Jen Psaki knows EXACTLY who is to blame for all the devastation wrought by the fires in Los Angeles County. No, it isn’t the mismanagement by decades of Democrat governance, nor is it the failures of Gavin Newsom or Karen Bass to adequately prepare LA or the state to handle dangerous fires like these.

No, it’s Trump’s so-called accusations that are the problem says Jen. 

You see, when Trump advocated for actual forest management and wildfire mitigation such as clearing dead underbrush from forests, from around power poles, hauling away dead trees, inspecting power lines, and filling reservoirs to have on standby, he was figuratively raked over the coals. And his valid suggestions were completely ignored by Gavin Newsom and CA Democrats. 

We are now finding out that Karen Bass and the LA City Council ignored a major memo from the LA Fire Chief that showed just how woefully understaffed the department is. As in, the fire department doesn’t even meet NATIONAL standards for staffing. 

Scrubbing that memo is essentially an admission of guilt over their own lack of action in my opinion. According to Jen’s “logic”, Trump is to blame for that. 

Gavin Newsom lands an softball interview yesterday and whines about how there wasn’t enough water while stating that ALL the reservoirs were full. Except…

That Santa Ynez Reservoir holds 117 million gallons of water, or it used to. But it’s been sitting empty for months or more. Yet Gavin is trying to tell us that getting it fixed isn’t a state responsibility.

Well, if it was a county responsibility, the city water commissioner whose salary is over $700K a YEAR really fell down on the job. 

Traci Park, the Los Angeles City Council member whose district includes Pacific Palisades, had not been made aware that the reservoir was offline, a spokesman said on Friday.

The spokesman, Pete Brown, said Ms. Park and her team had many questions about the water systems and the Santa Ynez Reservoir, and would be seeking more answers about whether it should have been out of commission.

Yet, Jen will say the lack of communication and having that reservoir empty is all Donald Trump’s fault. 

Far too many out there, including Jen want this horrific fire to be all about people not doing enough for climate change. Evidently arsonists haven’t gotten that memo. 

A man has been arrested after firefighters caught him ‘actively lighting fires’ in Los Angeles county, it has emerged.

Ruben Montes, 29, was arrested for arson on Sunday in Irwindale, California, roughly 16 miles away from Altadena, where the deadly Eaton Fire continues to rage.

Firefighters were responding to a small brush fire in Irwindale when they witnessed Montes starting blazes in the area, police have confirmed.

Montes’ arrest comes just days after Mexican national Juan Manuel Sierra-Leyva was detained by Calabasas residents for allegedly starting fires in the area.

Sierra-Leyva was caught on video walking with a yellow blowtorch before he was confronted by residents in the area.

Except that Sierra-Leyva is already free because of California’s asinine sanctuary city/state laws. Want to bet that Monte is freed also? I wonder what tortured reasoning Jen will use to blame Trump for the arsonists? Or how about those who were setting off fireworks on New Year’s Eve or after and failed to make sure said fireworks didn’t start any fires?

The Palisades Fire that has devastated Los Angeles and killed at least eight people may have reignited from scorch marks left by an earlier inferno that is believed to have been caused by fireworks set off on New Year’s Eve, according to a report.

The remnants of the New Year’s Eve fire likely could’ve been reignited by strong winds — which have made the current blazes difficult to control — even six days after it was put out, the Washington Post reported.

Yep, that’s Trump’s fault as well because reasons dammit! 

Mayor Karen Bass promised she wouldn’t travel overseas during her tenure as mayor. I guess multiple trips (on taxpayers dime I’m sure) to the Olympics plus hanging out in Ghana for an inauguration is somehow Trump’s fault as well? Oh wait, because Karen was out of the country, she couldn’t issue an emergency declaration regarding the Palisade fire. That’s Trump’s fault too according to Jen’s reasoning. 

Did the fire departments know a crucial reservoir was empty? What about the fire hydrant issues? 

Every excuse they make should be followed unyieldingly by the question "Why was the 117 million gallon water reservoir empty?"

Do you play politics or do you step up and actively work to keep your community protected? Pretty certain that Karen Bass likes the political game instead of protecting her constituents. Why else is a crucial memo getting disappeared from the city website and she’s instead blathering on about price-gouging?

Meanwhile, good ole Gavin Hairgel Newsom, who has previously blamed corporate greed for wild fires, is deflecting questions about an empty reservoir, has cut millions from the wildland fire fighting budget, and put up a ‘misinformation website’ that goes right to his 2028 campaign website. 

But that’s ok. Their incompetence and unwillingness to accept responsibility for their lack of leadership is totally fine with Jen Psaki.

Jen REALLY wants Trump to be at fault. Yet California Democrats from Gavin Newsom, to Karen Bass, to the California legislature have their priorities.

Preparing and protecting California citizens from devastating wildfires is not on the list. Jen Psaki knows that but will gaslight anyway to hold on to the narrative with all her might.
