Nikki Haley offers her wisdom on the debate performance of old man Joe Biden. She warned Donald Trump that Joe could be replaced by a younger candidate.

No, I am not making this up.

Nikki Haley has issued an ominous warning to Donald Trump after slamming President Joe Biden’s debate performance.

Haley told The Wall Street Journal that given how poorly Biden performed on Thursday night, the Democratic Party will likely replace the current nominee with a younger, more coherent candidate.

She said: ‘They are going to be smart about it: they’re going to bring somebody younger, they’re going to bring somebody vibrant, they’re going to bring somebody tested.’ – Daily Mail

Former Republican presidential candidate and United Nations Ambassador is making the rounds telling everyone to prepare for the Democrats to come up with a younger candidate. Nikki, puddin’,  I hate to break this up for you, but that is not some groundbreaking news flash.

It would not surprise me if she was interviewing for the job herself.

And let us never forget that Haley hates Trump and nearly said so daily when her sad campaign was active. Victory Girl Toni did a number on Nikki back on March 1, when Nikki was still hanging on, refusing to suspend her campaign; it was March 6 when she finally let go.

If Nikki isn’t bidding to get the Democrats’ attention, she surely doesn’t think she can drum up the Republican delegates.

No.

Trump has secured 2,265 of the 1,215 delegates needed to win the nomination – so he is the Republicans’ presumptive presidential nominee and the Republican National Convention will rubber-stamp his nomination in July.

There is interesting background here, however.

In 2016, a number of Republicans attempted to block Trump’s confirmation, pushing for delegates to be allowed to vote freely rather than cast their ballots for Trump.

The attempt failed and, crucially, many of the party members who previously wanted to prevent Trump from becoming the party’s official nominee are now staunch Trump defenders.

Republican National Committee member David Bossie told NBC News: “It didn’t happen then, and it’s not going to happen now. There is no one who is going to attempt to do that. … There’s none of that conversation that has happened in here. Not one iota of it.” – Yahoo

So why is Nikki Haley even talking right now anyway? What is her relevancy here? Nothing. I am only writing about it to show how ridiculous and desperate she is to return to the game.

She insisted the party would have to find a replacement for Biden, 81. However, as Republicans have jumped onto this idea, many have assumed it would be inherently beneficial to them — the Democratic Party would look disorganized and panicked, and whoever they get would be less of a political rival to Trump than Biden, the only person who’s won against him. Haley instead suggested that a Biden replacement might not be the slam dunk Republicans assume it would be. – Washington Examiner

Nikki responds that they’ll find a younger candidate. Boy, isn’t she so smart?

There is no future for Nikki in a second Trump administration.

Biden’s campaign tried to sway Nikki’s supporters after she dropped out with the following ad.

We all know that Nikki did not gleefully support Donald Trump when she suspended her campaign. Of course, she supported him when he was president, and she was the UN Ambassador. Since then, though, she has strongly criticized Trump, constantly repeating that he’s diminished and changed.

It is evident that buyer’s remorse has set in amongst the Democrats. And now people like Nikki are showing fangs again. But she’s a damned fool to think she has any sort of chance for anything in future Republican politics. So perhaps she is vying for a spot at the table with the Democrats at some point.

  • “It would not surprise me if she was interviewing for the job herself.”

    That was my first thought!

  • John Shepherd says:

You know who is irrelevant? People writing for blogs that few people read.

  • GWB says:

I don’t think Nikki is trying out for anything. I do think she’s trying to be relevant.
She is right, though. They will nominate someone younger – somehow. This is also a “Duh!” moment, though, since I don’t think there’s anyone older out there to nominate.

But there certainly are some folks out there who seem to think the Dems can’t run anyone but Biden, and that’s just silly. But, the question is who will win out in this struggle for power?
