Nancy Pelosi And President Trump Compete For “Sh*thole” Immigration Trophy [VIDEO]

President Trump and Nancy Pelosi are competing for the Grand Prize of “Who Said The Meanest Thing EVAH!” regarding the upcoming immigration deal. Yesterday was Round One. Let’s lead off with Nancy, shall we? She’s super duper ticked off that minorities weren’t represented when crafting the immigration bill, specifically the portion regarding DACA.

Wait a minute, what did she just say??!!

“The five white guys I call them, you know,” Pelosi said, referring to five bipartisan lawmakers, including Hoyer, leading efforts to salvage the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. All five of the male lawmakers are white.

“Are they going to open a hamburger stand next or what?” she said, referring to the popular fast food restaurant “Five Guys.”

Democrat Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md) wasn’t having it.

“That comment is offensive. I am committed to ensuring DREAMers are protected and I will welcome everyone to the table who wants to get this done,” he told Politico in a statement, using the nickname referring to recipients of the DACA program.

Yeah, good ole Nancy was on a roll yesterday. She slammed Congress and Americans. You see, it seems that the tax cut is far worse than the Armageddon she claimed it would be. According to her, those who are or will be enjoying bonuses from work are “pathetic” and shouldn’t be celebrating those “insignificant crumbs.”

A gaffe? Heck I’d say she accidentally said something truthful for once. Which means Nancy is definitely a contender!

But wait!

President Trump said mean things, too!!

President Trump on Thursday balked at an immigration deal that would include protections for people from Haiti and African countries, demanding to know at a White House meeting why he should accept immigrants from “shithole countries” rather than people from places like Norway, according to people with direct knowledge of the conversation.

According to those stellar “anonymous” sources, people in the room were mystified and alarmed that he would dare say something so mean! Again, according to those “anonymous” sources, the President, during the discussion of the DACA Dreamer language for the bill, turned to someone at the table and questioned why we would want Haitians in the U.S?

Mr. Trump grew angry as the group detailed another aspect of the deal — a move to end the diversity visa lottery program and use some of the 50,000 visas to protect vulnerable populations who have been living in the United States under so-called Temporary Protected Status. That was when he asked about Haiti.

When the discussion turned to African nations, the people with knowledge of the conversation added, Mr. Trump asked why he would want “all these people from shithole countries,” adding that the United States should admit more people from places like Norway.

Let me tell ya, the pearl clutching went into serious overdrive!

Do I dare point out that many of the countries in question actually DO resemble sh*tholes? Why? Because the leadership in those countries is chock full of power mad despots. In fact, some, if not all, of those sh*thole countries are terrorist playgrounds. Need I remind anyone of Libya and Black Hawk Down?

Haiti’s leadership is problematic and corrupt. Not only that, but let’s not forget some of the key players in helping Haiti continue as a Sh*thole. Two words: Clinton Foundation.

Awwww….so CUTE!! Barf.

Then Mexico’s former President threw in his two cents.

Yep, Fox should’ve sat this one out.

Here’s the deal. Many countries in Africa and Haiti itself ARE sh*tholes. Does that mean the PEOPLE are? No. Yet sadly, the countries themselves are actually…Sh*tholes. Yet President Trump is under fire for saying something true. Secondly, Nancy Pelosi did herself and ‘the cause’ exactly ZERO favors by calling fellow Congressmen racist and slamming Americans for celebrating the bonuses they were given. She spoke her “truth” as well.

I’d say Round One is a tie.

I’m ready for Round Two? Got popcorn?

Pelosi stuck her own foot in her mouth. We know that to be true because of the video. President Trump stuck his foot in his mouth because anonymous sources said so. I tend to lean on the saying don’t believe half of what you see and all of what you hear. So until irrefutable proof comes out that he did say that I will ignore the anonymous sources.

I agree! Yet far too many others are completely willing to believe those anonymous sources because they don’t like Trump.

What’s wrong with calling a sh*thole a sh*thole? Most people know that places like Haiti are indeed sh*tholes.

    • Nina says:

Yes. very true. But did Trump actually SAY that? Or are we supposed to wholeheartedly believe some anonymous source? 😉

Why would minorities (as opposed to majority Americans) have anything directly to do with immigration? Aren’t they citizens? Or, is she implying their allegiance is to whatever country whence came their ancestors? (One of the classic Jewish libels.)

according to people with direct knowledge of the conversation
I wonder if ANY of them are yet figuring out that phrases like this simply alert most halfway intelligent people that everything attributed to them is questionable in its accuracy, TO SAY THE LEAST?

Need I remind anyone of Libya and Black Hawk Down?
Badly worded. It implies “Black Hawk Down” and “Libya” are connected. (Because you use two different sorts of nouns there – one a place, and the other an incident – the implication is that the one occurred in the other.) “Somalia” and “Libya” or “13 Hours” and “Black Hawk Down” would have been better.

With what authority do you proclaim who’s welcome in America and who’s not.
Well, the fact that he’s the F*ing Chief Executive of AMERICA, maybe? FU Vincente.

Yet President Trump is under fire for saying something true.
Well, no. He’s under fire because they made the link to not letting in people trying to escape said “sh*tholes”. This link is based solely on their spin (even assuming he really said it – he denied it this morning) of what he said. I can think of reasons I might say what Trump is alleged to have said and not have a racist (or just bigoted) context at all.

    To solve our immigration issues:
    – Stop all dual citizenship (yes, ALL – that means Israelis, too).
    – Stop allowing anything except citizenship/residency/entry facts to have any bearing in deportation proceedings.
    – Stop “anchor babies” using the “under the jurisdiction of” language to exclude those here illegally (and on non-residency visas).
    – Put up a wall (physical or metaphorical – just so long as it works).
    – Require all remittances to be accompanied by proof of citizenship/residency. (Yes, the internet will likely make this one effectively impossible.)
    – Eliminate chain migration except for immediate family – and second tier entrants are not allowed to use chain migration AT ALL.
    – Eliminate the visa lottery altogether.
