Some American citizens apparently suffer from an incurable pandemic called whiteness. This, according to an article published on Wednesday from The Root.

The author of the piece entitled Whiteness is a Pandemic, can be found under the subhead, Very Smart Brothas on The Root‘s online platform. Damon Young argues that the color of one’s skin may very well be a public health crisis.

White supremacy is a virus that, like other viruses, will not die until there are no bodies left for it to infect. Which means the only way to stop it is to locate it, isolate it, extract it, and kill it. I guess a vaccine could work, too. But we’ve had 400 years to develop one, so I won’t hold my breath.-Damon Young

This very smart “brotha” justifies his arguments based on a few incidents to include the most recent (and tragic) shooting at an Atlanta massage parlors. According to Young, Aaron Robert Long, the shooter, suffers from a pandemic called whiteness. Long claimed that his horrific deeds were not motivated by his whiteness or a hate for Asian Americans but rather a sex addiction.

He has an issue that he considers a sex addiction and sees these locations as something that allows him to go to these places. It’s a temptation for him that he wanted to eliminate.”

There are no excuses that justify Aaron Robert Long’s crime. But very smart brotha, Damon Young, hammers the point that whiteness was the cause of these Asian women losing their lives.

It shortens life expectancies, it pollutes air, it constricts equilibrium, it devastates forests, it melts ice caps, it sparks (and funds) wars, it flattens dialects, it infests consciousnesses and it kills people—[W]hite people and people who are not [W]hite, my mom included,” Young began. “There will be people who die, in 2050, because of white supremacy-induced decisions from 1850.”-Damon Young

Wow. whiteness does all of this, folks. And who and what is at fault? Former President, Donald Trump, of course. Young also attributes the “pandemic” of whiteness to “gentrification, to red-lining, to racial profiling, to gerrymandering, to voter oppression, to mass incarceration, to the war on drugs, to the subprime mortgage crisis, to the vast disparities in both COVID deaths and who receives COVID vaccinations, to how the men and women who stormed the Capitol just went home and had dinner with their families afterward.”

Phew.

Young looks at one version of “whiteness” and one alone. He looks to the Conservative population and those who do not follow along with the farce of group thought and ideals that are being spewed by liberal publications and media outlets. He chastises those who are skeptical of this sheer hypocrisy; and calls them the racists who have an “incurable” disease called whiteness. He neglects to address the white people who hold the power and the platforms and their plantation mentality. Let’s take a look at some of these factors contributing to the “pandemic” of whiteness, shall we? When we speak of “gentrification“, has anyone noticed how white (mostly liberals with higher educations) are taking up residence of the inner cities and formerly, predominantly, working-class neighborhoods? When you red-line and price minorities out of their neighborhoods and take over to build quaint little bookstores and coffee shops, this is what happens. Again, not your white farmers in the heartland. Educated, white Democrats in the cities. Has anyone noticed that mass incarceration was ushered in by the very person who is currently our President? “Lock the SOBs up,” he said. But black people voted for him because Kamala. And the men and women who stormed the Capitol and went home and had dinner with their families afterwards? They were the ones who “stayed at Holiday Inn and went to Olive Garden”, according to a rich, elite, white liberal aristocrat who is given a microphone. Let’s not even discuss black music “artists” who promote misogyny, violence and drug use and the white kids who try to act like them because they think it’s cool. How about black and white pre-teen girls knowing the words and gesticulations to mimic Cardi B’s “song of the year”, WAP? A song title, which is an abbreviation for Wet-Ass Pu$$y, that earned Cardi B the title of “Billboard Woman of The Year“. There’s no sickness, air pollution or devastating equilibrium here, now is there? Rapping about “popping” your privates is empowering, all. How could it contribute to pedophilia, sex addiction, sex trafficking and prostitution? This behavior, for sure, does not infect the consciousness of our young people. But whiteness is worse.

Locate it, isolate it, distract it and kill it, Young says.

How very Margaret Sanger-like, don’t you think? Want to talk saving black communities? Let’s look no further than Planned Parenthood and the concept of eugenics that lives on under the guise of celebrating reproductive rights. Can’t gentrify these communities if there are a ton of little black kids running around, can you? Price them out of their communities and leave them with no choice but to wrestle with the financial burden of having a child but be right there with a “convenient” (but lethal) solution. Again, all supported by white liberals, “champions” of the black community. But Young also ignores this toxic form of whiteness to disparage those who do not follow along with the common narrative.

Young omits the mention of grifters making millions on their whiteness and Critical Race Theory off of speaking engagements and seminars. Clearly, they are not the problem, they are the solution in all of this? What about bi-racial families? Do they only have half of a pandemic? How does that work?

What else is the solution? Ending whiteness, apparently. I was born with a pandemic that I did not even know existed until I read an article penned by some very smart brotha. How dare I call my bout with the Coronavirus the “WuHan flu”. I’m blinding myself with my whiteness, apparently. Side note: since the pandemic came from WuHan and since I currently still suffer from massive headaches, I have earned that right to do so and be pissed off about it and no, it does not mean I hate Asian people and want to shoot up massage parlors or nail salons.)

Worse than the Bubonic Plague, worse than the Coronavirus is the “pandemic” for which there is no cure. Getting rid of whiteness means one has to locate it, isolate it, distract it and kill it, says Young and this is worth repeating. How, again, did the Jews get to Auschwitz?
