President Trump has been most blessed in the enemies he has made in life. The Democrats were just spinning up the warmonger and impeachable offense narratives when Trump announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran. Democrats are hardest hit. To quote Hee Haw:
“Gloom, despair and agony on me;
Deep dark depression, excessive misery
If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all;
Gloom, despair and agony on me.”
The Democrats don’t know whether to flip or fly and I am here for it.
Before we go any further, I must clarify that we are not and were not at war with Iran as our Carol told you the other day. But, Iran wanted to act like a Democrat Angry Toddler but tonight that ended:
HUGE BREAKING: A "complete ceasefire" has been agreed to by Israel and Iran beginning in approximately 6 hours in what history may very well refer to as "The 12 Day War."
Pray for a lasting peace in Israel, Iran, and the entire Middle East. pic.twitter.com/29PvQH6HGE

That sobbing sound you hear is Democrats. They don’t want a ceasefire. Qatar did. They don’t shout out their dislike for Iran, but they were not unhappy about the centrifuges blowing up. From the BBC:
Qatari PM Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani helped to secure the ceasefire, according to officials involved with negotiations who spoke to US media.
According to the unnamed officials, Qatar became involved in the US proposal after speaking on the phone with Iranian officials, after Iran struck US military bases in the region, including in Qatar.
Watch Fareed’s face fall, as he gets the news about the ceasefire from the anchor-boy:
Jeff Zeleny at the White House laments that we got the news directly from Trump on Truth Social rather than having a news reader interpret the agreement for us poor peasants. New media isn’t the same as old media. We know y’all lie.
Axios News was the first news group to acknowledge that the ceasefire between the aggressive Iran and the (took it as long as they could) Israelis:
President Trump’s abrupt announcement Monday that a ceasefire in the Iran-Israel war is imminent threatens a congressional effort to limit his power to initiate unilateral military strikes on Iran.
Why it matters: The lead House Republican on the push is getting cold feet, but non-interventionist Democrats still want to have the vote in order to send a broader message about congressional war powers.
“We may … have a conflict in the future, and we need to be on record saying no offensive war in Iran without prior authorization,” Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) told Axios.
It may be a moot point: House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) had signaled plans to use a procedural work-around to block rank-and-file members from forcing a war powers vote.
Ro Khanna wasn’t in Congress during Barack Obama’s last year in office, but Khanna should be asked about the 26,172 bombs that Obama dropped on seven countries without asking Congress for permission. Obama was very indiscriminate about where and on whom he dropped those bombs. More:
House Foreign Affairs Committee ranking member Greg Meeks (D-N.Y.) is introducing his own war powers resolution, Axios has learned.
His two-page measure would direct Trump to “remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities against the Islamic Republic of Iran,” according to a copy obtained by Axios.
The measure is also sponsored by Reps. Adam Smith (D-Wash.) and Jim Himes (D-Conn.), the top Democrats on the House Armed Services and Intelligence committees.“If there’s a ceasefire, we don’t need to withdraw from a war,” Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), the lead Republican on the war powers resolution, told reporters after Trump’s announcement.
The libertarian Kentuckian said he told Johnson he “wouldn’t push” the resolution “if the ceasefire holds.”
Massie has been locked in an increasingly adversarial relationship with Trump — with the president’s political operation even launching a PAC to defeat him in his GOP primary.
Yes, but: Khanna told Axios “we still need” a vote, arguing a ceasefire “makes it probably an easier vote for people to do, just to get it on record for Congress to take back its authority.”
Lord a mercy. Who is a bigger crybaby Ro Khanna or Tom Massie?
Let’s see what Grok says:
Public sentiment on Trump's ceasefire announcement is polarized. Some Republicans may view it as a diplomatic win, potentially slightly boosting Trump's approval ratings, currently at 40-46%. Skeptics, including Democrats, question its effectiveness since neither Israel confirmed…

For the best take, let’s see what The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute posted last night:
They know.

Nice takedown of Democrats.
Now do the antisemites and grifters who lurk on the Right: Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Steve Bannon, Dave Smith, Darryl Cooper, Nick Fuentes, Jackson Hinkle, and of course, Marjorie Taylor “Jewish Space Lasers” Greene.
To quote Erick Erickson in his Substack post this morning: “In the end, the only thing Tucker Carlson got right was the population of Iran.”
