When you lose Vox and Slate. It has been five years since Michael Brown died in Ferguson, Missouri. Presidential candidates Lizzie Warren and Kamala Harris decided it was high time once again fan the flames of divisiveness in this country by lying.
“On Friday and Saturday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio), Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), former congressman Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas), Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio, all running for their party’s nomination for president, tweeted out statements containing disproven claims or false implications about the incident.”
As Sharyl Atkinson points out, the entire narrative that every single one of those wanna be President candidates sent out is a flat out heinous LIE. Here are the tweets from Kamala and Lizzie.
5 years ago Michael Brown was murdered by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri. Michael was unarmed yet he was shot 6 times. I stand with activists and organizers who continue the fight for justice for Michael. We must confront systemic racism and police violence head on.

Michael Brown’s murder forever changed Ferguson and America. His tragic death sparked a desperately needed conversation and a nationwide movement. We must fight for stronger accountability and racial equity in our justice system.

All of the candidates point out that Brown was unarmed. He was just a boy! A white police officer is to blame! The ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot’ crap was real! Except that it wasn’t.
Michael Brown was an 18 yr old thug and druggie who, fresh off of assaulting a store owner, refused Officer Wilson’s command to get out of the street. Within a few minutes, Brown had reached into Wilson’s vehicle and was attacking the officer. Brown then tried to take Wilson’s gun from him. Can you imagine what would’ve happened if Brown had succeeded? Wilson would’ve been shot, or worse than that, he’d be dead.
Brown then tried to run away, but for some reason started running back towards Wilson. Wilson then defended himself and shot Brown six times. Given that Wilson had been attacked while in his vehicle, is it any wonder the officer feared for his life?
What happened over the next days is something that should’ve never have happened. The city exploded into riots that destroyed vehicles, businesses, and lives. Eric Holder visited and thought hugs would solve everything. Brown’s family along with the media, such as the idiots on The View, and far too many politicians repeated the ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot’ as if it were fact.
And then the DOJ report came out. A report that bluntly and emphatically stated all of it was a lie and yes, Michael Brown was entirely at fault.
Vox, yes THAT Vox, called out Kamala and Lizzie for their egregious lies. As the DOJ report notes, the physical evidence that showed Wilson had been the one attacked, also concluded the following:
“Given that Wilson’s account is corroborated by physical evidence and that his perception of a threat posed by Brown is corroborated by other eyewitnesses, to include aspects of the testimony of Witness 101 [Brown’s friend], there is no credible evidence that Wilson willfully shot Brown as he was attempting to surrender or was otherwise not posing a threat. Even if Wilson was mistaken in his interpretation of Brown’s conduct, the fact that others interpreted that conduct the same way as Wilson precludes a determination that he acted with a bad purpose to disobey the law. The same is true even if Wilson could be said to have acted with poor judgment in the manner in which he first interacted with Brown, or in pursuing Brown after the incident at the SUV. These are matters of policy and procedure that do not rise to the level of a Constitutional violation and thus cannot support a criminal prosecution.”
Slate, long a fan of anyone Democrat, called Lizzie out.
Sen. Warren, in this tweet you repeated a criminal accusation that was refuted years ago by forensic evidence and an Obama DOJ report (https://t.co/WKfF73kobA). Fact checkers have flagged your tweet and sought comment from you.
It's 3 days later. Will you retract the accusation? https://t.co/IYf9xNmAtJ

Look, she left the tweet up and hasn’t said a word about it since. I highly doubt she is going to retract her words unless she figures out it will LOSE her votes instead of gaining any. The same with Kamala and the rest of the Democrat clown show. Of course, since all the candidates threw this mess out there, one can see that far too many still believe the lies that were peddled then and now.
The Obama Administration DOJ report, which you can read here, was blunt. Brown was at fault, Wilson was not. Sadly, additional riots and property destruction happened in response to the verdict.
Lizzie, Kamala, and the rest of the Democrat candidates demonstrated a major failure of leadership with their commentary regarding the FACTS about Michael Brown and Officer Darren Wilson. As David French and Sharyl Attkisson note, their lies also edge into the realm of libel. That is inexcusable from anyone, especially one who aspires to the highest office in the land.

I honestly have no idea what to think about Democrats like the above that willingly and wantonly tell lies.
Do they not know the truth? Are they unable to know the truth. Are the people around them the same or are they afraid to tell the Queen that she is wrong.
You think of them as the enemies-general of humankind, to be dealt with as wolves are. Because that’s how they think of you.
Without lies, what do Dems have. At this point I have ceased to be outraged, I want them prosecuted
expect a measly mouth retraction in a day or two
Is is unfortunate that the truth the Democratic candidates prefer is the one that has become true by being a lie repeated often enough.
NPR said it was the anniversary of the shooting of Michael Brown, “an unarmed black youth by a white police officer.” This is much the same as what the press did after the Clarence Thomas hearings with respect to Anita Hill. A poll taken after the hearings reported that most people believed Thomas. A poll taken a year later reported that most people believed her. No new information came out during that year. I believe that what changed minds was the constant chatter by the pundit class that she told the truth. It became “conventional wisdom.”
Not just a lie but an extremely dangerous lie, because it has the proven ability to get officers killed. After losing many more of their colleagues in BLM-inspired ambush shootings, the police might rise up and become the renegade blue-clad right-wing death squads that Warren and Harris presently imagine them to be.
