Andrew McCarthy is right. The fix is in and it will stay in when it involves Hillary Clinton’s emails, her multiple servers, the use of Bleachbit to destroy evidence, and her many many Blackberries. Just yesterday Congressman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) issued quite a few subpoenas.

Platte River Network’s tech Paul Combetta was one of those served. Get a load of this:

Specifically, Paul Combetta, a technician at Platte River Networks (the Colorado firm retained by the Clintons to handle the private e-mail system), is the person who destroyed Clinton’s e-mails despite the fact that they were under congressional subpoena. Nevertheless, he was permitted to invoke attorney-client privilege — not his own, mind you, but Mrs. Clinton’s – in declining to discuss any instructions he received before (and after) carrying out the mass deletion of tens of thousands of Clinton e-mails, a task for which he used the “BleachBit” program in an effort to ensure that the deleted e-mails would be irretrievably lost.

Wait WHAT??  Combetta, NOT an attorney, was able to invoke attorney client privilege on HILLARY’S behalf?!! WTH? I’m not an attorney and even I know that you can’t do that!

This goes right back to the issues regarding Bryan Pagliano, Hillary’s State Department employee who also had a private gig as her Chappaqua in-house IT guru.

Somehow, earlier this summer, he managed to cop a deal with the FBI, was granted immunity and still pled the 5th more than 125 times! However, that doesn’t necessarily mean he gets blanket immunity all across the board. That ALSO doesn’t mean he can decide if he will or won’t show up to the hearing for which he was subpoenaed. The others showed up. But that’s all they did.

Seriously though, its hugely evident that those ordered to testify are either pleading the 5th or hiding out somewhere not only to somehow protect themselves from fallout, but likely to protect Hillary. Or protect themselves from Hillary.

Exactly! And since he isn’t, Pagliano now faces an even bigger issue.

The FBI and DOJ have shown that they are doing everything they can to NOT make a case. In fact the FBI indulgently let Pagliano refuse to answer any questions he didn’t want to? Who does that? The FBI it seems. Also, those subpoenaed by Congress are also doing everything they can, including not showing up, in order to keep this investigation from bearing any fruit.

Hillary and her gang can continue to do everything they can to make this server and email issue go away. But it won’t and it shouldn’t. The more times Bryan Pagliano runs and hides, the more times Hillary herself tries to tell is ‘there’s nothing to see here, move along,’ the more it becomes apparent that Yes Hillary, there is an email problem and you’re at the center of it.
