While the media is obsessed with President Trump’s climate change tweet and a white van is inconveniently parked in front of CNN’s view of his golf game, the U.S. and Israel put together a plan to roadblock Iranian activity in the Middle East.
A senior U.S. official said that after two days of talks the U.S. and Israel reached at a joint document which included understandings on countering Iranian actions in the region. The U.S. official said the document goal’s was to translate President Trump’s Iran speech to joint U.S.-Israeli strategic goals regarding Iran and to set up a joint work plan.
As an aside … I bet the talks went on for more than just two days. But I digress. The speech referred to is this one.
Read the transcript of his speech here. Read it all, it’s worth your time.
So, what encompasses this new agreement between the U.S. and Israel? For starters:
Here’s the thing folks, as we’ve written about a bazillion times, Iran had ZERO intention of honoring the Iran Deal with the U.S. Ballistic missile testing? Yep, multiple times. Holding UN inspectors (who are ineffectual at best) at bay? Definitely. Plus, they were given exemptions that allow them to have nuke ability 10 years after the deal was put in place. Lotto winners? YEPPERS!
Yet with all that, one Iranian official had the gall to lecture and threaten the U.S. just the other day.
Our main enemy—the U.S. regime—leads the most corrupt and oppressive govt. According to news we’ve received, they’re still supporting ISIS and the like. They support the Saudi tyrannical ruling family in their crimes against #Yemen, & support Zionist atrocities in #Palestine.

The U.S. gov. commits oppression inside the U.S., too. U.S. police murder black women, men, & children for no justifiable reason, and the murderers are acquitted in U.S. courts. This is their judicial system! And they slam other countries’ and our country’s judicial system. #BLM

Reagan was both wiser and more powerful than Trump. They took measures against Iran: they shot down one of our passenger aircrafts. But where is Reagan, and how powerful is the Islamic Republic now?

U.S. govt spends a tremendous amount of money on sowing discord among people, and takes up the wealth of rich rulers in the region. By God’s Grace— they should know— we will progress powerfully. By God’s will, we will disappoint U.S. on all arenas.

Huh. The U.S. supporting ISIS is a knee slapper! Even funnier is that he supports Black Lives Matter. But invoking Reagan??!! Oh my! Guess all those pallets of cash emboldened him. Big man on campus and all that. Good to be terrorist king I guess.
However, it seems many Iranians have a serious problem with cash flow as Senator Tom Cotton (War Vet Rockstar – AK) points out:
“Even after the billions in sanctions relief they secured through the nuclear deal, the ayatollahs still can’t provide for the basic needs of their own people-perhaps because they’ve funneled so much of that money into their campaign of regional aggression in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen. The protests in Mashhad show that a regime driven by such a hateful ideology cannot maintain broad popular support forever, and we should support the Iranian people who are willing to risk their lives to speak out against it.” [Emphasis Added]
Did y’all catch that? Bribing Iran with their pallets of cash in the middle of the night was supposed to help all Iranians, yet that windfall never arrived.
Good catch by @SenTomCotton: Iran got billions in windfall from nuclear deal, but Iranians are rioting because they say they haven't seen any of it.
Where'd it go? @johnkerry @ColinKahl https://t.co/gHG3148JVb

Good question for Obama and Ben Rhodes. Wherever did those lottery winnings end up? Well…
Quite a day for leading lights of Iran echo chamber. Said US is world's most dangerous nuclear country, boasted about US caving on Iran enrichment, & now this…
'Iran deal prevents North Korea scenario' when deal IS the North Korea scenario (diplomacy –> full-blown nuke prog) https://t.co/zh0Ygy387Q

Then there’s this dude who heads Ploughshares whom we wrote about last year.
For the first time in 35 years of analysis, I must list the United States as the greatest nuclear threat in the world. https://t.co/lyhfXb2CfP

BWAHAHAHAHA!! Iran has been firing rockets off right and left and North Korea’s WHOA FAT! has tested some pretty significant nuke style missiles in the last few months, but the United States is the nuclear bad guy?? WOWZERS.

This renewal of ties by Trump between the U.S. and Israel is a welcome and much needed change given that Iran, contrary to what Obama and Ben Rhodes wanted us to believe, is a leopard that will never change its spots.
