This entire Arlington National Cemetery story is a media creation that is being continued by the media, in service to the Democrats and Kamala Harris. It’s clear that the Abbey Gate Gold Star Families, despite the resistance from Arlington itself, wanted Donald Trump present.

They have said this repeatedly to anyone who will listen. They have also said that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were invited, and neither of them showed up. The families have been incredibly hurt by Joe Biden’s reaction to their loved ones’ deaths in the line of duty, and have tried demand some accountability for what has happened.

But the media simply cannot stop themselves. They really thought this was going to be A Thing™ that they could use to beat Donald Trump over the head with. The grossest example of this, of course, was Maggie Haberman of the New York Times cold-calling a deceased veteran’s family for comment, because she needed an anti-Trump angle to run with for her story. The NYT is now trying to play the “both sides do it, but Trump is just BAD” angle. But additional media is now rushing to protect the precious.

Until yesterday, Kamala Harris had not opened her mouth about Afghanistan, the Abbey Gate 13, the Gold Star Families, or the anniversary being marked at Arlington with Donald Trump. That changed with a statement on her Twitter/X account. Did she personally write this? Unlikely – this is probably a campaign creation. But it’s under her name, so she owns it. The full statement reads:

As Vice President, I have had the privilege of visiting Arlington National Cemetery several times. It is a solemn place; a place where we come together to honor American heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service of this nation.

It is not a place for politics.

And yet, as was reported this week, Donald Trump’s team chose to film a video there, resulting in an altercation with cemetery staff. Let me be clear: the former president disrespected sacred ground, all for the sake of a political stunt.

This is nothing new from Donald Trump. This is a man who has called our fallen service members “suckers” and “losers” and disparaged Medal of Honor recipients.

A man who, during a previous visit to the cemetery, reportedly said of fallen service members, “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?”

This is a man who is unable to comprehend anything other than service to himself.

If there is one thing on which we as Americans can all agree, it is that our veterans, military families, and service members should be honored, never disparaged, and treated with nothing less than our highest respect and gratitude.

And it is my belief that someone who cannot meet this simple, sacred duty should never again stand behind the seal of the President of the United States of America.

I will always honor the service and sacrifice of all of America’s fallen heroes, who made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of our beloved nation and our cherished freedoms. I mourn them and salute them. And I will never politicize them.

Uh, yeah, about not “politicizing” that “sacred ground”… Kamala, could you please call your boss? If he’s still able to pick up a phone and take a call?

Whoops. But the bigger whoops was posting this statement in the first place, because the Abbey Gate Gold Star Families went RIGHT after Kamala Harris for her failures to reach out or respond to them.

Before today, the Abbey Gate Gold Star families hadn't spoken out against Kamala Harris. You could feel that there was an unspoken boundary put in place, and all Harris had to do was keep her mouth shut.

She just couldn't do it, and now she'll reap the whirlwind.

And it wasn’t just one family. It was EIGHT out of the 13 families. The videos, which were originally posted on Twitter/X, have been collected here in a compliation video:

This wasn’t just a right hook to the Kamala Harris campaign. It was a right hook, left hook, roundhouse kick, gut punch, and a black eye all at once. So of course, the media rushed in with band-aids and makeup to cover up the figurative beating to the “JOY!” candidate. Enter Kristen Welker of NBC’s “Meet The Press.” While interviewing Senator Tom Cotton (who has quite a lot of insight and credibility in regards to the inner workings of Arlington National Cemetery, since he served in “The Old Guard” and helped conduct many funeral services in Section 60, as he described in his memoir), Welker straight up LIED in an attempt to cover Kamala’s ass.

“They did meet with them during the dignified transfer” was Welker’s way of lying to make it sound like the Abbey Gate families had met Kamala Harris before. Leaving aside the way Joe Biden reportedly behaved to those families during the dignified transfer at Dover, Kamala Harris WAS NOT THERE. And Welker said it TWICE to Senator Cotton.

Now NBC is issuing an “oopsie” correction after being ripped online for this lie, in an attempt to clean up their mess. Why is there no on-air apology? This statement, posted to X, is not sufficient.

The entire point is for NBC to cover their ass in their failed attempt to cover up for Kamala Harris. They know they lied, but they can’t make the admission as public as the lie, because the WHOLE POINT is for the media to give Kamala a pass by letting the lie be spoken in the first place.

The media is still trying to find a way to hit Trump over being at Arlington. The Gold Star Families’ videos should have put an end to it. They wanted Trump there, and they asked for Biden and Harris to come. Both Joe and Kamala are simply too chicken to meet with these families face-to-face, because they have no answers for them. They can’t explain the incompetence, they can’t explain the reaction that followed (remember that the administration droned an entire civilian family and initially claimed it was in retaliation for the bombing), and they never fired anyone for what happened. Afghanistan is a lead weight around the necks of Biden and Harris, and no matter how much the media tries to cut the chain, they can’t do it.

The point isn’t that the families asked Donald Trump to come to Arlington. The point is that Biden and Harris have not given these families any answers, and the families want answers. They want acknowledgment. They want an apology. They got nothing, and Kamala’s campaign really stepped in it by making these Gold Star Families mad. And NBC only made themselves look terrible by attempting to cover for her. But what should we expect when the media is a Democrat party organ that has chosen sides in this election?
