mengele comparison. 

Fauci himself got to go on MSNBC and whine about the adverse attention he’s getting and lecture Lara Logan/Fox News about her remarks. 

He’s just “astounded” that Fox News isn’t disciplining Lara Logan for her remarks. The implication here is that Fauci is saying JUMP and Fox News is supposed to immediately respond with a ‘yes sir, no sir, right away sir!’ That’s how much power the little troll believes he has. 

This is the same Fauci who just yesterday is now claiming that the dreaded Omicron variant (which is showing as VERY MILD symptoms for 4 days or fewer) now has community spread across the U.S. This as the World Health Organization tells us there’ve been no recorded fatalities. As for the U.S. itself, let’s look at Fauci’s “community spread” claim. 

In the United States, at least 29 cases of Omicron across 11 states have been reported.

These are California, Nebraska, New York, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Utah, Pennsylvania and Hawaii, CBS News reported. There was also an infection in New Jersey of a Georgia resident.

TWENTY NINE cases across a population of over 330 million people (not including the thousands of illegals roaming around), and Fauci is claiming we have community spread? This is the same guy who is a fan of all the lockdowns, masking, and more. This is the guy who got everything wrong during the AIDS epidemic and has never been held to account. This is the guy who has people so snowed and bamboozled that a candidate for NY City Council is claiming masks were a thing in the 1980’s.

Hello! *Waves hand! I grew up in the 80’s. Graduated high school and went to college during that time. If masks were a thing, I’d remember. Furthermore, if masks were a thing during that time period, there’d be media reports about it, right? Run a search and you’ll find…nothing. 

Evidently Fauci’s feelings were so hurt that CNN’s Jake Tapper had to come running to the rescue.

Jake, you don’t do rescue media very well. Or wait, maybe you do given the responses to this. It’s very obvious that you glossed over exactly what Lara Logan said. Which is the point of your defense. Ignore the fact that she was reporting what OTHER people were telling her. Look all virtuous while leaping to the troll’s defense, and also ignore that your own network has a problematic history of comparing other people to Nazi’s.

Yes, Christine Amanpour really did compare Trump to Nazi pogroms. Furthermore, as we’ve written extensively, the media has a LONG history of comparing conservatives to Nazis.

 Jake Tapper’s defense of Fauci is laughable on so many levels. What’s even funnier about it is that Jake was so busy crafting his lecture yesterday that he missed a couple of Faucisms. 

1. Fauci got backed into a corner by Peter Doocy regarding testing and vaccinating everyone who enters the U.S. (except those here illegally) and responded with ‘that’s different so shut up.’
2. Fauci called Covid the Wuhan strain at least TWICE during different interviews late this week. This after we were shrilly informed by our political betters that using that term was racist! 

So, Jake Tapper’s defense of Fauci is nothing but a boatload of hypocritical hot air. Unfortunately, since he has the platform he does, people will buy into the defense because they’ve taught themselves to believe whatever the media peddles them and never look below the surface. 

Fauci should be grateful that Jake is helping him out. Perhaps Jake needs an early Christmas present from Fauci? I know! A mask with Fauci’s face on it would be just the ticket!
