Controlling the virus is not the point anymore. Not giving up control of YOU is the point.

The FDA is going to be reviewing the data regarding Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for children ages five to eleven next week, but the Biden adminstration is already moving ahead as if approval for the vaccine is assured.

The Biden administration said it has purchased enough vaccines to give shots to all of the country’s 28 million children ages 5 to 11 years old, and have been working with state and local leaders to be ready to distribute the vaccines once they are authorized.”

The distribution plan will rely on more than 25,000 pediatricians’ office, community health centers, schools and pharmacies to put parents and children at ease, rather than the mass vaccination sites used in the initial rollout for adults.”

They claim this ISN’T putting the cart before the horse, however.

White House COVID-19 response coordinator Jeff Zients said the administration was not trying to get ahead of public health agencies by announcing a distribution plan before any vaccine has been authorized.”

“I think the best practice here is to plan ahead so that we can hit the ground running at the time that CDC and FDA make their decision,” Zients said at a briefing Wednesday.”

Uh-huh. After all, jumping the gun and promising COVID policy has never happened before in the Biden administration, right? Oh, wait.

Yeah, remember that Biden promised “booster shots for everyone!” and then the FDA advisory panel stopped him and said, “well, no, not right now.” And yet, booster shots could be expanding just because there is enough pressure on the FDA from the White House to just make things happen. Team Biden can see the poll numbers, and they are desperate to get a win somewhere. Biden ran on “shutting down the virus,” and then the virus kicked his teeth in because COVID is endemic now. It is never going away, and we have to learn to live with it.

Which means that when (not if) a vaccine for five to eleven year olds is approved, parents (like myself) who have kids in that age range will have to make some decisions. Many parents are willing to get their kids the shots simply because they want to “get back to normal life.” It’s not going to happen.

If you’re pumped to get your kids vaccinated, I’m happy for you! But the incessant, disproven chant of “earn your normalcy back!” is tiresome. Don’t be surprised people don’t believe it.

And you know who just admitted that it’s not going to happen? CDC Director Rochelle Walensky.

Anyone with a remedial understanding of viruses understood a long time ago that once COVID was unleashed on the world, there was no closing Pandora’s box. Biden promising to “shut down the virus” was nothing more than campaign rhetoric. The unholy alliance between government and public health over the “emergency” has now morphed into making sure that the “emergency” lasts forever, because CONTROL is the point. The public health officials like Fauci have discovered power, and they are not going to give it up. It will have to be taken away from them. There is no point in which they will back off and concede that COVID is endemic, and the “emergency” is now over.

Certain public health officials and pediatricians have already advocated for ending masking in schools once vaccines were available. Walensky just cut the legs out from under their arguments, and she doesn’t even seem to realize that parents are legitimately angry over this. And yet, doctors are still trying to appeal to the CDC and the Biden White House to acknowledge an end to the pandemic, because they still truly believe the science.

The dirty not-so-little secret is, of course, that the CDC and the Biden administration only follow the science when it follows THEM. This is about power, even when children are abused horribly. This is about control. This is about making sure the panic lasts forever, so they never have to give up control.

The powers that be and scientific truths parted ways a long while ago. The question is, what will YOU do about it?
