On Tuesday, FBI Director James Comey left a lot of people cursing in rage at his claim that “no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case” against Hillary Clinton. It was truly a “WTF” moment in the annals of American justice.
Former Department of Justice Attorney J. Christian Adams has an explanation for Comey’s statement: the fix was already in, courtesy of the Obama DOJ, and at its head, Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
Adams tweeted today:
Big takeaway from #Comey hearing: decision was made by #DOJ, not FBI. DOJ "tradition" and DOJ guidance in interpreting applicable law.

Everyone needs to stop worrying about #Comey, and start asking why #DOJ lawyers believe they can't enforce a gross neg standard.

#Hillary escaping is NOT about #FBI bias based on #ComeyHearing, it's about #DOJ bias.

Adams was challenged on his assertion that the results were already baked into the cake prepared by the DOJ. He pushed back.
@CCRooy That's what Comey said, not me."Official guidance" is a fictional term divorced form the real world interplay of the agencies.

@calvindanielsll @benshapiro Oh yes he did. He said DOJ tradition and DOJ input led to his interpretation of gross neg statute.

J. Christian Adams has experienced the corruption of Obama’s DOJ firsthand. In 2010 he resigned his post as a trial attorney for the DOJ after witnessing the bias in the New Black Panther voter intimidation case. In 2008, members of the New Black Panther Party were accused of voter intimidation outside a polling place in Philadelphia; the charges were dismissed by Eric Holder’s DOJ.
Certainly J. Christian Adams has the battle scars to address how political bias most likely influenced Comey in the Clinton email case.
Adams spoke with radio host Mark Levin — himself an attorney and former chief of staff to Reagan Attorney General Ed Meese — and explained how DOJ cooked the results of the investigation to their order. You can hear the interview here; it’s 10 minutes of your time well spent.
On Thursday night the State Department announced that it was reopening an internal probe into Clinton’s handling of classified information. Is this just a sop to throw to the enraged masses? Will this change anything, or is it just another bit of Obamaland kabuki theater?
Justice has truly died this week. That was the nail in the coffin.
I never thought a weakling like Obama could destroy this country and here he is finishing it off.
