The DNC conducted an investigation into why Democrats and Kamala Harris cratered during the 2024 election. And has refused to release the report. Now, it seems that Kamala wants the report released. Seriously.
As former Vice President Kamala Harris considers another run for president, she is also signaling that she has no problem with a public airing of what went wrong last time — telling donors she believes the Democratic National Committee should release its buried autopsy of her failed 2024 campaign, according to a person who has heard the conversations.
While she indicated to donors that she had no issue with releasing it, Harris has not discussed the postmortem with DNC Chairman Ken Martin and did not know about his decision to keep it under wraps until it happened, this person said.
Like most prospective candidates, Harris is staying involved in political affairs. That includes touring the country, giving speeches to state parties, developing the framework for a policy platform and sounding out fellow Democrats about her next chapter.
What’s unique about Harris is that while she tries to orient toward the future, many in her party are actively fighting over whether to keep examining the flaws of her last campaign.
Yes, there are people having backroom cat fights about the report and whether it should be released or not.
A long-promised autopsy of the Democratic Party’s losses in 2024 has yet to materialize, and it’s becoming a growing source of frustration for Democrats still looking for answers for why they lost the White House for a second time to President Trump.
Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair Ken Martin angered Democrats in November when he first announced that the party would not be releasing the autopsy.
The issue has resurfaced in recent days as Martin has doubled down on the issue.This week, the chair defended the party’s ongoing internal assessment, saying it would result in looking backward or “navel-gazing” — as he put it — at a time when they’re looking ahead.
I cannot stop laughing at all of this. First that DNC Chair Ken Martin is stating that looking back and trying to figure out what went sideways with the Democrats is a useless endeavor. The report must’ve been stratospherically horrific for him to bury it. And I’d be willing to bet that a gigantic section of that report involved the fact that the Democrats skipped normal procedures and anointed Kamala to run as President. They totally bypassed all the Democrat norms to do this.

The campaign itself was a train wreck on steroids. The missteps were many. Foremost was choosing Tim ‘Jazz Hands’ Walz, a Blue Falcon governor whose wife got off on the smell of burning tires during the George Floyd riots.
Kamala’s first Presidential campaign didn’t even get an inch off the ground. Her second campaign went nowhere. And her anointed stint as President candidate led to a major nearly across the board Democrat defeat.
And she wants the autopsy to be made public??!! The woman is delusional.

Yes, burning through well over $1 billion dollars with nothing to show for it was another part of what went wrong with the Democrats. Not only that, but Kamala couldn’t stay on point if her life depended upon it.

But somehow, somewhere in that empty noggin of hers, Kamala thinks she can run for President again and win.
The fact is, Kamala is just a bad candidate. She’s bad at everything to do with running for office. She’s bad at doing the tasks required of her IN office. Her stint as an invisible Border Czar, or ‘helping’ NASA are just two of a multitude of examples.
Kamala Harris has zero self-awareness. She could be presented with all the evidence in the world, but her ego won’t let her see that …SHE was the problem in the race. Not because she’s a woman, or a person of color. It’s because she’s just plain incompetent.
And I’d be willing to bet the DNC 2024 autopsy report lays that out very, and I mean VERY clearly.

While I did not vote for her, this is clearly a major overstatement. In the 2024 election, the popular vote went 49.80% to Trump and 48.32% to Harris. That’s a difference of 1.48%. Although the electoral college vote seems to show a larger gap, this was the result of 3 key states: Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. Pennsylvania went 50.37% to Trump and 48.66% to Harris, a difference of 1.71%. Michigan went 49.73% to Trump and 48.31% to Harris, a difference of 1.42%. Wisconsin went 49.60% to Trump and 48.74% to Harris, a difference of 0.86%.
If just these 3 states had flipped the other way, Harris would have won 270 electoral college votes and gone to the White House. In Michigan and Wisconsin, it was the independent voters who gave Trump a victory, since Trump himself got less than 50% of the vote. In Pennsylvania, he carried more than 50%. But one shouldn’t look to brightly at 50.37% of the vote as a winning score. In any given election, there’s probably 1% of the vote which has a random character to it. Because of the weather that morning, a few people decided to vote for Candidate A. But if the sunshine had been a little different, they might have voted for Candidate B. Usually, a 2% margin of victory is what should look for to be sure that the election wasn’t just accidentally influenced by such fluctuations.
There’s no dispute that Trump won the 2024 election fair and square. People from all sides were watching this election in particular for and signs of funny business. Trump won, but not at all a crushing victory. Harris would only have needed to pull a small share of Trump-voters over to her side, and perhaps a similar small share of independent voters, to be able to carry the election. She lost, but anyone who gloats over this as a crushing defeat is fooling themselves.
