Get Over It, Girls: Charlotte Observer Says To Get Used To Male Genitalia

The Charlotte Observer published an op-ed on May 13th that is now making its way around the internet. Pleased with the administration’s new edict about transgendered bathrooms, and scorning the law in North Carolina that caused such a political ruckus, the paper decided to tell women and girls to get used to the new normal.

The measures follow a simple premise: Offer those who are uncomfortable a chance to be comfortable, but give choice to everyone instead of taking it away from some.

That Kentucky district and others have discovered something else that’s instructive, by the way: There have been no incidents involving locker rooms and bathrooms because of transgender policies. It is, eventually, a non-issue.

This is what the Obama administration nudged the rest of the country toward Friday. Yes, the thought of male genitalia in girls’ locker rooms – and vice versa – might be distressing to some. But the battle for equality has always been in part about overcoming discomfort – with blacks sharing facilities, with gays sharing marriage – then realizing that it was not nearly so awful as some people imagined.

Shorter Charlotte Observer: Get over it, girls, seeing penises isn’t so bad. And if you don’t like it, you are against equality and no better than a Jim Crow segregationist. (The comparison offended Clarence Henderson, chairman of the North Carolina Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission, who lived through Jim Crow and participated in the civil rights movement.)

So, if we really want to start desensitizing girls to seeing male genitalia, the solution is obvious. Give the girls porn. Get male strippers to children’s parties. Take them to nudist beaches. The sooner, the better. After all, if we want them to be accepting of seeing everything hang out and not take offense to it, you have to start them young.

This is, of course, the whole point of the pedophilia movement and their attempt to sexualize children at early ages. After all, in order to normalize pedophilia, the barriers that would make a child uncomfortable with seeing naked adults must be broken down.

We used to accept, as a society, that there was something sacrosanct about the innocence of childhood. It’s why we react so strongly and vehemently when the most innocent and weakest among us are exploited and abused. But if children are taught at an early age that seeing naked genitalia is nothing to get upset about, then that’s a protective line that has fallen. Then, there’s nothing to complain about if a man is naked in the women’s locker room, seeing in live action what he may have only seeing in porn videos before. Under the guise of “equality and tolerance,” children are taught not to question anything out of the ordinary, because that might “offend” or “hurt someone’s feelings.” But the same people who want tolerance then have no explanation for the little girls when someone videotapes them or assaults them during their more vulnerable moments.

The Charlotte Observer just wants girls and women to get over their “distress” – without acknowledging that for some, there may be a real and ugly cause for that distress – and get used to seeing penises, all in the name of “fairness” and “equality”. They fail to acknowledge that evil will use every loophole to exploit the innocent, and that the innocence of children is still worth protecting. And in pushing their agenda, they become complicit in that evil.
