White Woman Loses Suit After Accidentally Inseminated with Black Man’s Sperm

A lawsuit filed by a white woman who was artificially impregnated by the sperm of a black man was thrown out of an Illinois court.

In October of 2014, Jennifer Cramblett, part of a same-sex couple, sued Chicago-area Midwest Sperm Bank for ‘wrongful birth and breach of warranty,’ when it was discovered that she had not received the promised sperm of a pre-chosen donor. Cited in the lawsuit were the usual ‘economic and emotional damages.’

A handwritten note had been misread, leading to Cramblett becoming inseminated by the sperm of donor #330 — a black man — rather than the sperm of donor #380, who was preselected three years earlier by Cramblett and her partner Amanda Zinkon. The clinic sent a letter of apology and a refund for the incorrect batch.

Certainly the mistake made was serious, and the plaintiff should be refunded; however, some of the wording from the released court papers reek of racism, as well as the treatment of the now-3-year-old little girl as a commodity and a mistake.

According to the papers, “Jennifer was crying, confused and upset. All of the thought, care and planning that she and Amanda had undertaken to control their baby’s parentage had been rendered meaningless. In an instant, Jennifer’s excitement and anticipation of her pregnancy was replaced with anger, disappointment and fear.”

The couple wanted economic damages so they could move from Uniontown, Ohio, which is reportedly 97% white, to a more diverse city such as Akron. Cramblett had also complained that she was unprepared to raise a mixed-race child, and that her “unconsciously insensitive” family members might not accept the little girl, Payton.

And then there was the hair issue.

The lawsuit read, “Getting a young daughter’s hair cut is not particularly stressful for most mothers, but to Jennifer it is not a routine matter, because Payton has hair typical of an African American girl. To get a decent cut, Jennifer must travel to a black neighborhood, far from where she lives, where she is obviously different in appearance, and not overtly welcome.”

Seriously? No hair stylist in Uniontown, Ohio, is capable of cutting the hair of a little black child? Or is Cramblett saying that the stylists there are so racist that they would be unwilling to do so?

And I wonder how warm and fuzzy family holidays are for Cramblett and her partner, after Cramblett’s lawsuit claimed that “not all her friends and family members are racially sensitive.”

Moreover, what will little Payton’s reaction be when she gets older and finds out that her very existence was the impetus for her mother to file a “wrongful birth” lawsuit?

This wouldn’t happen if she just got pregnant the old fashioned way.

That innocent child needs to be taken from that Gaystapo pair, immediately!! What is this child going to have to live with all of her life with these racist women?! They had tried so hard to “be inseminated” by the “right person”, “controlled lineage”?!?! Damned bitches. She is a child, that one of you carried in your womb and gave birth to, for God’s sake!

What a sweet little girl. So heartbreaking and mind-boggling that those two have ZERO understanding of the gift they’ve been given. And she very much IS a gift. Can only pray that she will end up with a family who treasures her

It is funny you mention the hair thing. My barber refuses to cut black hair. It is not out of racism. It is due to the fact that he cannot get it right. Black hair requires different techniques, he tells me, and he has never gotten it right no matter how long he spends. He ends up with an unhappy customer and he is unhappy. So, he sends him to another shop where they can get black hair cut right.
