Planned Parenthood Director Uses “Checkbox” To Skirt Federal Partial-Birth Abortion Law [VIDEO]

The Center for Medical Progress just released their latest video documenting the evil horror that is abortion.

Dr. Suzie Prabhakaran, the Vice President of Medical Affairs for Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida, is the ‘star’ of the latest video. Fair warning, what you are about to watch will nauseate you.

Investigators from CMP posed as buyers at the conference. While there they engaged in a discussion with Suzie about harvesting organs and fetal tissue. She happily informed them that her office will be merging with the Orlando affiliate because Orlando has such a high volume and in fact at that time there were 18 abortions scheduled for the following week. Those particular abortions were at the 18 weeks and above mark.

This is what a baby looks like between 16 and 24 weeks.

Suzie and other “doctors” (I’d rather use the term butchers), certify “compliance” with the federal law by using digoxin or not to kill the baby, all they do is “document” their “intent” to do so.

“So every time you do a procedure, that’s how you document. So, like, there’s like a checkbox,”Prabhakaran states, “so it would be before the procedure, you do your evaluation, you write, ‘I intend to utilize dismemberment techniques for this procedure.’”

She goes on to say that she never uses digoxin and thinks the use of a ‘check box’ is a dandy work-around regarding that pesky federal law.

Where does Suzie get the idea that it’s peachy to blatantly work against a federal law? Why from others in the Planned Parenthood organization, of course! Specifically from Dr. Deborah Nucatola, Senior Director of Medical Services for Planned Parenthood Federation of America:

“The Federal [Partial-Birth] Abortion Ban is a law, and laws are up to interpretation. So there are some people who interpret it as it’s intent. So if I say on Day 1 I do not intend to do this, what ultimately happens doesn’t matter.”

In other words, continue on with your evil ways and abort as many babies as possible because that’s federal law? It’s for everyone else, not us.

Meanwhile, as the Senate attempts to debate on some version of healthcare reform or not, Planned Parenthood has been continually hyperventilating about their funding being cut.

Lizzie, let me tell you something: abortions of ANY kind are NOT and should never be classified as basic healthcare! An abortion is an abomination. Period.

CMP’s David Daleiden issued the following statement.

“Planned Parenthood medical directors and abortion doctors feign compliance with the federal partial-birth abortion law on paper, knowing full well that ‘what ultimately happens doesn’t matter’ so long as no one is scrutinizing what they actually do to women and children in the operating room. And the fact that Planned Parenthood has a ‘dismemberment’ ‘checkbox’ on their abortion forms should tell the public and policymakers everything they need to know about this barbaric abortion business. The Department of Justice should open an immediate investigation into Planned Parenthood’s late-term abortion practices, and the U.S. Congress must stop forcing taxpayers to subsidize Planned Parenthood’s brutal abortion empire.”

The evil abomination that is Planned Parenthood must stop. The only way to do so is to cut their federal funding and continue to shine a very bright, uncomfortable light on their brutality.

  • GWB says:

    An abortion is an abomination.

Or an emergency to try and save a life.
    But never “basic health care”.

    • Nina says:

Good point in regards to an emergency. However, I’d say it’s highly doubtful that Planned Parenthood offers emergency care …

      • GWB says:

Since they always seem to have such a tough time with regulations saying they have to have admitting arrangements with hospitals, I would guess … not.

    “basic health care”?
Only a radicalized liberal (isn’t that even redundant?) would correlate that to killing babies.
I guess that PP onus of “women’s basic health care” services that clearly are defined in their financials show that women’s basic health care issues is that of killing babies. What a wonderful slogan for “the power of women” – see women holding up aborted babies and containers of parts of babies.
    Great public relations. Great branding.
And it correlates well with public education and college/university education principles since the majority (ashamedly AMERICA) are teachers that are radicalized liberals. So as in the USA for example, the white/caucasian population decreases and the correlating increase of female% of the population, we will have plenty more opportunities to have our enpowered women kill even more babies.
