AOC, Socialism, And The New Faces GOP Ad

AOC, Socialism, And The New Faces GOP Ad

AOC, Socialism, And The New Faces GOP Ad

AOC really and I mean REALLY doesn’t like the New Faces GOP ad that shows the brutality of socialism. Why? Because it points out her own ignorance of how evil it is. Furthermore, her reaction to the ad says a great deal about today’s politically correct society and the socialism she and too many others embrace.

Here’s the ad.

How DARE the Republicans be mean to our chosen one! How DARE they go after a woman of color!

The  #BoycottABC hashtag trended on Twitter for hours. Why? Because the ad was MEAN! The sheer number of people clutching pearls and running for their fainting couches while demanding that ABC cease and desist is quite something.

However, instead of ignoring the ad, AOC had to jump in. Not once, but twice.

First she accused the Republican Party of running the ad. Then she stated that the ad was geared towards reassuring conservatives that …CONSERVATIVES aren’t racist. Yea, I scratched my head at that one. Third, she literally states in a follow up tweet that this ad is a “love letter to the GOP’s white supremacist case.”

So, let me get this straight. An ad showing a historical montage of Cambodians brutalized, dead, and dying because of socialism’s evil is supposedly a love letter to the closeted white supremacist conservatives? My mind can’t stretch her ‘logic’ that far. Makes my brain hurt.

Did she stop there? No, she doubled down.

Lots of implied rights listed there. And that ‘save our planet’ thing. Her Green New Deal isn’t about saving the planet from us humans. Nope, it’s a money and power grab plain and simple. Government setting our wages, guess what? That’s socialism. Healthcare? Make that Bernie’s Medicare for All and well..that’s socialism. Establishing justice? By WHOSE criteria? Who decides what justice will look like? Who decides who will get justice? With the government involved, there will be no justice and no peace.

Those leaping to AOC’s defense, including Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, want us to believe this was purely an agenda-driven racist ad. They demand we ignore that this ad wasn’t racist at all. They want us to ignore that the ad shines a bright light upon the Left’s embrace of socialism with AOC as their poster child.

AOC is spouting chapter and verse to us that the government is “here to help” because we Americans can’t survive without it directing/leading/governing our lives down to the ‘nth degree.

“The very fact that AOC rushed to connect Elizabeth Heng’s video to white supremacy shows just how insistent liberals like her are in their efforts to redefine America’s past and present. If a Cambodian American woman of color can be accused of supporting white supremacy, then white supremacy has lost its meaning. Heng did not attempt to set up a system of government where whites are in control over other races — she attempted to warn against the threats to liberty and prosperity that big government movements like socialism really do pose.”

Just as with the cries of ‘racist!,’ labeling folks as white supremacist if one doesn’t fall into line with the Left’s agenda is the Left’s fall back. Which has led to the obscuring of that meaning. Meanwhile the genuine facts of socialism are being buried by our betters on the Left.

When faced with those facts, they go on the defensive and point a finger.

Truthful words combined with attention-grabbing imagery.

Think about it. AOC’s response along with all those who have bought into the ‘government will save us all from ourselves!’ mantra shows just how effective the ad is.

  • Our agenda is RIGHT!
  • Our agenda will fix all the broken! *well, only if we decide it’s worthy to fix.
  • Our agenda will bring prosperity! *only to those who deserve it
  • Our agenda MUST NOT BE QUESTIONED!

According to the left, with AOC as one of the key leaders, facts and history doesn’t matter. Today’s leftist socialistic government rule does as evidenced by AOC’s reaction to the New Faces GOP ad.

None of the Clod Squad can argue facts or logic, they can only resort to name calling. They are devoid of actual ideas.

Spot on NIna, nothing gets in the way of the agenda…

Then there’s “AOC is spouting chapter and verse to us that the government is “here to help” because we Americans can’t survive without it directing/leading/governing our lives down to the ‘nth degree.”.. considering the district she represents, that’s probably true for the people that live there..

her reaction to the ad says a great deal about today’s politically correct society
It also says a lot about her self-centeredness and arrogance.

How DARE they go after a woman of color!
Hah! She’s as white as I am!

rushed to connect Elizabeth Heng’s video to white supremacy
Well, see, Elizabeth is a white girl’s name*, obviously, so she must be a white supremacist!
(* Hey, Queen of England! You don’t get whiter than that, amiright?)

AOC is a despicably ignorant tyrant wannabe. The problem is she sees herself as a crusading savior, saving us all from ourselves.
Progressivism really is a religion. *smh*

    • MarkInKansas says:

She’s descended from white supremacists who committed genocide against the Mayans, Aztecs and Incans, and any other indigenous people who were living in the central Americas when the Spanish Conquistador and explorer Hernan Cortez arrived with his ships full of soldiers.

I hope someone blindsides her with a question or comment about that part of her ancestry.

I think it’s an excellent ad and long due. I hope the GOP continues in this line. Our American socialists are outraged *because* it his a nerve with them — they say “Sweden” but they think “Venezuela” and worse. They are disciples of Marx. They must be exposed and defeated.

People who involuntarily have socialism tested on their skin detest socialism ever afterward.

This website has Elizabeth Heng’s campaign ad against incumbent Democrat Jim Costa (D-Fresno CA). In that ad, she explains how her father and mother came to be married during the Khmer Rouge (Pol Pot regime) rule of her parents’ native Cambodia. It’s the ad banned by Facebook because the ad’s display of historical archival photographs of the Pol Pot regime’s socialist brutality is too ‘disturbing’ according to the Facebook censors.

When I was a young man, the images that frighten the snowflakes at Facebook were on the six o’clock evening news and on the front page of major US newspapers. I guess we Boomers are tougher than today’s Millennials.

  • DEEBEE says:

All one has to conflate is open borders with healthcare for all and the jig is up. Even millennials can do the math.

  • Megan says:

I liked the ad and am excited to see more of Elizabeth Heng in the future. I am concerned though that it’s dangerous to focus so much on Ocasio Cortez. The media thought to defeat Trump during the election with non-stop outrage coverage, but it completely backfired.
