Joe Biden is busy adding to his list of “also-rans” who have now fallen obediently in line to support the non-communist. He got Klobuchar, Buttigieg, and now… a certain Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke has emerged from political purgatory to throw his support behind Biden.
Beto was onstage with Biden in Dallas to announce his support.
“Ladies and gentlemen, tomorrow, March 3, 2020, I will be casting my ballot for Joe Biden,” O’Rourke announced to applause at the rally’s conclusion.”
O’Rourke called President Trump an “existential threat” to “free and fair elections,” and urged rallygoers to view Biden as the “antithesis of Donald Trump,” someone who is “decent, kind, caring, and empathetic.”
Biden, who was busy being as effusive as Sally Field after winning an Oscar – “You like me! You really like me!” – then made an error that ensures that Texas will not be turning blue in this cycle.

Later, as Biden and his skater dudebro nephew ate at Whataburger in a not-at-all-staged photo op (huh, why didn’t Amy or Pete get invited to this little working meal, hmmm?), Grandpa Joe reassured the punk living off his wife’s money that he has a place for him in the family business.

Yes, the candidate who loudly and proudly declared that he was willing to march into people’s homes and confiscate weapons that he deemed “too scary” for the public to own (and made T-shirts to market that) is now back in the news cycle, lending his one shirt and his skateboard to Grandpa to help him win Texas.
Here’s the problem. Beto made himself radioactive in Texas with his “hell yes” crap. He might have narrowly lost to Ted Cruz in 2018, but that will never happen again in a statewide race. Like Pete Buttigieg, he has no chance of winning a statewide election, so he needs to raise his national profile by hitching his star to a bigger wagon, and hoping for a cabinet position or some big appointment in a future Democrat administration.
Speaking of Buttigieg, one shouldn’t feel too bad for him. After all, Joe said that Pete reminds him of his late son Beau, and that he’s never said that before! Except…

Also, Joe – you don’t like to admit it, but you HAVE ANOTHER SON. Nowhere are the Biden family dynamics more grossly exploited than in the deification of Beau and the shunning of Hunter. Is there any wonder Hunter Biden has turned out to be the ne’er-do-well who made money off of Daddy’s name and office?
Back to the election. So far, none of the dropouts have thrown their endorsements behind Bernie. This should tell us that the DNC has run the numbers and realized that they can’t win downticket with Bernie. They know that they will end up alienating the Bernie Bro contingent and possibly split the hard left off from the party, but they are willing to play that card in order to attempt to be viable to the general public come November.
But in allowing Joe to pat Beto on the head and promise him all the gun control he could possibly want, the Democrats are kissing Texas goodbye in the general election.

“Beano’ (I call him that because he is flatulent in the mouth) is an absurdity. The reason he came close to winning in Texas was that tons of money poured in from the outside and he masked his progressivism.
