New York Representative Dan Goldman should take advice from a man who was/is a star in his field and a genius in marketing:

“Republicans buy sneakers, too” (also commonly rendered as “Republicans buy shoes, too”) is a quote by NBA superstar Michael Jordan, often cited as an explanation for his refusal to publicly endorse Democratic candidate Harvey Gantt in the 1990 United States Senate race against Jesse Helms in Jordan’s home state of North Carolina. The remark has since become emblematic of Jordan’s long-standing reluctance to engage in political or social activism during his playing career, a stance often attributed to his desire to maintain broad, bipartisan commercial appeal.

Rich fool Dan Goldman has done nothing but dog Donald Trump and all Republicans since Goldman was first elected to Congress in 2022 and in 2019, Goldman was lead counsel for Impeachment 1.0. For your edification, this Newsweek piece is from November, 2023:

Democratic Representative Dan Goldman sparked MAGA Republicans’ fury by calling for former President Donald Trump to be “eliminated.”

Goldman, who represents New York’s 10th Congressional District, discussed Trump’s connection to the January 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol during a Sunday appearance on MSNBC’s Inside With Jen Psaki. A former prosecutor who worked on Trump’s first impeachment inquiry in the House, Goldman has been a staunch critic of the former president’s handling of his defeat in the 2020 election.

He told Psaki that Trump should never hold office again because of his denial of the 2020 race’s results, which a federal indictment says led to efforts to overturn the election, culminating in the January 6 riot. But Goldman’s choice of words brought widespread condemnation on social media.

“His rhetoric is really getting dangerous, more and more dangerous,” the congressman said. “And we saw what happened on January 6. When he uses inflammatory rhetoric now, and his recent Truth Social posts, is incredibly, incredibly scary for anyone that might be trying to work in government.

“It is just unquestionable at this point that that man cannot see public office again. He is not only unfit. He is destructive to our democracy, and he has to be eliminated,” Goldman said.

What a load of horse pucky. Dan Goldman is a fantasist. Or, you could say he makes it all up.

Ah, how the worm turns. From the Daily Wire:

The Department of Justice is investigating a New York City coffee chain that promotes “radical hospitality” after it threatened to refuse service to Democratic Rep. Dan Goldman over his views on Israel.

Poetica Coffee, which operates seven locations across New York City, mocked Rep. Goldman in a Facebook post Sunday, refunding his purchase and declaring that it does not serve “genocide enablers.”

“Hey, Congressman Dan Goldman, we see that you stopped by our shop today for a coffee. Do you see how it doesn’t taste like genocide juice? Or are you still having a hard time telling the difference?” the coffee shop said, posting a picture of Goldman at a Brooklyn location.

“See, here at Poetica, we don’t serve racists, fascists, homophobes, genocide enablers, or anyone in between.”

Now that is some real “radical hospitality” right there. From the Poetica website:

Goldman had to mention that the barista wore a hijab. Goldman is so vile about condemning others. By the way, it was the other Jews not American Jews. Dan Goldman is a Piece of Hippo poo. But he is a big tipper. So many stereotypes.

Fortunately, the Trump Administration Department of Justice is headed by Harmeet Dhillon doesn’t care and will go after anyone who violates civil rights. From The Hill:

The Justice Department (DOJ) launched an investigation into a New York City coffee shop that said it would have refused service to pro-Israel Rep. Daniel Goldman (D-N.Y.) if it had recognized him, according to U.S. Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Harmeet Dhillon.

In a since-deleted Instagram post, Poetica Coffee wrote on Sunday that it issued a refund to the lawmaker after realizing who he was and said, “Don’t ever come to Poetica.”

Harmeet Dhillon will get Poetica. Dan Goldman, if he survives his primary tonight, maybe should be nicer to Trump and Trumplicans.

Stop laughing, that would never happen.
