The Deep State and media believe that Trump’s call with Ukraine was the very definition of quid pro quo, thus impeachment is necessary. Did Tim Morrison confirm that yesterday during his testimony? According to the media, that is exactly what happened.
The media ran a narrative, Morrison definitively confirms quid pro quo!! WOOOOOOO!!

Reading each of those articles, several things jump out at me.
One: Morrison, in his opening statement, disputes that Trump actually asked Zelensky to pursue the Burisma investigation. He states that the Sondland proposal was such that it would be sufficient if the inspector general would consider reopening that investigation.
Two: he points out that Sondland got other details wrong of Morrison’s account, including when and where Morrison met the Ukrainian National Security Advisor.
Three: he points out that there was discussion of a type of quid pro quo, yet that discussion (NOT A CALL) happened in SEPTEMBER. The call between Trump and Zelensky, transcribed here, does not discuss quid pro quo. Furthermore, that call took place when? JULY.
What the lovely media wants us to forget is that Morrison threw a spike in the call narrative.
““I want to be clear, I was not concerned that anything illegal was discussed,” former NSC Senior Director for European Affairs Tim Morrison testified today, according to a record of his remarks obtained by The Federalist.
Morrison testified that Ukrainian officials were not even aware that certain military funding had been delayed by the Trump administration until late August 2019, more than a month after the Trump-Zelensky call, casting doubt on allegations that Trump somehow conveyed an illegal quid pro quo demand during the July 25 call.
“I have no reason to believe the Ukrainians had any knowledge of the [military funding] review until August 28, 2019,” Morrison said. That is the same day that Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., the chief anti-Trump inquisitor in the U.S. House of Representatives, disclosed on Twitter that funding had been held up. Politico also published a story that day, sourced to anonymous leaks, that military funding had been temporarily held up.”
Wait just a darned minute. Morrison testified, under oath, that he wasn’t concerned about the call? That nothing he heard sent alarm bells ringing? But quid pro quo! It was there…SOMEWHERE!!

Paging Adam Schiff. Why did you sit on the whistleblower complaint for over a month? As we are now finding out, the whistleblower is likely a highly partisan Democrat operative named Eric Ciaramella who worked for Biden from 2015-2016 when Biden was Obama’s Ukraine envoy and Hunter got his cushy gig with Burisma. It’s also clear that Ciaramella completely opposed Trump’s policies and is said to have been dropped from the White House for going outside the chain of command. Did he leave government service after that? NOPE. He went back to the CIA. The CIA connection is John Brennan.

As we’ve noted recently, the Deep State has gone all in to get Trump. Andrew McCabe for one, DNC Chair Tom Perez for another, don’t get me started on James Comey and all his shenanigans, and the media would love nothing more than to see Trump defeated by any means necessary.
As Toni explained here, the impeachment proceedings are moving forward. Said impeachment proceedings are so lopsided that, unless things change, Republicans will ONLY be allowed to bring witnesses or present evidence if Adam Schiff permits them to do so.
But that’s ok! Even though Tim Morrison didn’t really SAY there was quid pro quo, the fact that he is proud of his work with the Administration means his loyalty to Trump is proof that quid pro quo happened!
The Deep State and media are so invested in their hatred of all things Trump that they will grasp at any straw they can find, no matter how flimsy it is.
This impeachment process is a sham wrapped up in a farce brought to us by the Deep State, Congress, and the media. Our country is in the very best of hands.

GWB says: A lot of the problem here is the media driving the idea that investigating your political opponent while running against them is extremely corrupt. Of course, that’s just not true. Doing so, then waiting to spring any accusations until just before the election, IS. Making up crap about him/her and laying it out there on the basis of you being the investigator, IS.
Without that, the “quid pro quo” is just a little something we like to call ‘diplomacy’. Quid pro quo is EXACTLY what nations do when conducting diplomacy outside war. You scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours. (That’s also the basis of a free-market economy, btw.) This for that.
Scott says: Once this crap is over, President Trump needs to replace the heads of these organizations, and clean house of all Obama / Clinton leftovers! We can argue the purposes / motives of the Deep State, but we should all be able to agree that it is NOT the welfare of our Republic and it’s citizens!..
This is another case of Democrats falsely accusing others of doing what Democrats have done. Obama and Hilliary and their minions at DoJ conspired with foreign agents to investigate candidate Donald Trump.
The current impeachment process began on Nov. 9 2016, with the decision to vote “yes” on impeachment and conviction. The subsequent steps have simply been unflagging efforts to invent a crime. It’s the Lavrentii Beria school of jurisprudence, slowed only because Dems don’t yet have complete control over our system.
Scott says: “This is another case of Democrats falsely accusing others of doing what Democrats have done.”… A page right out of Alinsky’s book…
MikeyParks says: This what happens when an entire party (minus two) is made up of bad guys and people who support bad guys. Dems are deadly toxic to the America most of us know and love and it’s going to take some kind of political chemotherapy to get them out of our system. First flush every trace of Obama.
