Yes, The Vicious Hate Crime In Chicago Is Being Whitewashed By The Media [VIDEO]

Yesterday the news broke of an absolutely vicious hate crime in Chicago. Deanna covered the brutal attack here. To recap, a special needs young man was kidnapped by four black teens. They held him captive for nearly 48 hours and filmed his torture on Facebook Live.

The original video is taken down but many others have captured the evil inflicted upon this traumatized young man. Was this a hate crime? No Doubt About It.

However, the media wants us to believe otherwise. Take a look via Powerline at the AP’s original reporting on the story. Key words in the original story include beating, alleged incident, suspects… all pretty innocuous. Well, within a couple of hours Powerline reported that the AP amended their story.

While police officials did not confirm the races of the suspects or victim, video from Chicago media outlets appeared to show someone off-camera using profanities about “white people” and President-elect Donald Trump. The victim appeared to be white, while others shown in the video appeared to be black.

However, the AP has further amended their story. The entire quote above was quietly replaced with THIS tame little sentence.

Off-camera, people can be heard using profanities about “white people” and Trump. At least one woman is shown in the video.

The AP isn’t the only culprit. Althouse has links to other media sources who would rather call this viciousness a beating instead of what it is. She notes that the media does mention its racially charged but none specify who attacked whom nor are they honest about the fact that the victim was tortured. But that hasn’t stopped the other apologists from stepping up. Last night on CNN, Don Lemon had this to say:

Yes it was wrong and definitely EVIL. But Lemon evidently doesn’t care. Meanwhile one of his panelists, Symone Sanders, knows EXACTLY who the culprit is. President-Elect Donald Trump.

Then again, Sanders is someone who thinks no white people should be in the Democrat party…and CNN finds her credible?? Activist Shaun King isn’t any better.

“assault??!!” Are. You. Kidding. Me. Yes indeed, the vicious torture of a special needs young man who will be forever traumatized by the evil perpetrated on him? No biggie according to King, who instead chose to whine about the fact that George Zimmerman nor the officers who killed Eric Garner AREN’T in jail.

King’s response shows he doesn’t care. Instead he’d rather sugar coat what happened in order to further his personal narrative of “its everyone else’s fault, not ours.”

Here’s the deal, while the media, pundits (I use the term loosely) and even the Chicago PD tap dance around calling this a hate crime, the fact remains clear. This was a hate crime. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

a crime, usually violent, motivated by prejudice or intolerance toward an individual’s national origin, ethnicity, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability. [Emphasis added]

Symone Sanders, Shaun King and the media would have us believe this isn’t a hate crime because political leanings against Trump shouldn’t be considered as such.

The facts are this: Those criminals targeted a special needs young man, they viciously tortured him him, screamed their hatred of whites and Trump, gleefully posted at least two videos on Facebook of their torture, and showed zero remorse from beginning to end. That, in a nutshell ladies and gentlemen, is a hate crime. It is shameful beyond belief that the media is working hard to whitewash this into something less heinous and vicious than it is.

It’s time for a rebirth of the news industry. 3 lies and your out.

  • Scott says:

That is why liberalism should be classified as a mental disorder. liberals like these have absolutely no shame. they are sociopaths, just like the ones that did this to the poor victim, who will do, say, or overlook anything, in order to advance their agenda.

  • Jodi says:

The majority of the media, and mental midgets like Shaun King, EXPECT their side to behave this way. It’s the same way they make excuses for, and tolerate, Islamic jihadists. You hurt our feelings! Therefore we are within our “rights” to attack you (sound like ISIS?)! It’s what GWB called the “soft bigotry of low expectations.” There’s your racism, Lefties. Look in the mirror. And BTW, “Irredeemable deplorables” comes to mind, the objectification of millions of Americans that both makes them targets of violence, and expendable.

What bothers me most about this horrific crime–and crime is crime; hate, as ugly as it is, is free speech last I checked–is the lack of any sort of remorse. These “people” are depraved sociopaths devoid of any redeeming qualities. Let’s hope they spend a long stint in prison, enough time to sit and think about what they did. I won’t hold my breath awaiting any epiphanies.

    • GWB says:

I disagree whole-heartedly with criminalizing “hate crimes” as such. The motive of a crime is almost always irrelevant as an element of the crime. Well, in constitutionally-based laws, it is.

      • Jodi says:

Agreed, GWB. Crime is crime. Prosecute it as such. Equally.

        • Scott says:

I agree as well, the only reason to bring up “hate crime” is to illustrate the double standard. the punishment should be based on the crime, not why they disliked the victim

  • Chris in N.Va says:

    Let’s see….

Raise generations of kids to believe that they are NOT created in God’s image and of infinite personal worth, but instead are simply random globs of molecules, no different than any other predatory animal on the planet and then – O me O my! – express shock and horror when the behave like, and treat others like, nothing more than animals or insects to torment and kill.

Just the brutal life of nature — animals destroying other animals.

Except that these “animals” do the killing and tormenting for sport, not for survival.

Contrats, Libs, you HAVE built that!

  • VALman says:

    Obama’s legacy?

  • GWB says:

    “Bad home training” @donlemon?

Well, I’ll agree with Lemon on this bit. They most certainly were not raised properly. That doesn’t mean the act is not evil. After all, if you don’t raise your kids right, they will turn out evil.

Those criminals targeted a special needs young man

And shouldn’t that make it a hate crime, anyway?

And, BTW, they have now been charged with hate crimes.

    • Nina says:

It was bad home training for sure. Actually – likely non-existent for some or all four of them. But as you know, bad home training is zero excuse for committing bad or in this case evil acts.

Its good that they are being charged for hate crimes. But sadly I’m sure the apology tour is not only going to continue but get worse.
