Tiffany Cross, host of the Cross Connection MSNBC weekend show, was let go from the network last week. Joy(less) Reid, host of the ReidOut warned us all that we don’t understand how sisters roll. If you have never seen these two women’s shows, well, I don’t blame you. They are Rachel Maddow level stupid with a hearty side of racism. According to USTVDB, “Cross Connection with Tiffany Cross was the 16th most popular show on MSNBC and 261st overall on TV, watched by a total number of 554,000 people (0.18% rating, down -3% from last week) as of the daily audience measurement on October 29, 2022.” According to recent ratings, Reid was the number one evening show, with half the audience of Fox’s Jesse Watters. That shouldn’t give Reid a lot of comfort. Networks still want eyeballs and clicks. If there is someone else who pulls in better numbers with the right demographics, you are gone.
What lost Tiffany Cross her viewers, and then her show, was her particular brand of ugly. From Mediaite:
Cross’s tenure at the network created notable controversies, including a recent declaration that another American civil war had already begun.
A source close to MSNBC told Mediaite Friday that Cross’s comments often had not adhered to the network’s standards. The person said she was spoken to about the issue numerous times. The Cross Connection aired on Saturdays beginning in 2020.
They may have spoken to Tiffany about her bleats against White men and the patriarchy which Lisa wrote about last summer. Two months ago, Lisa followed up with a post on how Miss Cross sucks as an anchor.
To commemorate 31 years since the confirmation of Clarence Thomas, Tiffany Cross called him a slur. From BizPacReview:
“On this very day in 1991, ‘Justice Pubic Hair on My Coke Can’ was confirmed to the Supreme Court,” she began. “And even though we collectively knew how bad it was then, we didn’t know just how problematic ‘Tom’ would be until now,” referring to Thomas as an Uncle Tom, the left’s preferred slur for blacks who think for themselves.
Miss Cross didn’t even pretend to do her homework when it came to Kyle Rittenhouse:
Liberal MSNBC host Tiffany Cross blasted Republican members of Congress as “White supremacists” on Saturday, one day after a Wisconsin jury acquitted Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse.
Cross, host of “The Cross Connection,” specifically took aim at U.S. Reps. Matt Gaetz of Florida and Paul Gosar of Arizona, Mediaite.com reported. Her comments came during a conversation with The Nation journalist Elie Mystal, who was also critical of the GOP.
During the conversation, Cross referred to 18-year-old Rittenhouse as “this little murderous White supremacist,” even though the jury agreed Rittenhouse acted in self-defense last year when he shot three people, killing two, and that all three people he shot, like Rittenhouse, were White.
Then, Tiffany said that Tuo Tagovailoa’s coach didn’t care about him because Tuo is Black and the Dolphin’s coach is White. Except Tuo is a Pacific Islander and the Dolphin’s coach is biracial. Oh, dear.
Tiffany needs to take off her Racist Goggles. And, dearest Joy Reid, better expand your audience. I know you graduated from Harvard, but dayum:
My grandmother finished 8th grade. She talked about inflation non-stop during Jimmy Carter's presidency. I remember listening to her and my mother complain about it on the phone. Joy Reid went to an Ivy League school. This is sad and embarrassing. https://t.co/MwAuR26LJC

The harder you have to work for your money, the more you understand inflation. Sisters won’t be rolling anywhere if they don’t do their homework. That’s all. Just do your homework and don’t alienate half the audience.
