We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

If we could get teachers to shut up about students misgendering them, maybe they could teach their little charges Civics. They would have to teach them to read first, but we’ll get there. That wouldn’t have helped Kamala Harris who went to school in Canada. It’s also not hard to imagine that no one introduced her to the Declaration of Independence at Howard University or the University of California. You would think that during her short Senate tenure someone might have mentioned “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”. Apparently not. When our word salad loving Veep gave a pro-abortion speech on the 50th anniversary of the Roe V. Wade decision, in Tallahassee, Florida, she left out “Life”.

Equally unbelievable, she said that we are “endowed with certain unalienable rights. By whom? Watch:

If I were Kamala Harris, which is impossible because I have working temporal lobes, I would watch videos of myself speaking and try to fix EVERYTHING! Holy Schnike! She is STOOPID.

“We are here together because we collectively believe and know, America is a promise, America is a promise – it is a promise of freedom and liberty,” Harris said. “Not for some, but for all. A promise that we made in the Declaration of Independence that we are each endowed with the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

“Be clear these rights were not bestowed upon us,” Harris continued. “They belong to us. As Americans. And it is that freedom and liberty that enabled generations of Americans to chart their own course and decide their own future. With Yes, ambition and aspiration. Therein lies the strength of our nation.”

Harris did not mention the right to life as written in the Declaration throughout her 18-minute long speech.

Kamala couldn’t mention life because the party of ghouls only recognizes the right to live at their convenience. Inconvenient people get vacuumed out or euthanized. The party of death only recognizes anyone’s right to live at their discretion. The party of ghouls cannot acknowledge the word life in the Founding Document. The party whose highest religious sacrament is abortion cannot say that we are endowed by God with our rights because there is nothing higher than a woman’s right to choose.

Not only does the Veep not understand the Declaration of Independence, she doesn’t understand the tenets of most religious faiths:

Um, yes, Kammie, you do have to abandon your faith AND deeply held beliefs to agree to abortion. If you do abandon them, they are not a part of faith or deeply held. That’s part of the dogma of the religion of Liberalism. It arose out of that 70’s “If it feels good do it, baby” zeitgeist.

Remember most European countries limit abortion after 15 weeks, but Liberals/Democrats/Ghouls want no limits on abortion.

Teach your children the full quote from the Declaration of Independence, don’t leave out life or the Creator. And, for crying out loud, teach them we live in a Republic.

      Conception should be the limit [except for cases of rape or incest as no one, not even your own family, should be able to force you to carry a child for them].

      If the individual (baby) is there by your invitation, protection of rights becomes equal.

        Joe, you’ve accepted the framing of the issue driven by Progressives. Note that any incest where people are concerned about a baby being born is where one is underage. That means it’s already statutory rape. Using the phrase “rape or incest” is designed to simply ignite the ick factor most people naturally feel about incest. Really, the exception is for just rape.

        Having said that, as far as rapes go, what did the baby do to deserve death? To use abortion on a child produced by rape, is really to project the hurt of the act onto an innocent and hold them accountable for someone else’s sin. It’s neither just nor liberating. And it certainly won’t help the woman to deal with any pain or anger, based on all of the studies and anecdotes I’ve seen.

        The use of that argument was designed by Progressives to pit the mother against the child, same as the one about the “health of the mother.” So you have to make the false choice of one or the other.

        Having said that, I would allow an exception for the time being, until we can convince more people to accept the argument I’ve presented. (It would reduce abortions drastically.)

          • Exactly. If the mother does not believe that she can love the child, there is this thing called adoption.

            Of course, there is a problem with that in our society – Leftist racists that insist a “Baby of Color” can only be adopted by a “Person of Color.” That removes more than half of the potential pool for any “Woman of Color.”

            (Besides the fact that most of them absolutely hate the notion of devout Christians adopting ANY child.)

    I thought this was one I was going to have to say, “Now, let’s parse this a little and it isn’t really as bad as that.” But NOPE! She just went right in there and… ignored… the… text…as… she spoke… like… an autom… aton. I am surprised I made it almost 3 minutes before I had to stop the video – my tolerance for her… dramatic… pauses… and hand… waving… must… be growing.

    I just realized that part of her problem might be that she saw people (or was taught about) people using dramatic pauses in speeches, and she took it very much to heart. But she’s too stupid to know where they should go. So she… sprinkles… them liberally… through each… sentence.

    Actually, Toni, I think you’re about half a century late. It arose partly out of the zeitgeist of the 1920s. But it was already baked into the cake in the late 1800s, when Progressivism decided that it could chuck morality in favor of “reason”.

    Barack Obama chose Joe Biden to be his running mate because he saw Joe as such a buffoon and idiot that he, Obama, would never be impeached or assassinated because Joe Biden would then become President.

    Joe Biden chose Kamala Harris, or she was chosen for him, for exactly the same reason.
