The time has come for the United States to take a long, hard look at where its money goes when it comes to medical research. If Covid-19 has taught us anything, it’s that the so-called medical organizations we’ve trusted for far too long to have our best interests at heart probably don’t. Why else has the World Health Organization acted as little more than a propaganda mouthpiece for China? But worse in many ways is the fact our taxpayer dollars have been sent to the Wuhan Institute of Virology to the tune of $3.7 million. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has called on Health & Human Services Secretary Alex Azar to stop the money funnel to China.
What’s really troubling to me is either conspicuously or miraculously the Wuhan Institute of Virology is able to sequence the virus on January 2 but China doesn’t admit to the virus existing until January 9 and then the Wuhan Institute of Virology doesn’t release this important scientific information to the world until January 12,” Gaetz said.
According to The Daily Mail, the Wuhan Institute of Virology is not only receiving US dollars but is at the center of the most–if not all-of the questions concerning the origination of Covid-19.
The Chinese laboratory at the center of scrutiny over a potential coronavirus leak has been using U.S. government money to carry out research on bats from the caves which scientists believe are the original source of the deadly outbreak. . . The Wuhan Institute of Virology undertook coronavirus experiments on mammals captured more than 1,000 miles away in Yunnan which were funded by a $3.7 million grant from the US government. “
This, as well as the delay in reporting on the seriousness of the virus, is something that should bother all of us. Remember, China has long stated it didn’t realize the seriousness of the virus. It didn’t try to hide the information from the rest of the world. Of course, it has also tried to blame the virus on the United States Army. Oh, and let’s not forget how it is now trying to manipulate how the rest of the world sees it, especially in relation to the virus.
Senior officials and staff at German government ministries were invited ‘to speak in positive terms about China’s management of the coronavirus,’ newspaper Die Welt said, citing a confidential foreign ministry document,” according to News 18.
This is the same China that cracked down on media coverage of Covid-19, stirring even the liberal New York Times to report on the matter.
Rep. Gaetz noted that ending the funding would be in line with President Trump’s decision to halt “funding to the World Health Organization while the U.S. investigates that body’s actions during the pandemic.” That sound you just heard was the collective breath of those sycophants of the WHO and of China gasping because Donald Trump has done what he pledged to do when he took office as president–he is doing what he can to protect this country from foreign interference and influence. All this despite the best efforts of Nancy Pelosi and company.
As Trump noted in yesterday’s presser, the WHO has put “political correctness over lifesaving measures.” While this isn’t the permanent cessation of funding to the WHO many of us would like to see, it is a 60-90 day moratorium on funding while we investigate “why the ‘China-centric’ WHO had caused ‘so much death’ by ‘severely mismanaging and covering up’ the coronavirus’ spread, including by making the ‘disastrous’ decision to oppose travel restrictions on China.”
Questions many in Congress, at least many of the liberal persuasion (not to mention the Chinese government), would prefer we not ask. Questions we much demand answers to.
Questions Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts are avoiding by their decision not to return to work until May 4th (or later) unless there is an emergency bill to vote on. Of course, even then, they will return only if it is their bill with all their pork barrel provisions included. As voters, we must remember that, as well as their attempts to hijack the first emergency bill, when we go to the polls in November.
Matt Gaetz may not be the most well-known member of the House of Representatives, but his is a name we should watch. He is asking the hard questions and reminding us that no one else is going to look out for our best interests if we don’t. Remember what he had to say about China and Covid-19.
So at best, Americans are funding people who are lying to us and at worst, we’re funding people who we knew had problems handling pathogens, who then birthed a monster virus onto the world.”
Isn’t it time to stop funding those who not only don’t have our best interests at heart but want to see us fail? The answer to that is a resounding “Yes!”. Now we must add our voices to that of Rep. Gaetz as he stands up to the NIH and to President Trump’s as he holds the WHO accountable for its part in the Covid-19 debacle.

FIFY
We honestly shouldn’t be sending money to ANY of these globalist organizations. They all turn into sinecures for aristo-/technocrats eventually. Almost none of them do any good beyond some very basic things better accomplished just by us.
[Trump] is doing what he can to protect this country from foreign interference and influence
Worst. Manchurian. Candidate. EVER.
birthed a monster virus
Meh. It doesn’t turn everything to gray goo. It doesn’t have a death rate above 1% (most likely). It doesn’t turn people into zombies (it’s the lockdown doing that). Heck, it’s significantly less deadly than communism.
But, otherwise, agree!
