What happened in Rockville, Maryland is exactly why the Sanctuary City policy is so dangerous and wrong.
To recap, two men, 18 and 17 years old, were enrolled at the Rockville, Maryland High School AS FRESHMEN. They forced a 14-year-old girl into a school bathroom and brutally raped her.
Police charged two Rockville High students — 17-year-old Jose Montano and 18-year-old Henry Sanchez—with first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sexual offenses in the rape of a 14-year-old girl inside a boys’ restroom. Both suspects remain in custody, and they’re being charged as adults.

The suspects, though much older than the victim, are also both freshmen at Rockville High School. Sanchez is from Guatemala and is currently under a deportation order. Montano is from El Salvador. Both suspects have been in the United States for between 7 and 8 months, and neither have prior criminal records.
That’s correct, they are here ILLEGALLY.

FIVE DAYS after this young girl was raped, the school and Montgomery County Superintendent Jack Smith addressed the issue while executing a tap dance to avoid using the word ILLEGAL. His response?
“We do not know what anyone’s immigration status is in the school system because the law says we don’t collect that and we don’t,” said Dr. Smith. “But of those 25,000 [students who speak another language as their first home language], some are here with different kinds of documentation and some have none. And it is wholly and entirely inappropriate for any of us, anytime, anywhere to say that we are going to deprive a 6-year-old, an 8-year-old, a 12-year-old, a 14-year-old, a 15- and 18-year-old of an education because a horrible incident happened last Thursday in one of our schools.”
Oh I see, in the interest of education, you put ‘being nice’ above the safety of all your students. Not only that, they were put in the 9th grade because they didn’t have a provable education record. ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME??!! Does that make any sense to you? Unfortunately, the superintendent piles on even more.

Dude, we are talking about exactly TWO illegal immigrants, one of whom is under a deportation order, who raped a 14-year-old! Period.

Parents of children at Rockville High School are understandably angry at how MCPS has mishandled the entire situation.
A 14-year-old was brutally raped by two men who were placed in the same grade as she was.
The rape and arrest of the two illegal immigrants WAS ANNOUNCED OVER THE SCHOOL LOUDSPEAKER! *yes, I’m yelling.
It speaks volumes that school officials refuse to use the word ‘illegal’ when addressing this horrific situation, and threaten the parents who express their concerns. In other words, the school and district are in full-on protect the illegals, everyone else can go fly a kite.
Even worse is the fact that the defense attorney for one of those criminals has decided to ‘get ahead of the narrative’ and blame the victim!!! Think I’m wrong? Watch his interview with Tucker Carlson.

This tragic event is compounded by the fact that Maryland Democrats voted this week to become a sanctuary state. Can we say ‘tone deaf??’

A 14-year-old American girl is the victim in this, NOT the two illegals who brutally attacked her. She needs our prayers and she deserves justice, not excuses.
parker says: I seem to remember back in the 6th grade learning about a civil war that involved some states being sanctuaries. 600,000 died and many more were wounded. Time to pull the pin on all this BS. Time for the parents of legal students to make the administrators of this school district miserable by making their every appearance in public a shameful event.

The attorney’s defense is going to be an attack on the victim. Plainly stated by him. But he wouldn’t answer as to whether or not he felt his daughter would be safe with this guy. Attacking the victim has nothing to do with a good defense. He’s disgusting.

Pass a law stating any public official, politician, lawyer, judge, activist, law enforcement officer that refuses to enforce federal immigration law will be considered aiding and abetting criminal activity and will be subject to the same criminal and civil penalties as the person committing the crime. The official must resign if any objection to these penalties as moral and philosophical objections will not be acceptable as a defense.
