Celebrities are not happy with Joe Biden. And now, according to The Washington Post (WaPo), Democratic leaders are none too impressed with him, either.

In fact, according to WaPo, (insert epic, dramatic music here), the country is facing a full-blown crisis on a range of fronts, and Biden seems unable or unwilling to respond with appropriate force. (GASP!)

Democracy is under direct attack, they say, as Republicans change election rules and the Supreme Court rapidly rewrites American law. Shooting sprees are routine, abortion rights have ended and Democrats could suffer big losses in the next election.”-Ashley Parker and Matt Visor, The Washington Post

Y’all heard what happened today.But you, Americans, have to work for it, defend it and earn this life you have in America…by voting.

And, that they did, you yutz. They voted you, Joseph Robinette Biden, as the 46th President of The United States because you said you would work for them. You would defend them. You would earn their votes. Well, that’s a tragic laugh track if I’ve ever heard one. Back to WaPo‘s list of frustrated Democrats who are getting increasingly fed up with Biden.

Take JB Pritzker, governor of Illinois. He’s tired of hearing Biden’s yammering about “working together to get this all under control”:

If you are angry today, I’m here to tell you to be angry. I’m furious. I’m furious that yet more innocent lives were taken by gun violence.”-JB Priztker

He’s furious. A shooting in the affluent Chicago suburb of Highland Park. Now, don’t get me wrong, all shootings involving the death of innocents are tragic. But he’s furious now? I mean, the guy’s blood pressure should have been through the roof long before this. But JB Pritzker is now furious. When he’s not falling back on the good ol’ musket argument, that is:

Oy. This, again.

Then, there’s Adam Jentleson, a Democratic consultant and former top adviser to then-Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid of Nevada:

I sympathize with the argument that there’s very little they can do legislatively. But in moments of crisis, the president is called upon to be a leader. And when people are feeling scared and angry and outraged, they look to him for that, and they’re not getting much.”-Adam Jentleson

One cannot call upon a person to be a leader when they do not know how to lead. The months leading up to Joe Biden’s election, the months he spent hiding out in his bunker, avoiding the press, avoiding questions, avoiding showing the nation his mental state, should have been a telltale sign for these self-proclaimed intellectually superior morons. They did not get much then and they are certainly not getting much now. And, they’re surprised? Okay. Next up for WaPo, California’s very own, Gavin Newsom. He’s so angry, he took out an ad in Florida inviting residents to join him in the Land of Fruits and Nuts:

Freedom? It’s under attack in your state. I urge all of you living in Florida to join the fight. Or join us in California — where we still believe in freedom. Freedom of speech, freedom to choose, freedom from hate and the freedom to love. Don’t let them take your freedom.”-Gavin Newsom

Freedom! Come one, come all and get your abortions! Step right up! Leave your guns behind, you won’t be needing them here. Much. Remember when this guy closed a whole state down but went to that fancy dinner party in California wine country? Now he’s got the crust to run an ad appealing to Americans in a largely open state during COVID lockdowns about their freedom? The sheer arrogance and audacity of this speaks to the scuzz-bucket that he really is. This man really thinks he’s slick. This is not just his hair I’m talking about. He’s what we’d call greeeeeeezy. “Join us in California”, he says.

In a word: Nope.

What the president and the Democratic Party needs to come to terms with is that this is not just a crisis of Roe, this is a crisis of our democracy, This is a crisis of legitimacy, and President Biden must address that.”-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

But, Sandy, he’s not going to address this crisis of legitimacy because he legitimately does not even know which end is up. This is what the Democratic Party needs to come to terms with. And this, is indeed a crisis but for different reasons than the Democrats think.

While other Democrats are throwing darts and perhaps making a play for 2024, other Democrats continue to stand in Joe Biden’s corner. WaPo super journalists and the DNC to the rescue! Time to paint Joe Biden into the gentle, firm-but-fair-strong leader (cough) that he is. And, here we go in 3, 2, 1 and ACTION:

What I will tell Democrats and Republicans is don’t confuse kindness for weakness, or him having manners for weakness. If they’re just looking for a president who is going to name-call, that’s not him. He will show and draw sharp comparisons, and I think you’ll see it more as we get closer for people to make a choice.”-Cedric L. Richmond, The Democratic National Committee

Manners? Kindness? Oh, we’re not confused. The only confused party here is the guy who lives in The White House. By the way, fun fact- Joe Biden has certainly done his share of name-calling. Don’t even pretend that he has not. And, as far as Biden and the word “sharp” in the same sentence, I certainly think this is quite the stretch, don’t you?

Count on WaPo to ensure Democracy doesn’t die in the darkness. Nah. They want the Republic to die in broad daylight.
