Tony Gonzales – Trash Finally Takes Itself Out

Sleazoid Texas Congressman Tony Gonzales has done his constituents, and us, a solid by taking himself (the trash) out. This has been a minute in coming and should have happened sooner. These trashy Congressweeenies should know that this isn’t 1969. The females who serve in Congress get cut no slack either. Y’all have been warned…again.

Victory Girls have been on this fish wrapping and have written about it here and here. You may want to refamiliarize yourself with this the Tony trash before proceeding.

Yesterday was a banner trash day as Eric Swalwell has agreed to leave his post in Congress and drop out of the California Gubernatorial Race also. The more we know about Eric Shartwell, the more disgusting he is. This from the estimable Jonathan Turley us solid gold.

Yes, Nancy Pelosi created Eric. She covered up for him. Everyone is shocked, but they all knew.

My own wonderful Congressman laid it out.

As Representative Burchett explains sexual blackmail is rampant in Congress.

It’s just part of the deal. And yes, “nekkid” is the proper way to say “naked”.

Back to Tony Gonzales and Texas District 23. From The New York Times:

Representative Tony Gonzales, a Texas Republican accused of having a coercive sexual relationship with a staff member who later killed herself, said on Monday that he would resign from Congress amid growing bipartisan outcry from House members.

Mr. Gonzales, a third-term congressman whose border district stretches from San Antonio to El Paso, was embroiled in a bitter primary fight when text messages became public that documented his pursuit of a female staff member. He announced last month that he was withdrawing from the race.

“There is a season for everything and God has a plan for us all,” Mr. Gonzales said in a social media post on Monday. “When Congress returns tomorrow, I will file my retirement from office.”

Hey Gonzales, don’t bring God into this shite show now. Here is how the “retirement” was announced locally. This is a rather sterile way of announcing that a staffer set herself ablaze because of your relationship with her.

More from the NY Times:

At first, it appeared that Mr. Gonzales would be able to remain in Congress after he said that he would drop his bid for re-election. But after the accusations against Mr. Swalwell came to light, pressure grew in Congress to push out both members, as well as others.

Ms. Santos-Aviles was working in Mr. Gonzales’s Uvalde district office when he sent her “sexual texts” in 2024, according to her husband’s lawyer, Bobby Barrera, who reviewed the messages. Another worker in the Uvalde office shared a text exchange with The New York Times in which Ms. Santos-Aviles told the co-worker of an “affair with our boss.”

Ms. Santos-Aviles killed herself in September 2025 by setting herself on fire, according to the Uvalde Police Department, a horrific event that drew immediate scrutiny in the area.

Mr. Gonzales denied any sexual relationship at the time. But he admitted to the affair in March, one day after he was forced into a runoff election in the Republican primary, calling it a “lapse in judgment” and a “mistake.” He maintained that he had nothing to do with Ms. Santos-Aviles’s death.

Most bipedal Americans don’t have those types of mistakes or lapses in judgment. We are too busy being about our own business. If Ms. Santos-Aviles has mental or emotional problems, that is even worse for Mr. Gonzales.

Brandon Herrera is the gun-tuber who beat out Tony Gonzales to run in the Texas 23 race this November. His website is here. Hopefully, Governor Greg Abbott will appoint Herrera to complete the term.

I love days when trash takes itself out, don’t you?

Now do Trump. I know you don’t believe any of the women in his case— it’s only when you don’t like the accused or they are so abhorrent it can’t be ignored— but he should go also. As should Cory Mills.

As for Gonzales, earlier this year Mike Johnson, the current Speaker of the House, refused to oust Gonzales. Likely the only reason this happened now was because it doesn’t affect the numbers much with Swalwell’s resignation, so therefore it’s ok. I doubt Cory Mill will face anything though because that would hurt the majority. And of course, we can’t have that. Pesky Republicans, only believing women and providing consequences when it’s convenient…

Notice how th minute everything became public and women began speaking out, Swalwell lost support and had to drop out? See how easy that was? It should be like that every time. And while I don’t like that Swalwell’s disgusting behavior was apparently an open secret in DC, I do think policies and procedures should be put in place to not allow such men to even get as far as Trump, Swalwell, Gonzales and Mills have. But unless and until the adjudicated rapist in chief is impeached and removed, that’s unfortunately not going to happen.
