Liz Cheney is having a Deplorables moment. The tragedy in Buffalo has been compounded by the inevitable rush to judgment. One which is getting derailed as we learn more about the shooter’s background.
Police say a white 18-year-old gunman livestreamed his attack on a Tops store in Buffalo, killing 10 and injuring three others. The suspect posted a so-called manifesto online detailing his plan to target a Black community and discussing his white supremacist ideology. The suspect wrote that he was motivated by the “Great Replacement” theory boosted by Republican lawmakers and Fox News hosts like Tucker Carlson, arguing that immigration is being used to replace and diminish the influence of white people.
Cheney, who served as the No. 3 Republican in the House before she was ousted by her party for criticizing former President Donald Trump, called out GOP leadership for boosting a conspiracy theory that inspired not only the Buffalo shooter but other mass shooters as well.
That, however, didn’t stop Liz Cheney from blaming the GOP leadership and labeling them and by proxy, all Republicans who disagree with her as white nationalist racists.
“The House GOP leadership has enabled white nationalism, white supremacy, and anti-semitism. History has taught us that what begins with words ends in far worse,” Cheney posted. “@GOP leaders must renounce and reject these views and those who hold them.”
Yes, in the midst of a tragedy, Liz decides labeling the GOP as racist is absolutely the way to go. Of course, several of the usual Democrat suspects are completely cheering her on.

When you have the Lincoln Project in your corner, its really not a good look Liz. You really might want to engage in some self-reflection right about now because everything you do and say is a clown show. Having a ‘Deplorable’s’ moment in the midst of a tragedy is an epic fail for you.
Especially since it’s a tragedy that very well could’ve been adverted. Why? Because the shooter has serious problems.
Furthermore, it really MUST be asked why his parents didn’t get him help. Liz, how come you chose to blame the GOP for Buffalo and label the leadership as racist instead of addressing the very real mental health problems this kid had? Which he admits in his manifesto and makes it abundantly clear that he HATES the GOP?
How come you label Republicans as anti-Semites and white nationalists, when the kid is on record for threatening schools multiple times yet only receiving about 1 1/2 days of supposed mental health help?
‘A school official reported that this very troubled young man had made statements indicating that he wanted to do a shooting, either at a graduation ceremony, or sometime after,’ a government source told the Buffalo News.
After police looked into the account, Gendron was referred for mental health evaluation and counseling.
Classmates said that he often acted strangely at times and espoused extremist views on politics.
Last year, one former student recalled, Gendron wore a hazmat suit to school for a week. She believed it had something to do with protecting himself from the coronavirus, but she didn’t rule out the fact that he was making a joke.
‘It was the most extra thing that I ever saw him do,’ a former classmate who asked not to be named said.
There were other indications of Gendron’s fragile mental state.
During a class exercise in political class in which the students created their own countries with the government of their choice, Gendron’s pick was an autocratic regime that the classmate described as ‘Hitler-esque.’
‘His views were extreme,’ the student said. ‘You could pick any form of government that you wanted and he picked a totalitarian government.’
Liz, instead of going full clown show and having a major Deplorables moment, you should be addressing the root cause of this. A disturbed young man who has been dealing with mental health issues, too much social media in the last couple of years, and parents either unable or unwilling to address his problems. Which led to that kid making an unthinkable and horrific choice.
Liz, your Deplorables moment is despicable. As we’ve found with multiple shooters these past few years, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM had major mental health issues. Yet what do you do? Attempt to use this tragedy to place blame and label Republicans and the GOP as racists.
Liz Cheney using the deaths of innocent Americans at the hands of a deranged bigot to settle political scores with people she hates by linking them without evidence. Keep in mind that there’s not a non-white country on earth Liz Cheney doesn’t want to conquer or drone strike. https://t.co/0Og3k1vQUW

This leftist weaponization of racial division for political power against the multi-racial working class GOP is vile and disgusting — even if it were not being uttered to, among others, a man who survived an assassination attempt. Abhorrent and utterly disqualifying. https://t.co/yIot1ZEC2E

It isn’t the GOP that are the Deplorables, it is YOU. Shame on you Liz. SHAME

Someone with some degree of sense explain to me exactly how these lunatic supremacists are being enabled. Evil never asks permission or offers solid reasons. That cuts it both ways for both sides.
The only places that Liz Cheney dares to show her face in Wyoming are Teton County, where the rich KKKalifornians have driven the median house price well into 7 figures, and a few of the larger cities like Cheyenne on the Colorado border where the blue invaders are making inroads.
If she dared to show up at a meeting anywhere in Park County she’d be lucky to be spoken to without people spitting on the ground first (Wyomingites are too polite to actually spit ON her…besides, it might give her the strength to crawl to water).
She’ll be announcing the latest propaganda narratives from one of the alphabet-soup lame-stream media companies shortly after the mid-terms. She’s basically a persona non grata carpetbagger here.
I guess it’s going after the D vote for reelection.
