Devin Nunes Shouldn’t Talk To Indicted Felons – Swalwell

In an interview on Fox News Channel with Bill Hemmer, Representative Eric Swalwell, in regards to Representative Devin Nunes’s call records, said that “If you don’t talk to indicted felons, you don’t end up on call records…”. These are the call records obtained by Representative Adam Schiff.

I feel all kinds of ways about Shifty Schiff hoovering up this data, and none of them are good. Democrats are more than willing to trample the Constitution and anyone (like Devin Nunes) in their way to rid themselves of President Donald Trump. As it says in a Wall Street Journal editorial,

Democrats are trying to convince Americans that President Trump should be ousted for trying to “dig up dirt” on a rival. They’d have more credibility if they didn’t abuse their surveillance powers for drive-by smears of Republicans and a free press.

Adam Schiff’s 300-page House Intelligence impeachment report doesn’t include much new about Mr. Trump’s Ukrainian interventions. But it does disclose details of telephone calls between ranking Intelligence Republican Devin Nunes, Trump attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Jay Sekulow, reporter John Solomon, former Giuliani associate Lev Parnas, the White House, and others. The details are “metadata” about the numbers and length of the calls, not the content.

And, then there is Eric Fartwell Smalwell. The gaseous emissions from his backside are only slightly less malodorous than the ones coming out of his cakehole. I give you our very own and sweet Marta Hernandez on Eric Swelledhead after he tweeted about the Chabad of Poway shooting:

Oh, REALLY?

Not only did Smallballs show how ungracious and petty he is by condemning the President for expressing condolences to victims of a horrific act, he used the opportunity to push his political agenda.

He’ll take it from here? How statist!

To ungracious and petty, I would had arrogant and condescending. Schiff snorts up the call logs of several people including his fellow California lawmaker Devin Nunes and Fartwell says this to Hemmer:

“The call records are clear,” Swalwell responded. Ranking Member Nunes was talking to these individuals and what is really striking is that he used all of this time during the public hearing to attack Adam Schiff.”

“If you don’t talk to indicted felons, you don’t end up on call records,” he concluded.

This self-important piece of whale excrement (Smallballs) is gonna take that attitude. Here is the video in which he calls out Nunes.

How high and mighty of Mr. Smalwell. Lots of people talked to indicted felons. Many people talk to convicted felons. Swalwell is a lawyer. Lawyers very often have clients who fall into these categories. What a puckered-sphincter Mr. Swalwell is. Maybe Devin Nunes has a lot of felons in his district. He represents the felons too. He shouldn’t take a call from them? Petty, little Eric Swalwell wouldn’t talk to an indicted felon in his district.

Those who have this kind of an inflated ego sometimes end up taking a big fall. Remember when Anthony (Carlos Danger) Weiner mocked Megyn Kelly? Maybe, Fartwell ought to learn to be a little more gracious and kind to fellow lawmakers like Devin Nunes. You never know when Karma might stick her foot out and trip you.

This is much like the “If you aren’t doing anything wrong, then you don’t have anything to worry about” bit for 5th Amendment and wiretapping. Sorry, but that’s NOT the standard.

I have every right to talk with an indicted or convicted felon. (BTW, what is an “indicted felon”? Answer: it doesn’t exist. A person is indicted, OR they are a felon. He’s a lawyer and should know that.)

This is shaping up to be an awful, terrible, exhausting time to be a true American, still believing in the principles of the Constitution and the DoI.

Swalwell obviously has the mentality of a junior member of the Gestapo or KGB. He’s dumb and thuggish. That’s what the Democrat party has become. He’s a fine poster boy for them.

“Indicted felon…” yes, that’s an excellent illustration of leftist newspeak.

OTOH, GWB, this is an unusually *great* time to be a true American. The enemies of American system of liberty have revealed themselves and the fight is on. Not everyone is given such a test – or opportunity – as all of us face today. We shouldn’t let it exhaust us; our job is to make *them* feel it is an awful, terrible, hopeless time. And we’re having some success at that if the left’s mounting hysteria is any indication.

    • GWB says:

Hysteria on the left isn’t an indicator of actual success, imo. It’s only an indication of the friction we’re providing. The Overton Window still hasn’t moved much back to the right on important things. After Trump I fear the voting will go back to status quo (meaning lots of people voting for free shit for themselves, and another large group voting Democrat because family/race/stupid.)

We have to convert folks in order to win back America. That might be working, but it’s terribly slow. And the number of Trump voters is not a good indicator, unless you can actually move them right a bit.

what exists can in no way…shape…. or form —- be considered as a meer difference in political thinking….. or as just differing ideas in how to more through the haze of governing 300million or so individuals….
    no…. it’s way beyond …. irreconcilable…..
it’s more like two groups ….
one standing on the north rim of the grand canyon… screaming… yelling… running hither&thither…. rending their garments & throwing themselves off the cliff….
…. the other group, looking on from the south rim, is left wondering how the fookin’ heck the dinosaurs on the north rim got so crazy….
    liberty&freedom vs tyranny&subjugation

  • I’m just as much a mobster and racist as Donald Trump but don’t forget the Republican party died and that’s what it took to save it for a few more years. So unless we can hook up with Putin it’s game over.

Being indicted doesn’t make you a felon. Only a conviction for a felony offense does that. Eric is deliberately conflating the two.
