Nothing to see hear, move along, Peasants. A “small” number of classified documents were found in a locked closet in an office used by Joe Biden at the Penn Biden Think Tank. This is nothing like the “trove” of super duper, top secret classified documents found at Mar-a-Lago, the home of the former guy. You Republicans better not even think of pouncing, you “locusts feeding on suffering and dysfunction”.

Let us address the 800 lb. gorilla in the room: Joe Biden has a think tank? The actual name is the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. From the mission statement:

Even before his mental decline, Biden was known as a gaffe-prone dullard, and not as defending and advancing anything but his own interests. BREAKING: Classified Docs Found at Biden Think Tank, FBI Investigation Underway

Two people familiar with the investigation informed CBS News that Attorney General Merrick Garland has directed the U.S. attorney in Chicago to examine classified materials discovered at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington, D.C.

According to the sources, the group of about ten documents comes directly from Biden’s vice presidential office at the center. The FBI is helping the U.S. attorney with their investigation, CBS News has learned.

“The classified material was identified by personal attorneys for Mr. Biden on Nov. 2, just before the midterm elections, Richard Sauber, special counsel to the president confirmed,” CBS News reports.

According to Sauber, the documents were discovered when Biden’s personal attorneys “were packing files housed in a locked closet to prepare to vacate office space at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C.”

I warned you about pouncing, you locust Republicans. It was only a “small” number, NBC News’ Ken Denlanian said so:

“This was only a small number and we need to prop up Joe Biden and rules don’t apply to Democrats, they’re on our side. And the fact that we hid it until after the mid-terms means nothing, you smelly Walmart shopper.” That’s their story and they are sticking to it.

“The discovery of these documents was made by the President’s attorneys,” Sauber said. “The documents were not the subject of any previous request or inquiry by the Archives. Since that discovery, the President’s personal attorneys have cooperated with the Archives and the Department of Justice in a process to ensure that any Obama-Biden Administration records are appropriately in the possession of the Archives.”

The documents were found in a folder in a box amongst unclassified papers, sources say. It is not currently known what level of classification the documents had, but according to the sources, there were “nuclear secrets.”

Wait, whut? THERE WERE “NUCLEAR SECRETS”. Held in a box amongst unclassified papers? By a former Vice President who could not declassify them? Oh, we are supposed to ignore that part.

In Mexico, Joe Biden ignored questions about the “small” number of classified documents:

At a summit in Mexico City on Monday evening, Biden ignored shouted questions from reporters on the classified documents. Garland, also attending the summit, was seated to the President’s left.

A senior administration official traveling with Biden says the issue won’t be a distraction..

Garland is a simp soy boy. Meanwhile. President Trump:

Former President Trump responded Monday to the breaking news that the Justice Department is reviewing classified documents from President Biden’s tenure as vice president that were found last fall in a private office Biden had previously used.

“When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House? These documents were definitely not declassified,” Trump said on his Truth Social account, sharing an article on the document discovery from CBS News.

According to Bonchie at Red State, the talking points have gone out regarding Biden saying it was irresponsible for Trump to have documents:

Biden’s mention of being “irresponsible” seems to indicate that he wasn’t thinking about intent while talking to 60 Minutes. Rather, he was just ranting about how wrong it was for Trump to have classified documents in the first place, regardless of the reason. Yet, here we are, with Biden having been caught with unsecured classified documents. The irony is so thick you can cut it with a knife, and the goalposts are now being tossed into the sea to excuse what the president did.
