Even as Biden gets ready for the SOTU this evening, it’s becoming very clear that Democrats are trying to dump Kamala and figure out how to dump Biden as well.

Yet Biden, evidently will be touting how WONDERFUL the economy is and everyone is back to work! 

White House officials said the president would celebrate recent gains in the economy, including falling inflation and strong job growth, while taking credit for legislation meant to curb prescription drug prices for seniors, expand health benefits for veterans, invest in climate change programs and rebuild roads and bridges.

Only one problem with this. Not everyone is back to work, businesses are still shutting down because they don’t have enough staff and the costs of good and materials is exceptionally high. Here in Colorado, Governor Jared Polis is now having to scramble to help constituents who can’t afford their heating bills!

Xcel raised their rates 54% last fall, some of which can be directly attributed to all the Green New Deal crap foisted on us. By the way, as noted here, here, and here, windmills don’t do well in cold, like not at all. That said, while Biden will either whisper or yell about his so-called accomplishments, there is a growing push to not only dump him, but dump Kamala as well. 

In other words, Biden has been a great president. He’s made good on an uncommon number of campaign promises. He should be celebrated on Tuesday. But he should not run again.

It’s been widely reported that Biden plans to use the State of the Union to set up his case for re-election. There’s a rift in the Democratic Party about whether this is wise for an 80-year-old to do. Democratic officials are largely on board, at least publicly, but the majority of Democratic voters are not. “Democrats say he’s done a good job but he’s too old,” said Sarah Longwell, an anti-Trump Republican strategist who conducts regular voter focus groups. “He’ll be closer to 90 than 80 by the end of his second term.”

Well, NO. Biden hasn’t been a great President by any stretch of the imagination! The list of how badly he’s failed is long and distinguished. Some highlights:

Afghanistan

Open border and illegal immigration

Fentynal crisis

China balloon

Egg and baby formula shortages 

Classified documents

Draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve

War on oil and gas 

I could go on. What’s also notable is that people are tap dancing around the other issue as to why Biden shouldn’t run. His addled brain. Can this Republic REALLY afford another term with his brain as addled as it is? No. 

Meanwhile, there’s been a growing push to dump Kamala. Which makes me laugh because THEY built this. Identity politics was so damned important that progressive Democrats completely ignored her track record. A track record of failure, but she checked all the identity boxes so WHEEEE!! Now buyer’s remorse has really set in. This is the lede to the article:

The article itself is both illuminating and amusing regarding what is admitted regarding Kamala’s failure as VP.

But the painful reality for Ms. Harris is that in private conversations over the last few months, dozens of Democrats in the White House, on Capitol Hill and around the nation — including some who helped put her on the party’s 2020 ticket — said she had not risen to the challenge of proving herself as a future leader of the party, much less the country. Even some Democrats whom her own advisers referred reporters to for supportive quotes confided privately that they had lost hope in her.

As our readers know, we’ve reported on Kamala’s NASA mess, her inability to handle anything regarding the border crisis, and her utterly laughable word salads. We’ve long known she wasn’t the right person for the job, ANY job for that matter, but for the New York Times to write a hugely negative story on her? Yes, the dump Kamala campaign is underway.

Via Powerline, this from the article is just amazing. 

No one feels the frustration of being underestimated more acutely than Ms. Harris, but she makes a point of not exhibiting it publicly. In an interview with The New York Times while she was in Japan last fall, she tried to explain her own political identity.

“You got to know what you stand for and, when you know what you stand for, you know what to fight for,” Ms. Harris said.

What that translates to in tangible terms is less clear.

Let that last sentence sink in: “What that translates to in tangible terms is less clear.” This is not news or even “news analysis.” It is the editorial voice of Times tacitly confessing that Harris is an idiot.

This from a major Democrat donor and prior Clinton finance director just nails it.

“I can’t think of one thing she’s done except stay out of the way and stand beside him at certain ceremonies,” he said.

Ouch. That will definitely leave a mark! 

Now, I don’t know who, besides possibly Gavin “hair gel” Newsom would be a potential candidate, but for the Democrat/media complex to start subtly and overtly discussing a Dump Joe and Kamala strategy means, in my opinion, buyers remorse has set in…BIGLY.
